Chapter 202 - The Information..

Jacob did not give a second glance to the red headed doctor and turned his head back to look at the elderly doctor again.

"Ohk! Also, doctor, I wish to ask you a few more things. Is this procedure painful for the lady, who undergoes it? I mean, I don't want to hurt anybody for my selfish reasons!" Jacob pursed his lips.

"Ahh!! No! It is a painless procedure. You dont even feel the needle entering you. Even when you make out, you feel something. But in this procedure, needle is so thin, that you do not feel it entering your v.a.g.i.n.al cavity. Besides their is no skin to be pierced, so no blood loss or pain." The doctor smiled warmly, hearing the boy's caring question.

"Ohk!! Also, who takes care of the pregnant lady? I mean if she is from a poor family then how does she provide the nutrition to the baby. Or what if she smokes or drinks?!" Jacob asked in confusion.

"Ohh!! We have a seperate section in our hospital wing, for surrogacy mothers to reside. After they are done with the process, they sign a contract with the hospital, to reside inside the wing, till they deliver the baby. They eat as per our nutritionists suggestion and their are nurses to take care of them. We have all comfort and care for them too. The payment has to be done by you for that purpose, in advance. After the procedure is done, you pay us in advance and if the lady fails to concieve we demand another visit from you, or we return the money!" The doctor explained everything calmly, as if it was her daily job.

"Ohh!! That is prefect. I guess all my questions are answered then!" Jacob smiled feeling a bit satisfied.

"So do you have somebody for surrogacy or do we make you meet the willing candidates?" The doctor asked casually.

"Huh?" Jacob looked at the doctor in surprise.

"I mean, their has to be a lady to carry your baby. Do you have somebody who is willing to do that, or does the hospital introduce to the volunteers?" The doctor clarified in a more subtle way.

Jacob did not reply for a few seconds. His heart was now beating rapidly. A baby? Single parent? Am I even ready? Am I behaving too recklessly? Should I give it another thought!? Am I actually clinically depressed that is making me do such things? Should I run away or tell the doctor, that I need to come back tomorrow again.

"Jacob? What happened? Are you having second thoughts?" The doctor asked in confusion.
