4 A Tale Of The Three Kingdoms 3

"Everything you have to do is to make sure that princess Margaret consumes this."

The disguised man suddenly pulled out a mysterious package and handed it Maze over.

"This simple task would not be to hard for you, right prince Maze?" said the disguised man mockingly.

"Y-You! How d-dare..." prince Maze did not finish his sentence.

He knew he has to restrain himself, so that the man would continue to help him.

Once his innermost desires are granted he would get rid of this man.

It was a perfect plan without any flaws.

What could get wrong?

Even if something would went wrong, he is still the prince of Mazeldovia.

Framing someone for treason is a piece of cake for him.

"And what exactly will princess Margaret consume?" asked Maze suspiciously.

"Young prince did no one taught you that curiosity killed the cat? The less you know the better. Unless you don't want my help."

Prince Maze clenched his fists and put on a fake smile.

He spoke in a very polite manner:

"Of course, I want your help I just want to make sure that princess Margaret will not consume something wrong as you know she is someone very dear to me. If you dare to hurt her, you have to face the consequences!"

"I would not dare to touch a single strand of hair of hers even in my wildest dreams." rea.s.sured the disguised man prince Maze.

"I hope so for you too if not I will make sure that you will not experience the day after tomorrow." threatened prince Maze.

Prince Maze then switched the topic and asked what precisely he has to pay.

"You will know when the right time comes." said the disguised man and disappeared as fast as he came.

At the very same day prince Maze asked for an audience with the princess of Margonia.

"Brother Maze!" greeted a beautiful young lady and ran into his embrace.

Prince Maze face softened when he held the little white rabbit in his arms.

"Margaret you can not randomly embrace any guy. You will soon be engaged. What would brother Damon think of you?" said Maze with a scolding voice.

Margaret felt wronged and pouted.

"Brother Damon is not that narrow - minded. And you are not any guy. You are family." countered Margaret and a cheeky smile appeared on her face.

"Naught girl." responded Maze to Margaret's counter attack and pinched her cheecks.

"Brother Maze, what are you doing? I am an adult!" protested Margaret.

"It's not my fault that you have cheeks as soft like a baby b.u.t.t." teased Maze her.

Prince Margaret was dumbfounded.

Her cheeks were like a baby b.u.t.t?!

Was this a compliment or an insult?

Should she thank him or scold him?

She was in a dilemma.

Seeing her irritated expression prince Maze felt proud of himself and let go of her cheeks.

"I am here to give you a pre - engagement gift." he finally said.

Princess Margaret eyes sparkled when she heard that.

"It's an exotic tea. I will prepare it for you just like the good old days." offered prince Maze.

Meanwhile Maze prepared the tea Margaret hummed old folk songs.

When the tea was set they toasted Margaret's engagement.

After Margaret consumed the tea she suddenly felt dizzy and fainted.

When Maze was about to catch her a certain handsome young man appeared out of nowhere and caught her.
