"I don't think I could forgive you as well Matt" Susan said

"It's fine, you have the right to be angry just take these with you" Matt said as he took out two bags that were filled with the meat of Level 2 beasts.

"This is...?" Rose asked.

"It's those beasts meat, make sure that you feed your family with it at least once so that f the virus spreads to humans than your family doesn't get infected while the rest is for you three to try and increase your spirit so that you can use your ability more than just 5 times" Matt explained

Both the girls were silent but they did took the bags of meat from Matt as even though they were a little mad at Matt for their own reasons they cared for their family and the chances that the new virus can be cured with the meat of the mutated beast were high so they took it for their family.

"How are you going to go back?" asked Rose, "I can drop you! You know"

"No, it's alright I want to go by myself" Matt replied rejecting the Rose's offer.

"Ok, then stay safe" Rose said as she walked towards her car, Mike had already taken his bike whn he stormed off, so Rose would drop Susan off firstthen go back home.

Susan hugged Matt and said "I understand that you wanted to help us to gain strength to protect ourselves but I am mad at you because there is still something that you are hiding from us and I am not happy about it, so until you tell me the whole truth I am gonna stay mad okay"

Matt's eyes almost p.o.o.ped up when he heard Susan's words 'Do girls really have such sharp intution or is this the ability she gained' he thought.

Before Matt could say anything to Susan she let go of him and entered the pa.s.senger seat with Rose after which the two of them left.

"Well! looks like Susan still loves me. This may be worke in my benifit" Matt mumbled as he started to run towards Brooklyn.

From Manhatten to Brooklyn it takes 18 minutes by a car and 30-35 minutes by subway the distance in total is 18 miles and Matt wanted to cover the whole distance by running and that too within 20 minutes no less.

Now in normal circ.u.mstances it was impossible for Matt to do that but with 18 points in his vitality and 19 points in both strength and agility he had the speed and stamina to cover the distance of 18 miles within 20 minutes.

20 minutes later Matt was huffing and puffing drecnched in his sweat standing in front of his house.

"Huff.... Huff..... Fu*k I pushed myself too hard.... huff..... and I don't think i still.. huff.... would gain any ability after going all this" Matt said

*ding dong* After taking few deep breaths he rang the doorbell of his house and waited for someone to open it.

The door opened and Matt saw the person he hasn't seen for more than an entire decade, his older sister Mary Smith who became Mary White after her marriage with his brohter-in-law Paul White. She was a 26 year old women with black hair and delicate features, anyone would say she was a beautiful women but no one woud belive that she was a mother of two 4 year old childs. All of that because she married at the young age of 21 because she fell in love with a man and bore twin childs at the age of 22.

"Sis?" was the only word came out from Matt's mouth as he choked on and couldn't speak any further, he had to close his eyes to force stop himself from crying.

"Oh! My G.o.d Matt you are here!?" Mary exclaimed in surprise as she hugged her little brother.

"Yes I am. But how are you here?" Matt asked after regaining his composure as he hugged back his sister.

"Well of course I had to come. Do you know how much the kids missed their grandparents. Even thought we lived in New York we couldn't come to meet mom and dad because of the Lockdown, hence the moment it was over everyone packed there bags and came here. Even Paul is here with us" Mary said

"Brother-in-law is here as well?" asked Matt is surprise.

"Oh! my son is here" before Mary could reply to Matt another voice was heard from behind Mary a middle aged women came from behind her walking fast towards the two of them and hugged Matt tightly.

"Oh my son I thought you will stay back in Montana to study and won't be coming back" said Maria Smith mother of Matt and Mary.

Matt hugged her back and said "I never said that I won't be coming back mom, I didn't came earlier because I had some work to do that's all"

"He he he he..... that's nice now my whole family is here" Maria said pulling her daughter and son inside.

There house had two floors, two rooms on each floor, one bathroom at each floor. It was hard to find such a big house in brooklyn right now at a reasonable price luckily Matt's grandfather was an intelligent man and bought this house early on saving a lot of money for him and his family. Matt would have easliy lived a happy life there if it wasn't for the upcoming Apocalypse.

"Matt! You finally came, come help me take care of your nephew and niece" said a man in his late twenties who was none other than his brother-in-law Paul White.

Matt personally liked Paul as he was one of the guys that didn't shrik away from taking risk as when he mariied his sister he started his company from the scartch. Some may say that it was a idiotic move when he just started a new life with his other half but he proved them wrong by making his business successful with 4 years.
