Chapter 24: Angered Woman

The taxi driver started rattling off random facts about the building . “That building was constructed just five years ago and now it’s the landmark in the center of the city . It’s one of the top ten luxurious buildings in the whole world!”

Tang Siyu didn’t care about how great the building was . She just wanted her child back and wanted to know who the h.e.l.l took him away, claiming to be his biological father . What did he want from her?

Tang Siyu leaped out of the car as soon as the taxi came to a stop . She paid hastily and rushed up the stairs . Oh, how she wished she could step inside the building in one jump . She ran into the enormous hall, confused at where she needed to go next .

At that very moment, a gentle voice rang out, “I’m a.s.suming you are Miss Tang Siyu, correct?”

Tang Siyu whipped her head around and saw a handsome man in expensive suit and leather shoes smiling at her and said, “Yes, I am . ”

“Please follow me, Miss Tang . ” He said as he motioned to the elevator .

“Where is my son?” Tang Siyu interrogated him .

“Young Master is with our Boss . You don’t need to worry at all . ” a.s.sistant Han Yang opened the private elevator and beckoned her to come in .

“Who the h.e.l.l is your boss? Why did he take my son?” Tang Siyu continued pestering him .

Han Yang’s eyes widened in surprise . “Miss Tang… Could it be, you don’t know who our Boss is?”

Tang Siyu coldly glared at the a.s.sistant, “Do I need to know who he is?”

“Um, no . It’s just that there’s rarely anybody who doesn’t know him . ” Han Yang spoke embarra.s.sedly as he dragged his hand down his forehead .

Tang Siyu impatiently stared at the rapidly changing numbers on the screen inside the elevator . She couldn’t wait to take her son and get out of this uncomfortable place . ‘Ding!’ The elevator opened and Han Yang walked out into a wide corridor, politely welcoming Tang Siyu .

Han Yang looked at the girl’s angry expression and trembled with worry . He was Xing Liehan’s personal a.s.sistant so he knew all about the situation regarding an illegitimate child looking for him . However, he’d a.s.sumed that the girl was only after his Boss’ wealth so he was surprised when he saw her fl.u.s.tered and impatient expression, worrying about her child .

Han Yang pulled out his phone and called his boss, “Sir, Miss Tang is here . ”

The man’s cold voice echoed through the phone, “Take her to the lounge and wait for me there . ”

“Yes, sir!” Han Yang replied . However, just as he was about to hang up, Tang Siyu rushed forward and s.n.a.t.c.hed the phone from him . She then angrily yelled at the man on the other end, “b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Give my son back!”

There was no reply . All she could hear was the faint breathing of a man . The silence made her heart tremble . She asked once more, “Where is my son?”

Suddenly, the man cut the call . Tang Siyu almost threw the phone across the room out of frustration but stopped in the nick of time, realizing that it was hers .

Han Yang panicked internally but he maintained a calm, comforting expression as he took his phone back and smiled as he said, “Don’t Miss, our Boss will be here soon . ”

But how could Tang Siyu relax? Her blood was boiling with fury, worrying about how her son was being treated by the b.a.s.t.a.r.d . She was a mother, to her, her child was her life . So, of course, she’d be anxious about her child’s safety . Only when Little Xi was in her eyesight would she relax .
