Mike looked at his arm with injury or the arm which supposed to had his injury as when he removed the handkerchief there was no injury at all and only a scar left which would also disappear after some time.

"What the Fu-"

"Mike! mind your language there is a kid here" said Matt reminding Mike about his surroundings.

"Oh! Sorry I forgot" Mike said to Sarah who was bringing them all some tea.

"Its fine you were just surprised that's all" Sarah said as she served everyone some tea.

"Now that Mike is healed, you should start talking" Susan said.

"Right but before that let me introduce you all to each other, Sarah these are my friends Mike and Rose and my girlfriend Susan ad this here is Sarah someone I met in the Beeverhead-Deerlodge National Forest when I was travelling around.

"What? Girlfriend!" asked Sarah in surprise

"What? National Forest!? How? When?" Mike and Rose asked equally surprised.

Susan would have joined them as well in asking the question but when she heard Sarah's question her eyes narrowed.

Since long Matt was quite popular in college so she had to make sure that no one tries to hit on him and because of that she could easily sense when someone was interested in her boyfriend after which she along with her best friend Rose make sure that they don't irritate his boyfriend.

"Yes she is my girlfriend" Matt replied to Sarah unlike before Matt could easily find if someone has feelings for him and since he didn't wanted to have that kind of relations.h.i.+p with Sarah, he made sure that she knew it. As in normal times she would be a perfect wife but in apocalypse she would break down easily.

"The thing about the National Forest is before coming to New York I wanted to travel a little so I went to Montana for a safari ride in the National forest but things didn't go as planned. We were attacked by a black bear much larger than its average size then even though we survived from him but our safari was destroyed but luckily we found another empty safari in which I found Angel hiding inside and got to know about the Human sized monkeys who kidnapped her mother and everyone in their safari so I and another girl named Natasha decided to save her and by the time we saved them from those monkeys after killing them there were only 7 people alive left. After that we traveled by foot and stayed a night in the forest where all of us ate the meat the monkeys we killed after which Sarah, Natasha and Jim were able to gain an ability each...." Matt continued on and explained the story to the three friends of his who were shocked after hearing the adventure Matt had on his trip to the National Forest.

"Wait a minute! SO you are saying that those animals were mutated most probably by a new virus and when we ate them we became immune to the virus and even gained an ability" Mike said

"Yeah, you get it" Matt said.

"I understand that but why did you sent that grizzly bear after us" asked Rose.

"Well from what Jim, Sarah and Natasha had said the only way for one to gain an ability is that when they are both physically and mentally exhausted. I knew that making you physically exhausted was possible but mentally was really and it is only in dangerous situations like facing death does our mind becomes hyperactive hence I sent my grizzly bear to scar you and force you in a situation where both your body and mind were exhausted after which I gave you the mutated animals meat allowing all three of you to gain some ability" Matt explained

"So we went through all that just to gain some ability?" Mike said anger could be clearly heard in his voice and it wasn't just him, even Susan and Rose were clearly angry as well as Matt could see from their faces.

"I couldn't asked before but did you gain an ability as well, Matt?" asked Sarah

"Mine is related to s.p.a.ce. Here let me show you" Matt said as he stood up and took out large amount of mutated animals meat from his inventory.

"Whoa! SO you can store anything in the s.p.a.ce of yours?" Sarah said

"Yeah but that's not all" Matt said then disappeared from his place then appearing behind the sofa where Angel was sitting.

"Ah! uncle did magic like mom" Angel said, "I want to do Magic as well"

Matt smiled at that and said "Angel is a little girl now so she can't learn Magic for the time being but when you grow and become a big girl Uncle will help you in learning magic, Ok"

"umm... that's a promise than" said Angel

"That's..... that's teleportation" Sarah said as she had watched many cartoon shows with her daughter some of them being Fantasy as well she knew about this ability as well.

"Correct but I can't use it more than 5 times and the distance for each is 10 meters and 1 time if I cover the distance of 50 meters after that I lose my spirit the only way to increase it more is to either eat more meat of such animals or continuously use it to let the spirit recover on its own so that it could grow" explained Matt.

"Huh! So That's the limit no matter who is it when they gain their ability for the first time they can't use it for more than 5 times?" Sarah said

"Yes, that's what I have found till now but it may not be necessarily true" Matt said

"What do you mean by that!?" asked Sarah.

The conversation was going on between the two and the other three weren't interrupting as they were too angry to ask anything.

"Well these animals will continue to grow strong and so would we if our ability also becomes stronger but what if someone eats a much more mutated animals meat than we have the chance of him gaining the ability would be, much higher even if he didn't meets the condition of being both physically and mentally exhausted. And the chances of him being able to use his ability more than five times are not low as well" Matt explained

"Why? Why would it happen like that?" Rose asked unable to contain her anger and surprise.

"Yeah! You fu-."
