Seeing that Matt wasn't joking they didn't argued with him and after taking the Machete from Natasha, Drake started to skin the wolf.

While Natasha walked towards Matt with bright eyes as she looked at the little bear cub "Aww!! It's so cute!"

Than before Matt could say anything Natasha started to scratch it's head making the the bear snuggle into Matt's embrace.

"You know! how to take care of a bear!?" asked Matt in surprised as when he tried it there wasn't that much reaction from the bear cub.

"NO! but I did had a dog at my house in Texas who loved to be scratched behind its ear when it was alive" Natasha said, "What are you going to do with it!?"

"What else I will have to raise it in her mother's place!?" Matt replied.

"Do you even know how to take care of a pet let alone a bear!?" Natasha asked

"No, but there is internet for that! I am pretty sure it knows how to take care of bear" Matt replied.

"Umm..... don't the bear generally have 2 to 3 cubs" Sarah asked.

"You are right but I only found this one!" Matt replied.

"Than the other one must be somewhere near, since Matt has taken one I will take care of the other" said Natasha as she walked behind the bushes to look for the other cub and she actually found one.

Natasha picked up the bear cub and said "See this one was sleeping right here!"

Matt knew that the other cub if alive was somewhere near but he didn't had the time to look for the other cub as the others already came and since he didn't think he would be able to keep feeding the two bear cubs for the next 42 days before the apocalypse starts.

"Keep in mind that these bear cubs will mutate so it won't be satisfied easily." Matt stated to make sure that Natasha understands the responsibility of taking one such bear, "And after Mutation it's not necessary that it won't attack you. Unlike dogs who remain loyal even after mutation you can't tell if the other pets will stay loyal to you or not"

"You are taking care of one don't you! Just stay in contact with me to tell me how to take care of bear" Natasha stated.

"All right just take care of it properly and if you have any problems than you can call me!" Matt said as he looked at his own Grizzly Bear cub and said "What about you little guy!? Wanna come with me!"

The bear cub just remained silent and didn't answered to Matt but since he didn't showed any reaction and his feelings were already neutral towards him, Matt decided to just take him with himself.

By this time everyone had kept as much meat as they could in their bags.

"You girls should also fill your bags with the meat after which we all will move forward" Matt said

Natasha and Sarah did as Matt said and started filling therebag but while they were doing so, the bear cub Natasha was holding woke up from the smell of the meat and started to look around it.

"Hey cutie you woke up!" Natasha said than she saw that the bear cub was looking at the piece of meat she was holding with bright eyes.

"Oh! you want this do you here!" Natasha said as she tried to give the meat to the bear cub but before she could do that Matt stopped her.

"Natasha wait!" Matt said, "That meat is pretty high level and after eating it that bear won't like any low level animals meat since it's only a cub taste matters to it more than health"

"Than What should I do!?" Natasha asked

"Here give this meat to her it should be enough to fill her up! After we get out of here I will parsal some meat to you so that you can take care of it for some time but after it evolves once or twice than you should take him with you to hunt other animals if you wanna bond with him" Matt said as he pa.s.sed some Level 1 monkey meat to Natasha.

"Thanks Matt" the others specially Drake, Dorothy and Kimberly were jealous as they also wanted an animal that could guard them but they were also scared that it may attack them instead of protecting them hence they didn't even thought of buying a dog.

"Ok you guys move forward and I will follow you" Matt said and since they all had their bags full they didn't wanted to stay close to so many dead bodies of animals and followed Natasha who had now pa.s.sed her rife to Jim so that she could hold onto the bear cub.

After they walked away Matt stored all the bodies of the wolves in his inventory leaving only the dead Grizzly Bear alone.

"Now what do you think I should do with her little guy!?" asked Matt, "If I leave her here than the other animals will eat it and if I take her with me than I can bury her if you want but even though only a Level 1 grizzly bear it will may be helpful in increasing the chances of getting an ability."

The Grizzly bear cub looked at Matt than at his mother bear but didn't respond at all.

"Aaahh fine I will just use the wolf meat and black bears meat to force them into gaining an ability even if I have to exhaust them for it" saying so Matt also kept the body in his inventory and looked at the bear cub, "I will bury her body and you will be there with me to pay your respects"

Matt wasn't sure if the little guy understood what he meant because as of now the little guys brain was at most around the age of 3 or 4 year old kid so he may not understand much but with time Matt knew he will.

"Let's go and move forward I don't think any of you wanna stay here in this Forest!"
