"Father! Our family heirloom is missing?!" It's clear on James's look that he is still in shock that the object he has been eyeing for had been stolen by someone.

His focus is all about the family heirloom that he did not notice that the brother he has been jealous of since young is still actually alive and is sitting across his father.

James didn't wait for his father to reply and just walked his way in front of him. James put his grip on both of his father's should and ask him the same question again. "Father, is the family heirloom really missing from the old mansion?"

Just like Arion earlier, James is waiting for his father to say that he is joking, however, the look on his father's face is enough to know that he is not joking about the family heirloom.

Feeling a little bit unhappy that his older brother didn't notice his presence, Arion decided to speak and let James know that he is here in the room. "Big brother, you are being too rude on our father. You should not be holding him like that." He said in a serious manner.

James heard Arion's voice, and he felt s.h.i.+vers down to his very spine. He knows Arion's voice too well. That is the same voice that he resented to the core. Shock and scared, James is having second thoughts on turning around to see the owner of the voice he just heard.

Seeing that his brother is refusing to face him, Arion spoke again, "Big brother, is that how you treat your little brother now? That is not very nice of you, big brother."

Slowly turning around, James' eyes turned completely round. He cannot believe what he is seeing right now. The person he thought that is not around anymore is back. This person is the same person that he hates the most, the same person who stole what is right to him.

"Arion, I, I can't. T-this is too much." Jame is speechless, utterly speechless. 

In Marcus' point of view, he thinks that his son, James, is speechless because his brother is back and he is happy about it. However, in Arion's point of view, he thinks the opposite of what his father is thinking. His brother is not happy to see him. He can see it in James' eyes.

For a long since their father announced that Arion the heir of their family. Arion can sense the hatred his older brother is giving to him. For a long time, Arion decided to turn into a blind eye about it, however, for some reason, he can't get rid of the feeling that his older brother is the one who stole the jewel and is acting right now.

'Brother, if you're planning to take away what belongs to my son, then don't blame me if I burry you down to the very bottom of the earth.' Arion inwardly said.

"Master James, you should take a seat. You're too shocked to be standing like that." Tess said in a concerning tone. Since she has been with Arion and James for a long time now, Tess can sense that James is not entirely happy to see Arion.

She has no idea what is really going, but as someone who watched the two brothers grow up, she knows when there is something wrong going between them.

"Yes. Nanny Tess is right, brother. You shouldn't be standing like that if you're too shocked to see me alive and well."

James knows the real translation to what his brother just to him, 'Are you disappointed to see me alive and well, brother?'

James s.h.i.+vered at the thought that his little brother knows what he has been planning for a long time now. He only hopes that Arion is only suspecting him because if he is, James will have the chance to erase the suspicion he has on Arion.

"T-thanks Nanny Tess." He replied. After sitting down, he turned quiet for quite some time, he is collecting his thought. He cannot make a comment on Arion while he is in shock and anger is rising on him.

He has to play his car well if he wants to make Arion speechless like he is earlier.

"So, brother, where have you been all these years?! Don't you know how much your wife has suffered while you were gone?" The way James sounded right now is like an older brother who is very dissapointed with his little brother. But Arion cannot be fooled by such a sentence, his guts are telling him that James is only acting and he is going to believe his guts.

"Brother, where I have been, is something I cannot share with you, but about my wife, I know too well that she has suffered all alone. I know that and I also know that I am at fault at what happened to her." If his brother is going to make him feel down, then that is not going to happen because right now, he has hardened his heart to whatever verbal attack may his brother say to him.

"Cannot share with me? Arion! I am your brother, we are family! I deserve to know where my little brother has fooled around all this time!" Currently, James's plan is to make Arion look like a bad guy in front of his father and Nanny Tess.

"You think that I fooled around? Heh. That is sure a strong accusation towards me, big brother." Arion can' help but scoffed at the person who is acting like a good older brother. "Big brother, I am disappointed that you think of me that way. You know me better than that, after all, I am your brother, your family."

Arion pressed on the word "family", he is purposely reminding James that he should not betray the family or else the consequences will not be a good one. Since James is James, Arion is sure that James understood the message that he is trying to say.

"Arion, I know you are my brother, however, people change and I am not even sure if you are the same brother that I used to know." Without a doubt, Arion's suspicion towards him is sure is deep and currently cannot do anything about it. With that thought, James is currently screaming in frustration on the inside.

The sentence that James just said made Marcus frown. Clearly, he is displeased by what his oldest son just said. "James, do not accuse your brother like that. There are things that you do not know and you should not say something you have no idea about."
