Chapter 22

That day, which was filled thoroughly with sunlight, on the gra.s.s yard in the DongWei Inst.i.tution, a voice from behind resonated in his ears. It was the voice that had enlightened him when he had encountered the troubles while making the level one Illusory Cards.  Although the mysterious Card had also explained this point in great detail, Chen Mu still remembered this voice.

He glanced over to that direction.

A crowd gathered around Aragon, looking at Man SiYing with ill intentions.

Right now, half of the cla.s.sroom had already left. There were only a few people that remained.

Concurrently, a guy within Aragon's group suddenly focused on the last row of the cla.s.sroom. As soon as he saw Zuo TingYi and Hong Dao, his face paled. He hurriedly pulled Aragon over.

Aragon had also noticed Zuo TingYi. His facial expression immediately changed.  He had heard about Zuo TingYi's popularity as soon as he had entered this inst.i.tution. Until now, he was still trying to prevent any conflicts with Zuo TingYi.  He didn't expect that they would encounter each other at last.

Bam, the sound of a closing book resonated.

Zuo TingYi stood up, his face was solemn, "I am the Disciples Committee's member, Zuo TingYi. You guys have violated rules numbered seventeen, forty-nine and one hundred forty-two of  the school regulations.  Rules numbered one, nine and thirty-two of the "DongWei Inst.i.tution temporarily management regulations" which was established three days ago.  This is a serious situation. Please go to the Discipline Room with me."

Everyone's facial expressions had instantly changed. They all knew about Zuo TingYi's reputation at the DongWei Inst.i.tution.

Aragon's face slightly twisted. Although he was scared of Zuo TingYi's reputation, he still casually said,  "Zuo-ge, we don't need to go that far. We saw each other almost every day; you don't need to be that serious, do you?"

Zuo TingYi couldn't care less. There wasn't the slightest change on his face, "Don't waste words. Quickly follow me to the discipline room."

Lei Zi, who was standing next to Chen Mu, was constantly pulling his s.h.i.+rt, signaling him to leave.  The two of them were familiar with this scene. Naturally, they knew  that they should have had protected themselves.  Moreover, they knew that they didn't need to have been involved in this. Lei Zi could tell that both sides were not good people to begin with.

Chen Mu was totally like a wooden head, he didn't even move. This made Lei Zi anxious.  Had this guy drank the wrong medicine today or what? To his knowledge, Chen Mu definitely wasn't a person who was filled with heroic att.i.tudes.  If a person had been through what they had been through when they were young, and still would have been able to have maintained their heroic att.i.tudes, to Lei Zi, they would have either been a fool or filled with unhealthy ambitions. Both him and Chen Mu were not of those kinds of people.  But Chen Mu's weird behaviors right now had made Lei Zi not know what else there was that he could do.  Anyhow, if Chen Mu had wanted to go, Lei Zi would have naturally gone with him. They didn't even need to think about it. Whether it was Lei Zi or Chen Mu, they would all do that.

Aragon's face twisted even more; he didn't expect Zuo TingYi to have no regards for him at all.  Moreover, it was clear that Zuo TingYi had come for him.  He already had been used to be able to do whatever he had wanted in the inst.i.tution. Stepping down to this extent, he had already given him some face.

"If you say so, then cla.s.smate Zuo, you really have no regards for me at all, do you?" Aragon's face became solemn; his tone was also getting colder.  As soon as he finished his words, his underlings immediately stood up one by one. His face was full of evil intentions.

"Oh, this year has only just started, but it seems like there are still people who aren't afraid to die, haha," Hong Dao slowly stood up, using his awkward voice to mock.  His left hand casually caressed the gear on his right wrist.  At the same time, he also didn't forget to scoff at Zuo TingYi, "I've already told you TingYi, that person basically doesn't want to give you any face, why do you need to fail to this extent?"

Hong Dao was also famous in the inst.i.tution. Of course, when talking about reputations, he couldn't be compared with Zuo TingYi. Moreover, his name was directly related to his capacity.  He was the leader of the Card Cultivators faculty in the DongWei Inst.i.tution. His capacities were boundless. Rumors had it that he already could have been compared with those of the professional Card Cultivators.

Right now, it seemed as if those rumors were true.

A Card Cultivator, who was standing next to Aragon, changed his expression when he saw Hong Dao's left-hand movement. He had become more solemn.  This person was at least thirty years old. At a first glance, he didn't look anything like that of a disciple. Eighty to ninety percent of the time, Aragon's father knew what his golden child had been doing on the outside, that was why he had sent a powerful security team to protect him.  This usually happens to those dandy guys and mistresses. The school tended to keep quiet in regards to these matters.

Hong Dao slightly smiled while looking at that Card Cultivator. In a blink, one could see two tiny fiery dragons floating around his right finger.  The two fiery dragons were just as tall as a thumb, but their scales could clearly be seen.

The Card Cultivator obviously seemed to be scared of the two tiny dragons. He looked as if he was prepared for any eventualities. Next to him, seven light spots emerged, like seven fireflies hovering around him.

This was the first time that Chen mu had witnessed a fight between the Card Cultivators. He was extremely curious.  The tiny dragon on Hong Dao's hand was a mini version of the Fiery Dragon Card that he had made. And there were seven light spots on the other Card Cultivator's hands. Although he couldn't have been compared to that blind person in the advertis.e.m.e.nt Illusory Card, who could have made a colorful meteor shower appear every time that he raised his hands.

Suddenly, Hong Dao's eyes lit up; he flipped his left index finger, a tiny dragon instantly shot out as fast as electricity.

Too fast! Chen Mu couldn't help but shake while looking from the side. Although his reaction speed had been much enhanced, because of the previous physical education course. However, he could be certain that he wouldn't have been able to dodge it when faced with such tremendous speed.

That Card Cultivator also wasn't a weakling. Three light spots fired towards that tiny dragon, leaving a faint long light trace behind in mid-air. Chen Mu could see three stunning silver light threads flying across.

Bang! A thunderous explosion sound pierced into the people's ears hurtfully. Right at the collision, the destruction energy created a ma.s.sive, shocking agitation.

Chen Mu felt as if someone had just pushed him very hard. He was staggering.  Not needing to mention the other people in the cla.s.sroom, who were falling down, one by one.

Anyhow, the two of them didn't intended to take any further actions. The situation once again recovered to a stalemate.

Looking at a fight which he couldn't comprehend, a hint of admiration could be seen from Chen Mu's eyes.

Regardless of the two opposite sides, in this empty cla.s.sroom, Chen Mu and Lei Zi seemed quite garish.

"You two fellows don't look very familiar; I wonder from which faculty are you guys coming from?" Aragon suddenly turned towards Chen Mu and Lei Zi, smiling.  Although he didn't know of these two's capacities, to him, lessening an enemy meant that it would have increased his chances of winning.

Chen Mu didn't say a word as if he also didn't hear anything. Lei Zi also kept his mouth shut.

Aragon instantly retrieved his smiled. This time, he was truly angry.  If Zuo TingYi and Hong Dao didn't give him face, he felt normal. Nothing was serious, no matter what, they both had an ill.u.s.trious reputation.  But these two, even at a glance, he knew that their family's backgrounds were nothing. However, they did dare to act tough in front of him, how could he not be mad?

He sent an implicating look over to his two underlings beside him.
