"You're… pregnant?"

Joy filled his chest upon learning about it but his smile became stiff when he saw the look on Li Bingbing's face. He ended up gulping nervously. 

Why was she looking as if she was going to murder him?

"Yes." She replied, "I deserve an explanation for this, Lu Xian Yu. How the h.e.l.l did I become pregnant?"

Why was she asking something so obvious? 

"Uh… we had s.e.x?"

Her eyes narrowed at what he answered, "Duh, of course, we did!"

Then why was she looking at him as if it was his fault for making her pregnant? 

"You raped me real good…" mumbled Lu Xian Yu as he averted his gaze from her.

Li Bingbing raised a brow, "Did you say something?"

"No, nothing."

She was sure that Lu Xian Yu said something. He looked as if he was complaining on something but she decided to ignore it.

"Anyway, as I was saying, I took birth control pills after that night. Me becoming pregnant is impossible except if it's expired."

"It must be expired then." He smiled, looking innocently at her.

"Oh really? A little bird told me that you ordered someone to change it." She crossed her arms, looking closely at him.

"What? I don't remember doing that." He quickly denied. "Who's that little bird? I want to know where she heard that nonsense!"

"Are you trying to f*ck with me right now?" She gave him a warning glare.

Although at that moment, he turned a blind eye on her glare, instead, he smiled playfully at her, "Oh... you want to f*ck here?"

"Lu Xian Yu!"

"Yes, sweetheart?"

Li Bingbinh gritted her teeth in annoyance, "Have you forgotten what you promised me earlier or should I hit your head with a bowl to make it stick in your head!"

"It's not good to be a violent person, honey…"

"Then tell me the truth!"

As he spent more time with Li Bingbing, he noticed that she was becoming scarier. In the end, he choose to give in.

"You were the one who raped me that's why you should take responsibility! Shouldn't you be grateful instead that I didn't bring you to the police station?" He acted like a concubine who was greatly wronged by her emperor.

Li Bingbing's brow twitched. This guy… he's worse than she thought.

She ma.s.saged the bridge of her nose. He truly was shameless for turning the blame to her. Well… it's not like he was wrong about it though.

"So… Bibi… are you really pregnant?" He wanted to make sure that she was not lying about it.

"Didn't I already told you that I am earlier?"

His eyes sparkled in delight and his lips curled up into a wide grin. He stood up from his seat before he went to her side but he was stopped when Li Bingbing placed her hand on his chest to stop him. "Don't you dare carry me and twirl me around if you don't want me to puke on you."

When Lu Xian Yu heard what she said, he suddenly felt dejected. How can she be this cold to him?

Li Bingbing stared at him for a short while. He looked like a pitiful dog at that moment.

She stood up and smiled. She fully faced him before she hugged him by his neck, "I guess I'll let it go just this once."

He looked at her smiling face. There was something about the way she smiled. Her smile was one of happiness growing, much as a spring flower opens. He could see how it came from deep inside to light her eyes. Her smile s.h.i.+ned like the stars in the sky, with no bright city lights to dim them. It was like the sun opened its eager light to s.h.i.+ne about her, only brightening her perfectly aligned teeth. At that moment, she looked so angelic.

Lu Xian Yu's eyes softened. He could see his own reflection in her eyes. He couldn't help but think that all his sufferings throughout the years we're worth it if he could see her smile like that towards him.

Instead of carrying her and twirling her around, he hugged her close. The happiness he was feeling at that moment was so overwhelming, "Let's get married tomorrow."

Li Bingbing: "..."

"Just shut up and kiss me!" She held his collar and pulled him down to her level, capturing his lips.
