"No, no more ice cream, Qinqing." Lu Mengjie patted her brother's head.

Qinqing turned to Lu Xian Yu and gave him an adorable puppy look, "Da, ice creeeeam..." He whined like a small pup.

When Lu Xian Yu saw his adorable look, it was hard for him to decline the little boy's offer.

Mengmeng went and blocked her father's view with her hands, "Daddy, no! Qinqing is not allowed to have another ice cream since he easily gets colds."

"Jiejieeee!" The little boy pursed his lips, he wanted more ice cream and he wouldn't stop from asking until he was given one.

Lu Xian Yu stared at the two children in front of him, smiling. He stood up before he scooped Qinqing in his arms, "Instead of ice cream, how about we go check out some toys?"

Upon hearing the word 'toys', Qinqing's eyes sparkled in delight. "Toys.h.!.+"

Mengmeng grabbed Lu Xian Yu's cloth, looking up at him, "Will daddy buy toys for me too?"

"Of course, I'll buy toys for my little peanut too."

After Li Bingbing calmed down, she went to look for her children, only to find them out of the hospital.

She told Xia Sinian about it but instead of getting worried about it, he was calm, after all, he trusted Lu Xian Yu with his kids.

It was by sunset that the trio went back to the hospital with Lu Xian Yu, carrying so many paper bags that were filled with toys, children clothes, and even some food.

When Li Bingbing and Xia Sinian saw him with these, their jaws dropped.

"Mama, papa!" The two kids greeted, running toward them.

Mengmeng was wearing a rabbit-eared headband, while Qinqing was wearing a mouse-eared headband.

Mengmeng hugged her mother's leg, "Mama, daddy is so good!"

Qinqing nodded, smiling happily, he was hugging her legs as well.

Lu Xian Yu placed the paper bags down before he looked at Li Bingbing and smiled, "They sure are full of energy." He turned to Xia Sinian, "We bought your dinner."

"Yes! Daddy, Mengmeng and Qinqing bought papa's favorite food!" Mengmeng happily exclaimed as she went and tried to climb up the chair that was beside the bed.

"I heard from them that you like chicken fried rice." Lu Xian Yu said as he took the takeout box from one of the paper bags. He turned to Li Bingbing, "I've brought one for you too."

Li Bingbing sighed. She really wanted to avoid Lu Xian Yu as much as possible but at the same time, she didn't want to ruin the peaceful atmosphere in the room. She went and helped Mengmeng and Qinqing up to the Xia Sinian's bed.

"Sisi became vegetarian," said she without facing him.

Xia Sinian turned to her with a raised brow, "Since when?"

"The doctor said that you need to eat healthy food. In case you didn't notice, I have always given you veggies." She said with a smile before she turned to Lu Xian Yu, "But since you already have that food, I will only allow him to have meat for today."

She went and took the takeout boxes from her, "Have the kids eaten yet?"

"No, they wanted to have their dinner here," answered Lu Xian Yu, taking the rest of the boxes before he went and placed them on the bed table.

He looked at the family of four before him and watching them together made Lu Xian Yu feel bitter inside. It wasn't easy to watch the woman he loved with someone else but at that moment, he buried his jealousy down.

"Daddy, aren't you going to eat with us?" Mengmeng asked, pausing from eating her food.

"Ah... I'm still full. Those food are just for you all." He answered with a small smile on his lips. "I think I should probably get goi-"

"Da! Fwod!" Qinqing raised his chopsticks that was holding chicken meat, he pointed it to him as if wanting to feed him.

Li Bingbing eyed Lu Xian Yu without saying a thing, she just continued eating her food instead.

"Da! Da! Food! It's yum yum!"

Xia Sinian chuckled a bit, "Are you sure that you don't want to eat with us? Look, Qinqing's willing to share his food with you."

"Since daddy has no food, Mengmeng will share too!"
