Chapter 327 - Revenge 328: The Ridiculous Plan

"So what are we gonna do now, brother? We can't just stay still and do nothing while our grandfather is stressing over the jewel in our hands." Anna said worriedly. Her grandfather might be considered as someone who is stronger than any elders of his age, however, her grandfather is still at the age where he cannot withstand such stress or shocking events.

She and her brother must do something about their uncle James, fast. If they don't, it's not only gonna harm their grandfather, it is also going to harm the whole member of the Coleman family.

After hearing his sister's question, Aaron is in his thoughts. Thinking about a way to fix the problem they have created.

"How about I sacrifice myself to get us some evidence that uncle is plotting against that family," Aaron suggested.

"What? That is the most ridiculous plan I've ever heard, brother." Anna said with an annoyed tone hinted on her voice. Her goal in this lifetime is to make sure that her family survives the harsh things will about to come, but her brother's plan is the exact opposite of her goal.

"No, no, no. You misunderstood me. I'm not saying that I should die to get our evidence against our uncle." Aaron said as he is shaking his head. "What I'm saying is that I should tell grandfather that it would be better for me to have a change of pace in training. Meaning, I should be training under our uncle's care."

Aaron is not confident enough to know that this plan would work for them, but at the moment, they have no other choice. They have to use whatever they have in mind because they already have enough problems at hand.

A much dangerous foe than their uncle James.

"Brother, that might a good idea, however, it is too risky. What if uncle James does something to you while you do what you need to do?" Anna asked. She is not going to deny that she is tempted to use her brother's plan, but the risk level that is in her mind is too much. She is afraid that something might go wrong and she could not do anything about it.

Between her brother's life and the plan, Anna will always pick her brother. She can always think of a way to bring down her uncle. She is not going to risk anything that will harm her brother. Never.

"Anna, I have skills that uncle James doesn't have. I might get hurt, but I am confident that I am not going to die." The skills that Aaron is talking about is the skills that he learned from the underworld organization that his family is running.

Marcus' trust in James might be on a higher level, however, James still has no idea that the Coleman family is running an organization that is in some ways against the law. On some level, Marcus' doesn't trust James that much.

If Marcus were to tell James about the organization, it is sure that James' target will be not the Coleman business anymore, it will the organization itself. With the organization in his hands, James can do anything he wants.

Anna stared at her brother for a while, and then she sighed. Seeing that her brother already made up his mind, there is nothing she can do about it. The only she could is to hope that nothing serious will happen to him because if it does happen, Anna swears that her uncle James will pay for it dearly.

"Fine. Do what you must do. But you have to tell everything that you will find later on. Don't hide anything from me, brother. We both are in this together." Anna said seriously to her brother.

A light smile appeared on Aaron's face. "Of course. Hiding something from you would be the most stupid thing I would ever do, sister."

"I heard you were searching for me, father," Arion said politely. Arion stared at his father and noticed that his father's hair has completely turned white. Before he left years ago, he remembered that his father's hair still has a lot of black hair.

His father's white hair is only reminding him of the stupid decision that he made and how much he needs to pay for those he left for all these years. 'I have a lot of debts that need to be paid.' Arion inwardly noted to himself.

"Yes." Marcus noticed which part is his son is staring at his being, and he could not help but grumble about it inwardly. He knows that he is getting old, but there is no need for his son to remind him of that. "Our family heirloom has gone missing."

Arion was sipping on the tea that Tess served to him when he heard what his father just said. He almost spits out the liquid in his mouth. After calming himself down, he stared at his father, waiting for him to say that he is joking.

However, no matter how minutes he waited, his father is not saying that he is joking. With that, Arion is having a hard time believing the information that he just received.

"How? How on earth did that happen? Father, the old mansion may be old, but its security is top-notch. How can someone steal a jewel from that mansion?" Before Arion left, he deliberately left the family heirloom inside the old mansion because of its tight security. And if someone did steal something from that mansion, that someone will be caught in a security camera that is all over the mansion.

"I don't know how they did it, but I'm sure that the person who did this is not only good at stealing, that person is also good at deleting camera footage. I can't even trace it back." Marcus knows that it's not the right time to impressed with someone who stole from him, but he could not help it when that specific person is as good as Leonardo Vendallin is.

"Well, we have to find that person! I can't believe this is happening." Arion suddenly felt his blood rus.h.i.+ng into his head. He is so annoyed to the point he might not be able to control himself. "No one is allowed to steal from us without having a consequence from it." He coldly added.

"That is the plan, Master Arion," Tess commented.

While they are conversing on how they should catch the thief of their family heirloom, someone suddenly barged inside the room. And that someone is none other than James. "Father! Our family heirloom is missing?!"
