Mi Rong would accompany grandma Feng with her different activities, then she would tuck grandma Feng to bed early.

It was not a serious job to do and was more of relaxation to Mi Rong from all her 'work'. Xiao Bai had finally come back from his 'task' a few days ago and was Mi Rong's right hand in taking care of Grandma Feng.

After taking care of grandma Feng, she would help Qing Qing out with some of her homework and enjoy time watching Qing Qing's favourite programs together. Qing Qing would always fall asleep fast, although she had been waiting for her dad to come back home.

Jun Kai was mostly not at home. Whenever Mi Rong woke up or went to bed, he was never in sight.

However, there was one time, she had seen him, but he looked very tired and worn out. Dark shadows were becoming more visible under his eyes. Nevertheless, it was only for a brief moment.

Mi Rong began to wonder what he was so busy about.

At the very moment, like always, she was patting Qing Qing's head to bed, while she thought of the missing person from this house. Xiao Bai seemed to be aware of her change of emotions, so he decided to tease her as she had been daydreaming these past few days.

"Thinking of someone?"

Mi Rong's eyes were awakened, "Huh? What? No."

"Tut tut, Xiao Rong you can't really hide anything from me."

"Don't call me like I'm your grandchild."

"Hey!"

"Oops, I forgot you're not that old."

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Xiao Bai rolled his eyes.

Mi Rong then changed topics, "How's everything going with the auction?"

"You're the boss, you should know about it."

"I meant how's your part going on? Did you find the people who are joining this year?"

"Yep, and you? Did you prepare yourself to join this auction?"

"I'm always prepared."

"Well, that's good. There's going to be some pretty horrible people coming this time. Also, Qing Qing's father is also going to be there, but did you really need to choose to announce to the whole world that you've got one of the riskiest things in our possession?"

"The riskier the more information we'll gain about the location to the spellbook and the person behind the car explosion. I've got a feeling that they have some connections with each other. We'll finally be able to find the person trying to destroy our plans every single time. Besides, it's time for them to come out from the dark." Mi Rong shrugged.

"But it didn't have to be the thousand year weapon that was buried under the forbidden palace and it was placed there way before the palace was even built." It was an ancient weapon called Ling Bao which was used as a very dangerous explosive made before China had first founded gunpowder. Legend says that it could blow up a person from the body and scatter one's soul. It had been lost and kept under the deepest place where no man had ever been to.

It was thought to be lost, until one day Mi Rong had found a treasure map that had hinted the place where it was. Xiao Bai was the only one who knew where it was.

Xiao Bai alone had gone down to retrieve this special item alone. He had volunteered himself because he had explained that it was too risky for any man to retrieve it, even Mi Rong.

At first, Mi Rong strongly disagreed, but because of Xiao Bai's stubbornness, she could not do anything about it, but n.o.body would have known that he had another plan for the weapon.

However, she wasn't planning to sell it out, but it would only be the first bait for the culprit to finally appear themselves. Also, that person was also going to be attending the auction as well.

"Ahuh, I know. But I wonder if the person behind the car crash would also appear since they used a very ancient gun to shoot the bus and caused the explosion."

"How are you so sure that that person will come?"

"Well, I've got things under my sleeves, don't you worry."

Xiao Bai wanted to test the waters and decided to ask, "But why do you even have to find this person anyway, it's not like you've got any relations to this family."

"Because it's Qing Qing's mother and I don't want to be suspicious in killing her mother."

"I think I better take Qing Qing to bed now."

In the headquarters of the Feng trading corporation, a person dressed in a dark blue navy suit was monitoring a screen closely.

"Sir, are you alright?"

"Hm? Oh, what were you saying?"

Lin Cheng had been explaining all the details about the upcoming auction held by the Xuan enterprise (*Mi Rong's company). These past few days they had been preparing as much information that they could find and were setting up many different plans to make the leader come out from his or her hiding place.

They had received some news that the leader would be joining this year's auction and the chairman a.k.a Jun Kai's father wanted to expand his connection with the Xuan enterprise as they were fast with their job but particularly it was because information about nearly every other companies was held in the Xuan group's possessions as they had been doing business with many different companies.

As Jun Kai's father was also a businessman, he had wanted to further reach out to this particular company. However, the only reason Jun Kai had wanted to reach out to them and accepted this job was only because he had wanted to find the culprit to his wife's death. He believed they would be able to work much better than any other places once they receive an order.

Jun Kai had been waiting an entire year for this auction to be held and to finally make a negotiation with the leader. After all his patience, the time had finally come and in two weeks time, it would be the beginning of the auction of the Xuan enterprise.

He had been coming in and out of the headquarters throughout the whole week and would always come back home late. From time to time, he would monitor the micro CCTV camera that was installed in nearly every room in the house except the private places.

A moment ago he had been watching as Mi Rong took the sleeping Qing Qing away to bed from the TV room. Poor Lin Cheng who had to repeat every detail that he had said to his boss.

Little did Lin Cheng know that only a quarter went into Jun Kai's brain as his focus was mainly at the screen in front of him. His thoughts began drifting to when he went to the doctor's place a few days ago when he took Mi Rong's hair and his wife's hair to check the result.

However, he was very disappointed as it had not come out as he had expected.

Sigh, all the clues he came close to had always been a failure. He could only hope that things would work out with the Xuan enterprise.
