"Why are you so quiet?" Mengmeng asked, turning to Han Xukun.

They were currently in the wolf king's palace. Han Qinshan left the kids in the living room since something came up that needed his attention.

The only reason why Han Xukun was in the same room as them was because his father wanted him to entertain their guests.

Han Xukun placed the cup of tea back on the coffee table, not giving Mengmeng an answer.

Mengmeng pouted when he ignored her. "Crybaby prince!"

"My name is Han Xukun."

Mengmeng ended up grinning when she successfully gained his attention. "So?"

"Address me properly."

Qinqing was intently staring at Han Xukun, not liking how his sister was giving him her attention.

Han Xukun felt so uncomfortable with the way Qinqing was staring at him. Where did that happy and adorable smile of his went?

Instead of worrying about that, he ignored him as well.

Mengmeng stood up and went to sit beside Han Xukun instead.

When Qinqing saw that, he went and inserted himself in between them.

Han Xukun: "..." What now?

Qinqing held his sister's arm, "Jiejie, let's go home."

"Already?" Mengmeng pouted. She turned to Han Xukun, "I remember that you said that you have dogs, can we meet them?"

Qinqing turned to Han Xukun and gave him a glare as if telling him to shut his mouth.

Han Xukun raised a brow at Qinqing. "Siscon."

Mengmeng blinked a few times, confused at what Han Xukun said. "Huh?"

She looked at Qinqing then at Han Xukun who were glaring at each other. She was clueless at why they were wary of each other.

She placed a hand on top of Qinqing's head, "Qinqing, he's our Gege, be good."

"Qinqing doesn't have Gege, I only have Jiejie." He hugged his sister protectively.

Han Xukun sighed. He didn't want to deal with such troublesome children. Why did his father leave him alone with them? He didn't want to babysit them.

Just then, they heard a crash, making them stand up from their seats.

When they turned their heads towards where it came from, they saw an angelic boy by the terrace, beside him was a broken vase.

What caught their attention was his wavy ginger hair. His black eyes were filled with pure mischief.

"Oopsie." 

Han Xukun sighed, "What are you doing here Si Hongqi?"

The boy named Si Hongqi stood up and dusted off the dirt from his s.h.i.+rt, "I came to visit you."

"You could have used the door instead of climbing a tree…"

"I'm an uninvited guest, your servants will just kick me out." Si Hongqi turned to Mengmeng and Qinqing, he smiled at them, "Oh, I see that you have guests here."

"Hn. They are my father's guests." 

Si Hongqi walked directly to Mengmeng and held her hand, he leaned down and kissed the back of it before giving her a kind smile, "My, what a lovely girl you are. My name is Si Hongqi, may I know your name?"

Qinqing, on the other hand, was awestruck by Si Hongqi's gentle and angelic appearance. For some reason, the way he smiled was similar to… his father.

Mengmeng noticed that as well that was why just like her brother, she couldn't help but look at him.

Han Xukun pulled Mengmeng and Qinqing behind him, "Do not be deceived by his appearance. He always has a smile on his face but his eyes never reflect that. Him calling you 'lovely' is just lip service, in reality, he is cold-hearted and doesn't possess any kind of feelings for others."

"How mean of you, Xukun. How can you badmouth me while I'm in front of you? I'm truly hurt right now."

Han Xukun ignored him. Instead, he held Mengmeng and Qinqing's hand, dragging them away from Si Hongqi.

"Is this how you treat your only friend?"

Mengmeng pulled her hand away from Han Xukun's hold. She turned back to look at Si Hongqi, "Gege, can you smile again?"

Si Hongqi blinked a few times, surprised by what Mengmeng suddenly asked. "Huh?"

"Yeah! Please smile again!" Added Qinqing.

Si Hongqi was a bit confused about why the two wanted him to smile again. He turned his gaze at Han Xukun, questioning him with his look.

Even Han Xukun was taken aback by how serious Mengmeng and Qinqing were looking at Si Hongqi.

"Xian Yu, have you seen the kids?" Li Bingbing asked, entering the kitchen.

"Han Qinshan took them to his place." Lu Xian Yu replied. He transferred the food he cooked on the plates.

Li Bingbing sighed in relief. For a second, she got worried when she didn't find them around. 

She went and sat on the chair, "We should pick them up after this."

"Hn, okay." He placed the food on the table before he sat on her opposite.

As they began eating, Li Bingbing suddenly remembered something. "Oh yeah, I have something to tell you, Xian Yu."

"Go on."

"I'm pregnant."

Her words made Lu Xian Yu choke. What the h.e.l.l?! Can't she at least let him finish chewing before throwing a bomb at him?
