Lawyer Chen escorted Elder Hu to the hotel while Hu Ge followed.At the entrance they were stopped for a security check which infuriated the Elder causing him to curse and swear aloud for treating them lke theives.The people in the reception were all shocked to see such aggressive and lewd behavior.They looked at Elder Hu disdainfully as if he really was a thief.In reality,Elder Hu was just angry at Lawyer Chen and was thus taking out his frustration on all the people around him.He had had no intention of meeting that girl out of court and now this Lawyer whom he was paid an exorbitant fee of thousands of dollars had the gall to suggest to not fight in court.This behavior of Elder Hu made Lawyer Chen a bit frustrated.The only person indifferent to all this was Hu Ge who looked on as if he had no concern or thoughts.

Lawyer Chen then went upto the hostess and announced his name.The hostess bowed and asked them to follow her.They were soon escorted to the super VIP room which was actually reserved only for high end customers like Neil Long.Even Elder Hu was impresses with the treatment they were recieving.Once at the room,they saw Neil already seated along with Onita.Elder Hu felt his blood boil at the sight of the woman who had created so many problems for them..

Hu Ge,also paused at the door to look over the woman.She was dressed demurely in a somber black dress as if she was going for someone's funeral.The only jewellery was a chain she was wearing around her neck.The three men were guided to sit on the opposite of the round table and handed over the menus.Once the orders were placed,Elder Hu sneered at the two of them and said condescendingly,"Where is my grand daughter?Now that you have met another man,are you going to sell her to us?"

Neil,placed a hand just above Onita's knee under the table,gesturing her to not react.He had already told Onita that for today she was just supposed to sit quietly until he said otherwise.So instead of being provoked,Neil repled in a calm manner,"Elder Hu,Ms Dew's daughter is not a commodity to be sold.Secondly,please let me explain it to you,there are a few terms in the law that many of us lawyers are most familiar with and love to use it.These words are,libel,defamation and sue."

Turning to Lawyer Chen,Neil raised a hand and said,"Let Lawyer Chen explain these words to you."

Of course Elder Hu knew of these words and closed his mouth still glaring obviously.Neil then turned to ignore him and asked Hu Ge,"President Hu.You have no idea about Ms. Onita's circ.u.mstances.n.o.body's love is as great as a mother's.Certainly not a father who seduced a girl and then later refused to take responsiblity."

Elder Hu,was about to defend his son but without giving him a chance,Neil continued,"Since you were not willing to give Ms Dew a chance to share custody,we can also do the same.So I suggest that you control your tongue and let us discuss business.

The elder Hu banged the table in front of him in anger,shattering the delicate porcelein plate in front of him and hurting his hand in the process.Clutching at his bleeding hand,Elder Hu made all sorts of vows to finish Neil.The hostess hurried in with a first aid kit and cleaning the wound with cotton swabs,bandaged it tightly.The food which arrived remained untouched and before Elder Hu could say anything else,Neil had thrown a file on the table.

Lawyer Chen picked the file to read while,Hu Ge who had been quiet until now asked,"What is this?"

"Please read it."

Lawyer Chen who had already browsed answere Hu Ge,"It is the last will and testament of your grandfather who pa.s.sed away earlier this year."

Hearing this,Hu Ge s.n.a.t.c.hed the papers out if the lawyer's hand to see it for themselves.Hu Ge's hands formed a fist and he said angrily,"where did you get this and how?"

"That is not the point Mr Hu.The point is how do I unsee what I have seen?A man gets a girl pregnant,leaves her and then when she comes to him for help refuses to support her.After two years suddenly he remembers that he has a daughter and instead of trying to get to know her,tries to s.n.a.t.c.h away custody.That point was something I was unable to look over and now here is the answer to my questions.All the property that belonged to the late Mr Hu will be transferred to the grandchild who brings the first blood related child from the next generation within a year.Interesting isn't it...So while all your relatives are scrambling to find suitable partners or get pregnant,you thought why not use the one we already have.No need to wait."

Elder Hu was now frightened that their plan was going to be foiled but he was also an experienced player.Betraying nothing,he leaned back in his chair and said,"So what if you know.You have acquired these through illegal means and so cannot use it in court.Also,the will does not change the fact that Hu Ge is more suitable as a parent than this foreign piece of trash.The only way you can stop taking this child from me was by proving that she is not related by blood to me. "
