Neil just smiled and continued withhis provocations,"That is where you are wrong President Hu.I can stop you from taking Alicia by proving that your intentions are not as pure as they seem.And if you think that the bribed judges will hang their necks to save you then you are merely consoling yourself.Let me a.s.sure you,that those people would throw their mothers into a river if they thought they would be saved.So you are merely a golden hen.There are many like you."

Elder Hu was not happy to hear this.His temper was about to get the better of him when suddenly,two of Hu Ge's men entered the room.Neil was not surprised to see them.Hu Ge was known as a shrewd businessman and he had most probably realized that Neil had been goading Elder Hu to make him blurt the truth.So naturally he had to make Elder Hu to be quiet.The two men went to Elder Hu,whispering something in his ear and then almost dragging them away from the room.Once the Elder was out,Hu Ge talked to the point,"So,Mr Long,I thought we were here for a negotiation.Then may I ask what you are proposing.Do not waste our time by showing us these nonsensical things and making abject remarks."

"Of course,Mr Hu.Here are the terms that my client is willing to propose."With that,Neil haded another file to Hu Ge who then opened to see the contents.Summarized,it said that the Hu's family would have supervised visitation rights and all decisions regarding little Alicia would be in the hands of Onita Dew.Additionally,Alicia Dew will be recognized as that and will not be a contender for the Hu's family properties in any way whatsoever.

"These terms are not acceptable,Mr Long.Alicia is the rightful contender for the t.i.tle of the Hu heiress.so naturally she must take the father's family name.And the visitation rights are a joke.If tomorrow Ms Onita decided to leave the country tomorrow or tries to blackmail us then our hands will be tied by the agreement.

"Mr Hu Ge,It is your family that is trying to use Alicia as a key to the treasure.Not Ms Dew.So please refraining from making such suggestions.And this is the final offer we are going to make.If you are not agreeable,then we can still meet in court."

Hu Ge said nothing for a minute but a moment later,he got up from the seat and left the room without a word,leaving Lawyer Chen to scramble from his seat and leave behind him.

After their departure only silence reined in the room.As the lawyer left,Neil just plated the food on the table and placed the plate in front of Onita who had sat silently throughout.He then put some food for himself and started eating right away.

Onita had never felt so slow in her life.She had no idea what had jut happened.She turned to Neil who was happily eating the food and her mouth fell in disbelief!They had accomplished nothing and all he wanted to do was eat!Feeling Onita's gaze on him,Neil said,"Honey,I know I am handsome but there is no need to stare.Your food is getting cold and then it will not be tasty.Eat up and then you can appreciate me as much as you can."

Onita's eyes almost rolled back into her head at the man's sheer arrogance!With a hmpf,she started eating the food.What was this man's obsession with making her eat!In the last three days,she had eaten more than the entire month combined!And Neil should atleast be as big as a buffalo with the amount of food he ingested daily.As he was sitting next to her,she tried to covertly see if he had a protruding gut or something but his stomach certainly looked flat...She almost thought she could make out the shape of well defined abs from his tight fitting s.h.i.+rt...Shaking herself and quickly glancing away in case he think that she was checking him out,Onita ate away all the food on her plate.

Finally,finis.h.i.+ng the food on her plate,she looked at Neil who was now taking second servings.Again feeling her gaze,he looked her over and seeing her plate empty tried to add some meat on her plate as well which she aggressively refused."Neil,I am full to bursting.I just want you to answer my questions."

Putting down the chopsticks,Neil turned to look at Onita and sighed,knowing that he had some explaining to do."Ask away."

"What was the purpose of today's meeting?"

"You don't start simple,do you?The purpose is met Onita.And you will understand soon.Trust me."

"Atleast give me a straight answer Neil!Fine,why was I sitting here like a piece of decoration wearing my sister's pendant?"

This question he could answer,Neil thought."I saw the pictures of you and Omaya from before.Your sister started wearing the necklace when she was pregnant.I think she was wearing this even when she came here.I recognized the necklace as a limited edition piece by a popular designer.It had a simple meaning of love for infinity.After checking the serial number and confirming that the piece was an original,I found that the buyer was indeed a Mr Hu,who had claimed that it was bought with the purpose of proposing marriage to his girlfriend.I wanted to see Hu Ge's reaction when he saw you wearing the pendant.But either he is a very good actor or he really did not recognize the piece."
