"Why? I like being here! No one comes to our house anymore" Angel said

"Don't worry we won't be going anywhere for the time being and we will even eat dinner with you so you can happily fo and play in your room for now" Susan said with a smile as she caressed her cheeks.

"Umm... ok than" Angel said getting up from her seat than going back to her room.

The moment Angel entered her room Mike stood up from his seat and grabbed Matt's collar and started to shake him.

"You f.u.c.ker made us run continuously for more than an hour in fear of death until we weren't even able to move our body, so that we could gain some ability but now you are telling that others can also gain ability by eating the meat of a higher level beast and they may even be able to use it more than what we are capable of! are you f.u.c.king kidding me." Mike shouted as he punched towards Matt's face.

The punch wasn't any special and Matt could easily dodge it but he knew that Mike had every right to punch him, as he was scared and angry. Scared because when the Grizzly bear ran after them he became scared that he will lose his sister and girlfriend today and he may even die today. Mike was already living a good life so he didn't think having an ability would change anything hence the reason for his anger as all of that was done by his best friend who was also his elder twin sisters boyfriend.

Since Matt knew all that he didn't dodged the punch and let it hit him.

"Ah!" exclaimed Sarah in surprise as she didn't think that Mike would punch Matt, not only them but even Susan and Rose were surprised that Mike punched.

"Do you know how scared I was when that bear was running after us!? I wasn't scared for myself but for them. My girlfriend and my sister who apparently is you girlfriend as well isn't she? SO how could you see her in so much pain. She even cried thinking that something had happened to you but you were just watching from the sidelines" Mike said and punched Matt once again hitting him on his left cheek.

The punch weren't that painful as he had 19 points in his strength but Mike wasn't ordinary as well and Matt knew from the punches that he would at least have 13 points in his strength or maybe more.

"What if that bear didn't listened to you and had gone berserk attacking the two of them?" asked Mike

"He didn't went berserk!" Matt stated.

"You are too confident in yourself huh! Didn't you said that this virus made the animals into a beast tell me why would a beast listen to you" Mike continued his onslaught of question while holding onto Matt's collar.

"A tamed beast would." Matt replied

"What!?" asked a slightly confused Mike.

"A tamed beast would listen to orders, just like mine" explained Matt

"Haa... so you think you have tamed the beast. Fine then let's say he follows your order but by mistake he attacks us due to our constant poking, then what could you guarantee that he wouldn't?" Mike asked

"That's what I was there to stop from happening" replied Matt.

"But why? Why call all three of us? You said that it was only a hypothesis that you weren't sure we would gain our ability. It was just an experiment so you could have just called me and then experimented on me and when I gained the ability we both could have stayed in the dark to protect the from any accidents" Mike said.

"It wouldn't work!" Matt said

"Why? Why wouldn't it work?" Mike asked.

"Because you won't let it happen? You won't let your girlfriend and sister experience the fear and exhaustion that you went through for gaining your ability" Matt said.

"You f.u.c.king peice of s.h.i.+-" Mike once again started to curse Matt as he clenched his fist ready to punch him once again but was interrupted by Susan.

"That's enough Mike! Don't go overboard" Susan said.

"What? You are still taking his side! Do you also think he is right?" Mike asked in surprise.

"No I don't think Matt is right but this is not the way to react to it. You and him have been friends for so long, don't let it get between you two" Susan said.

"Friends? I don't understand what type of Friend does what he did? Why did we need an ability? To fight against those beast, do you think we would have to do that? There is military for that all equipped with missiles and RPGs that can easily take out these beasts" Mike said

Matt knew that if he told them about the future they won't believe it and since he had already done the important part of helping them in gaining an ability he would keep his mouth shut for the next months or so until the apocalypse.

"I am going back home" said Mike as he walked towards the door.

"I have made dinner for everyone" Saraha said hearing which Mike stopped.

"I am sorry but I can't stay for the dinner as I am sure that I won't be able to stop myself from punching him for long" Mike said after which he walked out of the house.

Susan and Rose stayed because Susan had promised Angel that they would be staying for the dinner otherwise they would have followed Mike since he was looking like he would explode.

Half an hour later everyone was done with their dinner, Sarah took Angel back to her room for sleeping as tomorrow was her school after which she said her farewell to Matt, Susan and Rose.

"Thanks for helping me Sarah! " Matt said with a smile.

"I am happy that I was helpful" Sarah returned back with a smile of her own.

"Make sure to call me if you are in trouble ok" Matt said

"Yes, I would Thank you!"
