Lu Xian Yu was quiet the whole time as he followed the children with Li Bingbing and Xia Sinian.

The previous days weren't easy for him. After he comforted Li Bingbing the night when she broke down, he distanced himself from the family of four. It was because he didn't want to distract the family of his presence.

There were times where he received calls from Li Bingbing but that was only because of the children, wanting to talk with him. There were times where they asked why he didn't visit them anymore and he would always say that he was busy with work as an excuse.

Just by looking at Xia Sinian's frail body, he knew that he didn't have much time left. For some reason, he was actually grateful that Xia Sinian was able to live until the children's birthday celebration.

Even though it was quiet between the grownups, the atmosphere around them wasn't awkward at all. Lu Xian Yu and Xia Sinian were in good terms, while Li Bingbing was grateful that Lu Xian Yu knew how to give her family some s.p.a.ce.

She noticed that he has somehow changed from the man she used to know back then. He wasn't overbearing or even forceful anymore. The Lu Xian Yu with them was patient and there was something else that she couldn't put to words.

After everyone spent one hour and a half roaming around the zoo, they went back to the cafeteria to eat and after that, the program went on. There were games for the children and at the end of the program were the gifts giving and the closing remarks coming from Li Bingbing and her children.

"We'll visit you tomorrow." Ji Rou said with a small smile as she looked at her grandson, Xia Sinian.

Xia Sinian nodded a bit, "I'll be expecting you then."

"Brother..." Xia Meilin held her brother's thin hand.

A gentle smile appeared on Xia Sinian's lips, "I'll see you tomorrow, Xiao Mei."

Xia Meilin nodded, returning the smile to him, "See you tomorrow."

The servant helped Xia Sinian in entering the car.

Xia Meilin turned to Li Bingbing, "Take care on your way back."

"You too."

"Bye, auntie Meimei!" Mengmeng waved at her together with Qinqing before she turned to her cousins, "See you later, Mello-ge, Xiao Chun, Xiao Xing!"

"Let's play house tomorrow!" Little Spring said with a grin.

"Play!" Qinqing's eyes brightened.

Mengmeng nodded, "Okay! Mengmeng and Qingqing will bring our toys too!" Then she turned to s.h.i.+ Yi and s.h.i.+ Enxi, " Brother Yiyi and sister Enxi should come and join us too!"

"I'm too old for that!" Huffed s.h.i.+ Yi.

"I want to play." s.h.i.+ Enxi said with an adorable smile as she went and hugged Qinqing, "Big sister Bingbing, can I have Qinqing as my brother instead? Qinqing is so cute!"

Li Bingbing laughed lightly at what her sister said, "No, you can't have him.'

Mengmeng held Qinqing's hand and tried pulling him away from s.h.i.+ Enxi, "sister Enxi can't have Qinqing! Qinqing is Mengmneg's brother! Mengmeng will not give QInqing to you!" She hugged her little brother protectively.

s.h.i.+ Enxi pouted, "I want a little brother too..."

Her father cleared his throat before he leaned and whispered to Mu Xijiu's ear, "Should we make another one?"

Mu Xijiu's face went red after hearing her husband's words, "Go make one yourself."

s.h.i.+ Yi rolled his eyes, he ignored his parents and instead he looked at Little Melon with a smirk, "Let's play another round in chess, I'll beat you this time."

Little Melon smiled at him before he answered, "Sure."

"Anyway, we should get going now." Li Bingbing patted Mengmeng's head, she was still hugging her brother protectively.

"Okay!" She released her little brother before she turned to Lu Xian Yu, "Daddy, will you be coming tomorrow too?"

Lu Xian Yu smiled a bit, he bent down and patted her head, "I have work so I can't." When he saw how her daughter sulked, he quickly added, "But I'll try to come in the afternoon, okay?"

"Promise?" She showed her pinky finger at him.

Lu Xian Yu sighed in defeat when he saw his daughter's expectant look, "Alright, I promise." He wrapped his pinky around hers.

Mengmeng gave him a hug after he promised her.

Meanwhile, at first, the others were confused about why Mengmeng kept calling Lu Xian Yu as her daddy but then they thought that it might just be her way of calling him as an uncle since Qinqing was calling Lu Xian Yu the same way as well.

Since Mengmeng's features were mostly on Li Bingbing's side, the others didn't notice Mengmeng's resemblance to Lu Xian Yu. They would only be able to notice it if they look closely at her. But now that Mengmeng was hugging Lu Xian Yu, they were able to realize that Mengmeng somehow resembled Lu Xian Yu.
