Chapter 21

Hong Dao sat on the farthest seat, slightly took a glance at Zuo TingYi, who was sitting right next to him, surprisingly said, "Weird, when did you take an interest in Movie Cards?"

"Interest?" Zuo TingYi shook his head, "Not really."

"But I saw you were like entirely focusing on it," A hint of suspicion could be seen on Hong Dao's face.

Zuo TingYi, who was sitting neatly, casually said, "Doing one thing doesn't need to pay too much attention to its appearances. But if you couldn't even fake it, then eighty  to ninety percent of it will be a failure."

"You liar!" Hong Dao said with a voice full of spite. He then yawned,  "Anyhow, I'm exhausted.  I say, even if you didn't have anything to do, you didn't have to drag me here to watch some Movie Cards, did you? If you like it, why don't you buy one for yourself? What is the point of coming here?"

"We can't judge a matter only by its appearance…"

Hong Dao quickly interrupted him, "The point, talk to the point."

"I came because of her," Zuo TingYi casually answered.

"Her? Who is her?" Hong Dao was confused.

Zuo TingZi slightly glanced over to the corner of the cla.s.sroom, "Man SiYing."

Hong Dao face's was as stiff as stone. After half of a minute, he shook, as if he'd just heard a shocking news, "Man SiYing? G.o.d!  When did she captivate you? I say, TingZi, you are too much. You even hid it from me. You didn't even say anything.  Anyhow, when did such an emotionless person like you become more understanding?…"

Zuo TingYi ignored Hong Dao, turned around and said, "I heard, lately, that Aragon had also taken an interest in her."

That sentence immediately made Hong Dao speechless. After a while, he slowly asked, "How did you know?"

Suddenly, Hong Dao realized that Zuo TingYi was looking at him as if he was an idiot. Only then did he understand how silly his question was.   Zuo TingYi was one of the two disciples of the Discipline Committee. He had real power; he got hold of news quickly.  In the inst.i.tution, except for Zeng QiYi, the leader of the Eight Diagrams Gang, TingYi was the one who got the most information from him.

"What does this have anything to do with you?" Hong Dao looked at his best friend with doubt in his eyes. He judged him from head to toe, "No matter how I look at you, you don't look like someone who would draw out one' sword when encountering injustices."

Baa, Zuo TingYi, who was sitting neatly, absurdly closed the book "The General Card Theory" which was as thick as a brick. He solemnly said, "Based on the school's newest settlement, due to a welcoming ceremony for the exchange group from the Stars Courtyard, any fatal event will be restricted.  I am a member of the Discipline Committee; I can't just stand there and look."

While Hong Dao was still in daze, Zuo TingYi added, "The most important thing is that the school forces me to do this." His face was quite begrudged, but he quickly recovered to normal, "In fact, Aragon's gang has been quite active lately. That was why I had wanted to be in charge of this fully."

"Talking about half of a day, it's still coming back to this matter, isn't it?" Hong Dong was bored, "This type of boring stuff, what did you drag me here for?"

Zuo TingYi casually glared at Hong Dao, and spat out two words, "To fight."

The DongWei Inst.i.tution had a liberal learning method. The school board didn't oblige their disciples.  Moreover, the disciples in this school, if they weren't wealthy, then they would have had come from some n.o.ble, prominent family. The inst.i.tution didn't dare to offend them.  That was why, if there was a dispute among the disciples, they would have mostly ignored it. In the end, the disciples still had to solve it themselves.  No matter what happened, the disciples couldn't blame it on the school.  This had made the discipline issues inside of the school become a difficult topic.

Zuo TingYi became a part of the Discipline Committee; one reason was that he was loved by most of the instructors, the other reason was directly related to his family background.  The Discipline Committee was the place, where it was the most easiest to offend people. Not to mention that Zuo TingYi was only a Card Creator, he barely had any power.

However, he was a cruel man. Zuo TingYi brought with him five extremely formidable Card Cultivators. Weirdly, his normally lenient father had devotedly supported him. Bringing five of the high-level Card Cultivators back to school, Zuo TingYi started to strictly reinforce the rules inside of the school, using ruthless manipulation to manage the others.  Most of the stubborn people who didn't want to listen were severely punished at that time.  Among them, there wasn't a few who had came from wealthy families. It was just that their family's background couldn't have surpa.s.sed him. Moreover, their underlings could not defend Zuo TingYi's five formidable Card Cultivators.

In this short while, the order at the DongWei Inst.i.tution was instantly corrected. The school rejoiced. They then used their best efforts to support Zuo TingYi.

Thanks to this legend, Zuo TingYi's satanic reputation at the DongWei Inst.i.tution was confirmed.  From then onward, every time the playboys looked at him, it was as if the mouse had spotted the cat. Even the instructors of the Discipline Committee had also been tolerating him.  Zuo TingYi had also stopped using the five high-level Card Cultivators to threaten people.

The other disciple of the Discipline Committee was Zeng XinYi. However, this girl didn't have any interest in the works that was related to the committee. She was only interested with the Eight Diagrams Gang.

In this school, Aragon was famous for being a playboy with an incredibly unruly att.i.tude.  But due to his wealthy family, only a few people could have confronted him.  Anyhow, from then till now, he understood his position well. Generally, he had never messed with anyone who he shouldn't have been messing with in the first place.  In this inst.i.tution, there were two kinds of people whom he couldn't offend. The first ones were those who had a more special family background than he did, the others were those that were outstanding disciples, such as Hong Dao.

He usually bullied disciples who came from common, middle-cla.s.s, or no reputation families, like Man SiYing. Around him were a couple of disciples who were from the same high-cla.s.s family as him. Among this group, none of them were not of the typical playboy type.

In this sensitive period, the school didn't want any unfavorable situations.  Hence, when Zuo TingYi knew about this news, he immediately took action.  Coincidently, they were sitting right behind Lei Zi and Chen Mu.

At the front of the cla.s.sroom, a female shrilling shriek suddenly resounded, "What do you guys want! You hooligans!"

A series of mocking laughter instantly followed.

"Ha, beauty, don't be absurd! Hooligan? What part of us is a hooligan?"

Someone answered with a rascally but smooth voice. Around him, laughter echoed unhesitatingly.  The one who had spoke was Aragon.  Aragon's face was round. Moreover, he had a big tummy, short legs; his whole body was not much that different from that of numerous big and small b.a.l.l.s that formed into a human shape.  The more that one looked at his little eyes, the more nasty that it became.

"You…," The girl's face was reddened due to anger. She didn't know what to say.

This unexpected event instantly cut off the peace within the cla.s.sroom. Lots of the disciples knew that they had better leave the cla.s.sroom when they had seen the bully.

Chen Mu was dumbstruck.

This voice…
