She also realise that her deployment today is much lighter compare to other days and it all the arrangement from Parker.

"want to call him and cut the cake together?" Parker asked.

"nah, I think he is not here yet. Let not wait for him and leave him a slice later" Mixue was touch by Parker arrangement and is her first time celebrating birthday at work. She does not want other people to wait. She quickly cut the cake and distribute to the rest of the colleagues and returned to Parker.

"thank you so much. You have enough time? Let eat together" Mixue asking Parker.

"don't tell me that you didn't tell him that is your 21stbirthday today?" Parker speak after taking a bite of the cake.

"not all the things need to say. Like I didn't tell you about it and you knew. Get what I mean?" Mixue say quietly without showing much expression.

"if everyone like you then there will not be any disrupt, luckily I have my plan. Don't need to thanks me for that." he laughed at Mixue. Parker took the slice of cake onto a new plate and place the chocolate greeting on top of the cake. "I will help you to pa.s.s to him later, go do your work"

'so fast chase me back to work?" Mixue reluctantly start cleaning up the place.

Both of them just walked toward different direction. When Parker went back to his office, he took out his phone to send Terry a photo of the cake. The Chocolate greeting wrote "Happy 21st Birthday Mixue".

"Bro, today is her birthday, why didn't you tell me" Terry called Parker.

"She is your girl, shouldn't you pay more attention to her? spoken to her earlier, she does not have any plan later. I can only help you till here" Parker shake his head.

"ok thanks bro, own you one meal" Terry put down the phone and called Mixue.

"Xue, after work do you have any plan? I come and pick you up?"

"where do you want to go? after s.h.i.+ft and before your s.h.i.+ft we only have 4 hours. Enough time?" Mixue worried more on the time wasted on travelling.

"I see you later at the car park "Terry said cheerfully.

"ok, see you later" she knew that he will not tell her anything like before.

1 hour before Mixue s.h.i.+ft end, Parker asked Mixue to end her s.h.i.+ft earlier. He saw Terry was at the carpark when he went and pick up his stuff from his car. He though that Terry is here to pick up Mixue and she stuck in her overtime. Parker winked at Mixue, so she just packed her bag and go down to Carpark level to wait for Terry. She called Terry wanted to ask for the location so that she can go over directly, but he didn't pick up the call.

After waiting for 2 hours, 1 hour pa.s.sed the arranged time, Mixue had called him 8 times but all were unanswered. She is worried and called Parker.

"Hi Parker, I need your help. Can you help to call Terry and see what is going on with him?"

"he was at the carpark when end your s.h.i.+ft. You didn't saw him" Parker was puzzle.

"No. We suppose to meet at 1pm but now is already 2 pm. I couldn't reach him"

"are you still at carpark?"

"yes"

"I go over and we talk"

Parker when down to the carpark and saw Mixue was sitting at the bench. He approached her and asked her in detail. Mixue also get to know that Terry was at the carpark 2 hours ago.

"my s.h.i.+ft is ending. I send you back. if I receive any news about him, I will let you know."

Mixue is so thankful to Parker helps. For the whole day, Mixue didn't hear from him and understand from Parker that he took urgent leave and he didn't turn up at work too.
