"guess what I saw yesterday?" Staff A said to staff B.

"either you caught who and who together or you saw some celebrity" Staff B guess.

"whahaha.. so clever. I saw the Linda and Terry together"

"what so special about seeing them together. They always together openly in the past"

"don't you feel that recently they didn't appear openly and yesterday I saw Terry come to pickup Linda and you know that b.i.t.c.h, cling on to him once she hops in the car."

Mixue's heart sank when she heard them talking. He missed their date because he was with Linda and he didn't respond to all the call is also because of her. So what is she now? are they patching things up or is he ditching her? she want to hear from him.

"h.e.l.lo, can we talk?" Mixue holding on to her anger

"there nothing to talk about. I always messenger you and you randomly replied me? Now you want to talk?" Terry hang up the call.

Mixue was loss. What is happening? Did he just dump me and who I am to him? She wants to know what is happening. She is losing her mind. She need to know the reason, she need to see him.

On the way to his office, Mixue saw Parker. Parker grabbed her hand and pulled her to the nearby staircase. Terry asked for his help, he promise he will tell him everything after he manage to block Mixue entering his room. Terry does not know how to face her. From what Parker heard from the phone conversation just now, he knew something serious happening. 

"Mixue, calm down" Parker holding on to Mixue's shoulders and hold her down against the wall.

"why and what is happening? Why is it my fault now? what happening between him and Linda? Why when I give myself fully to him, and all I get is his betrayal. Why must it be yesterday?" Mixue broke down crying.

Parker pulled her forward and hugged her. Her tear wet his s.h.i.+rt but he does not mind. He know she need to let go all her emotion. He just quietly hugged her and allowing her to wipe her tears on his s.h.i.+rt.

"I know you are hurt and I am equally doesn't understand what happen. Let me check with him and get back to you? if you go in now, the whole office will know about your relations.h.i.+p." Parker trying to comfort her when he feel she is calmer.

"Can you asked him to choose between me and Linda now?" Mixue said calmly like as if she suddenly forgotten what is happening. "Please..." Mixue look at Parker and beg him.

"Fine but don't make any sound later" Parker surrender. He have a soft spot for Mixue.

"bro, she knew you were with Linda yesterday, tell me you chose her or Linda?" Parker asked Terry directly.

"I have no choice. I can only be with Linda. Tell her not to appear in front of me." Terry said.

Parker hang up the phone after hearing it and he look at Mixue who is still in his embrace.

" you heard it right? What you planned to do?" Parker asked Mixue.

"I will do as he said. Don't worry about me now, I'm fine after crying. Sorry that I have wet your s.h.i.+rt and do me a favour? I would like to take a day off today, can I?" Mixue tried to force a smile on her face to give him a.s.surance.

"Fine. Promise me that you will not do anything stupid and have a good sleep and don't need to cry for a jerk." Parker said and let go of her.

Mixue took her bag and jumped into a random bus. She didn't know what bus is that and where is the bus going. She just need to be alone looking at the scenery. Her mind just went blank. After an hour of the journey, she woke up from her own world. Suddenly, she got the urges to make him regret for not chosing her. As she walked, she saw an advertis.e.m.e.nt on makeover. That it, I will go there.

As she walked in, the stylish asked for her preferences, she told the stylist that she want a makeover to let those people to dump her regret. the stylist nodded her head and bring her in and start performing magic on her. For the next 4 hours she was sitting there without looking at the mirror.

When her new look was completed, she was surprise that she actually can be so pretty. The stylist told her "you must have confidence in yourself and must live better than those who look down on you. Chin up, my girl"
