Xia Meilin's eyes became red when she saw her brother on the screen. He was on his pajamas. He still looked the same except for his pale skin. For some reason, he looked paler than the last time she saw him.

When Xia Sinian saw his little sister, he couldn't help but let out a smile. He placed his hands on Li Bingbing's shoulders as he stood behind her. "Xiao Mei..."

"Ge ge... I missed you so much..." Xia Meilin's tears were on the verge of falling but she tried her best not to cry since her brother would surely tease her about it.

"I missed you too." He couldn't help but chuckle when he saw his sister trying her best not to cry, "How's everything there?"

"It's good, good. I'm in Italy now."

"Italy?" Xia Sinian and Li Bingbing asked at the same time.

"Yes." She wiped the tears that formed on the side of her eyes. "We're planning to stay here until I give birth. Although I'm currently alone here since Lu Yifeng wanted to let Xiao Gua finish his semester in China before he can transfer here.'

"Thank you..." Xia Sinian was distracted by her sudden greeting. He turned to Li Bingbing and smiled a bit. There was a tinge of warmth seen in his eyes and at the same time, there was a mixture of sadness in it. He was sad because he knew how limited his time was.

Xia Sinian shook his head, "Nothing." He leaned down and kissed her forehead before he turned and looked at the screen.

Seeing how her brother looked at her, Xia Meilin smiled. He wanted to talk privately with Li Bingbing and because of that, Xia Meilin decided that she should probably end the call. "I'll give you two a call later, okay? Bingbing, make sure you eat plenty of healthy food."

Li Bingbing furrowed her brows. "Are you seriously telling me that? Don't you know how this brother of yours is actually trying to turn me into a vegetarian? I want meat! MEAT!"

Xia Sinian patted her head with an amused smile on his lips, "I thought that you love my cooking?"

"I do! But I would love them more if you cook meat too!"

Xia Meilin laughed lightly as she watched the two bicker with each other.

She sighed as she suddenly missed Lu Yifeng. For some reason, she was thankful that Lu Yifeng was giving her a bit of consideration whenever it came to food. She knew how strict her brother could get that's why she couldn't help but feel sorry for Li Bingbing.

"I should end the call now, ge ge, Bingbing." Xia Meilin said. "Let's talk some other time. I don't want the food to turn cold."

Xia Sinian chuckled, "Okay. You can give us a call tomorrow."

"Okay, see you later, ge ge, Bingbing."

"Hn, see you later."

Li Bingbing was pouting when she looked at her. She was obviously displeased because of the topic of food they just had. "I'll chat you up later."

After the call ended, Xia Sinian turned the swivel chair and made Li Bingbing face him, "Bingbing you know what the doctor said."

"But Sisi, it's not like I don't like your cooking but I want to eat something meaty."

Xia Sinian sighed, "6 more months and you finally can have some. Didn't you tell me that you're going to support me in everything? The doctor said that I need to eat healthy food too so think of it like you're joining me with it."

She stared at him for a short while before she finally gave up. "Fine..."
