While Li Bingbing was taking care of herself for her pregnancy, Xia Sinian would continue on with his treatment every other week but as it went on, Li Bingbing noticed the changes in his appearance. Xia Sinian's complexity became paler.

She was worried about him but Xia Sinian didn't show his pains to her. He would always rea.s.sure her that everything was going to be alright and it was just some side effects of the medicine he was taking.

Li Bingbing's tummy slowly grew as weeks went by. Li Bingbing was currently playing on her computer when just then her phone started ringing. When she saw the caller ID, she grinned upon seeing it.

The video call was answered and Li Bingbing's face was seen on Xia Meilin's screen. She was wearing a baggy s.h.i.+rt and her hair was pulled back by a headband.

"And here I thought that you've forgotten about me." Li Bingbing pouted.

"A lot of things happened, and I was busy."

"Yes, yes. Busy warming the bed for the boss." Li Bingbing smirked teasingly.

Xia Meilin's cheeks went red because of what she said. "Don't even start." She huffed, "By the way, how are you doing there? How's gege?"

"So far, he's doing well." Li Bingbing smiled a bit, "He's currently in the kitchen, preparing food for dinner. You can call later and talk to him."

"Mm, I'll do that. For now, any news between you too?"

Li Bingbing grinned with the question she asked. She showed her hand to her. There was a diamond ring around her ring finger. "We got married."

"Married?!" Xia Meilin was surprised by the sudden news Li Bingbing gave. "No way! How can you not invite me?!"

Li Bingbing rolled her eyes, "As if you invited me in yours."

Xia Meilin pouted, "My marriage with Lu Yifeng was forced, remember? Why would I invite you?" She huffed out.

She was happy that Li Bingbing and her brother finally settled together. She knew the hards.h.i.+ps that they went through together and now that they were together, Xia Meilin promised to protect them the people that were searching for them.

"Oh yeah, I'm planning to divorce him then after that, I'll marry him again. This time, everyone I know will be invited so it's not fair that you didn't invite us there."

"You're crazy! Do you know that you can give the Big Boss a heart attack if you do that?" Li Bingbing was so sure that the moment Lu Yifeng hears the word 'divorce' he will turn into a devil! Who knows, he might even faint!

When Li Bingbing saw the evil grin that was plastered on Xia Meilin's face, she couldn't help but laugh. "Seriously?!"

"Well yeah. That's the plan." A subtle evil laugh was heard from her. "He's always so calm and collected, I want to see him panic. Besides, my due date is on April, this should be a good prank, right?"

"Woman, is this you talking or is it your hormones?" Was her pregnancy causing her best friend to think of such crazy thoughts? How scary!

"I'm bored." Xia Meilin pouted. "My photoshoot with Xiong Fan will still be on Spring after that, I'll focus on being a mother."

Being a mother is hard since it takes up most of a woman's time, especially if the woman is dealing with a newborn baby. Li Bingbing couldn't help but be curious about how Xia Meilin was able to get through it, especially now that she's carrying her second and third children.

Li Bingbing did not totally love children. If she had to be honest, she preferred children that were obedient and were easy to take care of... but with newborn babies? Li Bingbing wasn't sure if she could take care of one. Xia Sinian was the one who' was better in taking care of things than her so how much more of their own child?

"Meimei..."

"Hm?"

"Will you come here and visit us when I give birth?" It would really be nice if Xia Meilin could give her tips on how to take care of a baby.

Xia Meilin's eyes went wide in surprise. "You're pregnant too?!"

"Mm... Yes. It's been three months already."

Li Bingbing wasn't ready to be a mother but for the sake of marrying Xia Sinian, she didn't care about it at first but now that everything was going well between them, Li Bingbing's next problem was motherhood, she was nervous in being a mother.

"OMG! LI BINGBING!"

A few lines appeared on Li Bingbing's forehead as she pulled away from the phone.

"You're pregnant?! For real?!"

"Uh-huh." Li Bingbing smiled a bit as she placed her free hand on her tummy. "That's why I'm a bit nervous since... I don't know how to take care of a child. Will you visit me here one time and help me?"
