"Appraise!" Matt said wanting to use his newly gained appraisal skill on the little grizzly Bear

Matt raised his eyebrow as he didn't knew that the appraisal skill also told the feeling of the mutated animal towards him as well but than he saw that the Grizzly Bear cub was afraid of him and he didn't know what to do with him until an idea generated in his mind.

"Hey little guy!" Matt said as he crouched down to look at the Grizzly Bear cub closely who was trying to get away from him.

"Don't be scared! I won't hurt you. I am sorry I didn't know that she was a mother otherwise I wouldn't have killed her..... Ok I may have if she attacked me but I wouldn't have actively tried to kill belive me" Matt said but the Grizzly bear cub didn't understood a thing.

"Yeah I forgot that you are just a normal cub!" than he had another idea, "Wait a minute" he took a out a piece of meat of a Level 1 Monkey beast and pushed it towards the Grizzly bear cub.

"I know you usually eat deer meat but I don't have any of that so you will have to eat it" Matt said.

The Grizzly Bear sniffed the meat once and his eyes started to s.h.i.+ne and he hurriedly took the meat from Matt's hand he started to eat it without stopping.

Matt smiled seeing this and caressed the head of the Grizzly bear cub and surprisingly the cub didn't s.h.i.+rk from it maybe because it was eating the delicious meat that he didn't cared about it.

Matt thought that after eating the piece of Meat of a Level 1 mutated Monkey the Bear cub would let his guard but he didn't expect the little guy to evolve.

"What the fu*k!! It's just 5 months old so where is the mutation coming from!?" Matt said

[The Level 1 meat helps to evolve faster, doesn't matter if the animal is a day old or 5 months old]

Matt became vigilant as he didn't wanted get attacked by a newly mutated grizzly bear but he was shocked that the even after the mutation the Grizzly bear cubs size didn't increased and stayed the same.

"System What happened!?" Matt asked from his system as he was sure that the Grizzly bear cubs size would increase.

[Grizzly Bear Cub is only 5 months old that came out of hibernation with its mother, it's not necessary that it's size will increase first even after mutation as in some cases age is also an important factor. Newly borned animals who Mutate may have their other factors affected such as defence, speed or offence before their size]

Hearing that Matt once again used Appraise on the Grizzly bear cub.

[Mutated Level 0 Grizzly Bear Cub

"It just got three skills one of which shouldn't have been possible as Grizzly bear aren't that fast but it looks like his speed must have increased instead of his size otherwise Dash wasn't possible for him" Matt said as he did see pokemon when he was little so he knew what dash ment.

"Hey Little Guy now that you have evolved I know you will be able to understand me. So what I was trying to say earlier was that I am sorry that I killed your mother. But please believe me when I say that I wouldn't have attacked her if I knew that she was just protecting her cub, as I am not an animal..." the moment Matt said about him not being an animal the Grizzly Bear looked at him differently.

"OK, That came out wrong. I wasn't using it as a curse or anything.... let's just say I am sorry ok. And to prove that I am, I promise to take care of you instead of your mother and get you out of this dreadful forest that can kill you any moment" Matt said before he could get the answer from the cub Matt heard someone calling him.

"Matt!!" Natasha called out as she followed by the others came to find Matt only to find the dead bodies of wolves and a giant as Grizzly Bear.

"Natasha! Everyone!? Didn't I said not to move around in the forest" Matt said as he stood up from behind the bushes where he was sitting.

"Ahh!! Matt your shoulder!" before Natasha could say anything her and Sarah's eyes landed on his shoulder and they shouted at once.

"Ah! Yes I didn't got scratch free from the battle royale but it's still better than the others, by the way Sarah would you mind healing me it's f.u.c.king painfull" Matt said although the bleeding hasn't stopped at all but due to Matt's higher than normal vitality he was still fine.

"Yes! Yes!" Sarah said as she ran towards Matt and started healing Matt's shoulder.

Within minutes Matt's shoulder stopped bleeding and his would closed up but it looked like Sarah used more than one try to heal his wound as it was much more serious than any of Jim's wound.

"After the wound was healed matt stopped Sarah and said "We should leave the other three for emergency and try to restore your energy by eating some meat. There are so many animals body here try to take as much meat as you can carry for yourself and your family u0026 friends" Matt said

"Great I will start skinning the Bear!" Drake said.

"No! No one touches the bear's body" Matt ordered.

"What!? Why didn't you said it would be better if we eat the meat of a stronger mutated animal!?" asked Dorothy

Matt sighed and picked up the the Grizzly bear cub from behind the bushes and said "The was the mother, who was just trying to protect it's cub and I won't let you skin her in front of him and more importantly it's level is below than some of the wolves, so you should go for the wolves instead"

"You are kidding right!?" Drake asked in shock as he couldn't believe what Matt just said.

"No I am not, the bear would have died before killing them all if I wasn't helping t from the sidelines by distracting the wolf from time to time allowing her to land a lethal blow"
