As Ryu Long joined the people at the small table...Alicia felt as if the table had shrunk in size...What was it with this man and the lack of air he caused whenever he was around...was he a vacc.u.m??

Ryu had blocked her exit by sitting on Alicia's side.She was stuck between the wall and him..After offering a polite nod to Wan Xiao and Alicia..he started quietly eating his food.Wan Xiao quickly excused herself and with a murmur to Alicia about meeting up tonight..left the table..

This got Ryu curious and just as he was to ask,he felt a strong kick on his s.h.i.+n..Mid bite he turned to glare at his brother who had just forcefully kicked him but was now sitting there with an innocent face.

After glaring a warning at Neil,he turned back towards his plate when he felt a soft hand at his sleeve.He looked up questioningly and Alicia was staring at him..."I... uhhh.. I ummm need to go and get desserts."

"Why?"

"Because....I said I will have them when you are here..."

"Yes..you did..which is why I brought them..",Ryu then pointed towards his plate which also had a couple of cream rolls in it

Alicia's mouth fell open comically and she whispered,"You really do hate me or something!!"

"...." Bringing you desserts is hating you??Ryu looked at her as if she had lost a screw somewhere...He replied in the same tone,"How is this hating you?"

Neil,who was being ignored by his brother kicked him again under the table and said,"She is like this...whenever you do something good for her she will blame you!!"Neil shut his mouth immediately when he felt two heavy glares directed his way..Really..these two were scary...

Al,who was glaring at Neil turned her glare towards Ryu and said,"I am already being glared daggers at by your and this Neil's followers..if I were to share your food I'd be on everybody's. .h.i.t list.I am just a poor a.s.sistant who is going to get poorer tonight..I can't afford to be on a hitlist..."

Amused at her pitiful expression,Ryu wondered,"What is happening tonight?"

Neil,who had been about to steal a cream roll had his hand flicked away,answered while rubbing his hand,"She is hosting a party tonight to share her happiness over getting engaged..Bro sharing is caring ...do you not care for me anymore as he stared at Alicia who had just picked the forbidden cream roll from his brother's plate and was now happily munching on it.He had started smugly but Neil finished his dialogue with a pitiful tone.

Alicia,immediately took her chance for revenge,she grabbed the box of peanut b.u.t.ter sweet treats from Neil and said,"Yes Neil ,sharing is caring..and I thank you for your care towards me...You do seem to care..."She bit into the peanut b.u.t.ter treat and her eyes almost rolled back in appreciation..she opened her eyes when she felt a heated stare on her face..Having finished the cream rolls and half the peanut b.u.t.ter treat she put it in Ryu's plate and reaching into the box for the last treat decided to offer it to Ryu,"Would you like to try a bite?"

But he had already tried it....by picking and eating her half eaten piece..

Al:"woah..I guess you were really curious...""

Ryu: "Mmm,I've decided you taste better.."

Neil:"Ewwww...I really don't care much for dog food...Come on a.s.sistant Lu..Let's get to work.."

Al was a little fl.u.s.tered after that indirect kiss and the comment...she decided it was better to run for safety and Neil offered her the perfect escape...

Immediately getting up she returned to her professional mode as if a switch had been turned on and politely said,"Please excuse me Sir."Of course she did not expect him to just move his chair back a bit and gesture for her to pa.s.s..She would have to bruah past him.....
