Sitting down a few meters away from Elder Song, Xuan Hao no longer paid too much attention to him as he began merging the cloud and his nascent soul together.

From what Xuan Hao had experienced in the past, this process would at least take a few hours. Maybe it would even end up taking a few days if he was struggling with the merging process!

The longer it took, the more dangerous it would become for the one currently undergoing the cloud tribulation. After all, the soul did not have an infinite amount of strength and could only endure the merging process for so long

Xuan Hao could clearly feel that Elder Song would take longer than normal to complete the cloud tribulation and successfully reach the Nascent Soul Realm.

This was most likely due to the fact that his cloud tribulation had a few tints of gold around the edges. Making it stronger than the silver cloud tribulation that Chi Hu had encountered when he reached the Nascent Soul Realm.

"Maybe it was due to the purification pill strengthening his soul?"

Muttering this to himself as he looked over at Elder Song who was fully concentrated at making it through the cloud tribulation, Xuan Hao could clearly see his aura slowly growing stronger and stronger as he managed to successfully merge more and more of the cloud together with his newly born nascent soul.

Time slowly passed inside of Elder Song's personal quarters, as Xuan Hao kept an eye on him during his breakthrough.

After a long 10 hours of enduring the cloud tribulation, Elder Song's aura began to grow at a terrifying rate before slowly calming down and beginning to stabilize.

"Congratulations on breaking through and reaching the Nascent Soul Realm!"

Slowly opening his eyes with a tired look on his face, the first thing Elder Song heard was the voice of Xuan Hao echoing out just beside him as he quickly realized that he had been sitting a few meters away from him this entire time.

"Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity Elder Xuan! I will forever remember your help! If you ever need my help, you can just inform me, and I will do my best to try and help you!"

Doing a full ninety-degree bow, Elder Song expressed his utmost sincerity as he said this to Xuan Hao.

"Haha, you don't need to mention it Elder Song, we are both from the same sect and I'm not sure how well the Flying Sword Sect would function without your constant help"

Laughing it off as he said this, Xuan Hao felt that there was nothing wrong with what he did.

Elder Song could be considered extremely important for keeping the Flying Sword Sect running on a daily basis If he suddenly disappeared all of a sudden, Xuan Hao was certain he would not be able to keep up his peaceful life of not having to help out the Flying Sword Sect in the more mundane things like resource management, deployment of different inner and outer elders to protect the interest of the Flying Sword Sect and so on

Having to help protect the Flying Sword Sect and his disciples from danger every now and then, was more than enough for him

"I understand But if there is anything, remember to find me!"

"Okay! I will be sure to find you if there is anything in the future!"

Seeing the determined expression on Elder Song's face, Xuan Hao accepted his kind intentions.

"I will just be going back for now, seeing as you managed to successfully breakthrough and reach the Nascent Soul Realm. You will most likely also need a few days to familiarize yourself with your current realm and stabilize it, I will inform the Feng Chen about this and have him take care of your work over the next few days!"

Before Elder Song could say anything to refute Xuan Hao, he had already disappeared from his courtyard and was making his way over towards the pavilion of the sect master.

He knew very well that Elder Song would not agree to someone taking over his work, even if it was just for a few days while he rested and sorted out his cultivation base.

With this in mind, Xuan Hao did not even give him an opportunity to refuse as he left directly after saying it.

"Hah Looks like I will be spending the next few days at home" Muttering this to himself in a quiet voice as he looked towards the door that Xuan Hao had left through, Elder Song once again sat down and slowly began to inspect the changes in his dantian along with his newfound strength.

Most importantly, the condition of his body after breaking through

Before, he was close to the end of his lifespan and that could be seen from his aging body growing worse and worse with each passing month.

After breaking through, Elder Song still looked the same, but there was a stark difference from before as his skin seemed to have regained their former lustre and energy.

All it would take was a single thought and he could recover his former younger looks

"I will just stay the same Or those children will surely be scared upon seeing me change so much all of a sudden! Haha."

Laughing to himself at the thought of the disciple's reaction if he suddenly looked the same age as them, Elder Song shook his head a bit.

No matter how bad some people viewed looking old as, Elder Song understood that one of the main reasons why he was so respected by the younger generation of the Flying Sword Sect, was due to the fact that he looked like a wise elder that had experienced life

Smiling widely while thinking about some of the disciples he had taught in the past, Elder Song closed both of his eyes and began focusing on stabilizing his cultivation base.
