Chapter 192 – Zambrotta Has Toured the World

On land, a creature that releases magic is called a magical beast. At sea, there are also sea creatures that release magic, which are called sea monsters.

Without marine experts, there was no way to cla.s.sify whales or sharks, or any sea creature for that matter. The great creatures encountered in a s.h.i.+p's voyage were called sea animals. That afternoon.

The Flowers smoothly returned from their voyage and docked at the pier. It took them three and a half days. When Liszt returned to the castle, Gort introduced two strangers to him.

“My Lord, Randy Kettle and Russell Scale are both earth knights, and they want to follow you.” Gort introduced. “Randy is the son of Sir Leoden, and Russell graduated from the Knights Academy. They're young, but they have a good sense of chivalry and ambition.”

Sir Leoden was the captain of the Tulip Castle Knights, who often guarded Levis.

Randy is the son of Leoden, which means that he is an illegitimate son. Otherwise the introduction should have been 'Leoden's second son' or 'third son' and so on.

As for Russell, who graduated from Knights Academy, his family background was not mentioned, which meant he was probably a freeman.

“Randy, Rusell, since you are all earth knights, why didn't you join the Count's Knights Squad and follow the Count to war?”

Liszt was interested in these two, for he did not expect for someone to respond to his invitation too soon.

Randy was a handsome young man and he politely replied,  “I am not needed at home, not valued, not qualified to partic.i.p.ate in the Knights Squad.” He did not hide his ident.i.ty as an illegitimate son, but instead acknowledged it.

Russell went on to say, “The Count picked the knights to bring on the battlefield, and I was eliminated because I had just broken through and my fighting power was not qualified. But please rest a.s.sured Lord Baron. I will be diligent in training, master combat techniques sincerely, and strive to become a qualified battlefield knight. “

Both spoke with confidence and att.i.tude.

As a first impression, Liszt felt that both of them were good. But he would not accept followers easily, so he immediately said, "The knight chooses which Lord to follow, and the Lord chooses which knight to go with side-by-side in battle. I hope that in the course of time to come we can build friends.h.i.+p.”

“We are willing to be examined by the Baron!” Russell and Randy echoed together.

Liszt nodded,  “Since you have followed me as knights, then I will not send you into the office. You will a.s.sist Marcus as an a.s.sistant in training the children and teenagers of my territory.”

He directly threw Randy and Russell to Marcus –'hands-on' was not his style. The superiors only need to work, while the lower ones need to work harder.

He was done dealing with the earth knights.

Gort then reported, "Sir, I have received a letter two days ago. It was from Zambrotta, you might remember him as Lytton's tutor. He indulged Lytton in beating innocent civilians so the Count punished him by taking away his t.i.tle."

Liszt only remembered because Gort reminded him.

Mr. Zambrotta was a knight of the Count. He was hired as a family tutor for Lytton a few years ago and has been in and out of Tulip Castle. It didn't matter that Lytton was beating civilians, what outraged the Count was that Lytton wasn't learning anything at his young age. As a result, Zambrotta lost his t.i.tle and his job.

"Zambrotta wrote to you? What did he say?"

“He was just talking about the past, but he revealed his thoughts between the lines. He may have wanted to come to Flower Town, hoping to get a job as an official. “

Flowertown is indeed short of officials, but Liszt would not hire that easily,”Do you know him?” 

“I don't deal with him very often, I don't know much about his personality, but I know he is a very talented person, also,he travels around the Iron Ridge kingdom and the seven nations and can always say a lot of amazing and rare things.”

Traveling around eight countries?

When Liszt heard it, he was impressed. "Is that so? Adviser Gort, continue communicating with him. If he wants to work in Flower Town, do not bother me. You will be responsible for receiving him yourself."

 After all, Zambrotta was directly revoked of his t.i.tle personally by the Count.

Nullification of knighthood is the second largest sin next to exile against the n.o.bility. Liszt can maybe only appoint the said official privately to save face from his father.

In one day, three subordinates were added to his court.

Liszt was in a good mood, and so many people are looking after him, which shows that his promotion to the Viscount was imminent.

“By the way, Adviser Gort, you and Marcus will have to work together to build a temporary stronghold on Black Horse Island as soon as possible, don't delay.”

"Please rest a.s.sured Sir that I will make this Black Horse Island task my top priority."

"By the way, keep the news of Black Horse Island deep in your heart and out of mind, okay?"

"Understood."

 After handling the business, Carter came to report the affairs of the castle.

“Master, in the three days you left, Mrs. Mason and I have selected twenty children, ten boys and ten girls. They have begun the interns.h.i.+ps in the castle, mainly working in the afternoon for a period of time. During the day they go to training, and stay in a boarding house at night."

Carter finished and asked, “Would you like to meet them, Sir?”

"Only if they're done with their ch.o.r.es. Let them come and give me a list of their names. " Liszt said, but in fact,he was mainly trying to know what kind of girl little Maggie was, who the smoke mission specifically mentioned.

The young servants, who had been working downstairs, were led by Carter in line and he lined them up in front of Liszt.

“Me, my name… my name is Polly, I am twelve years old.”

Soon, Liszt finally met Maggie.

“My name is Maggie, Sir.” The girl who talked was short among her peers. She looked cute and had freckles on her face.

Looking at her, Liszt knew she would be pretty when she grew up. But other than that, her features were quite standard.

It didn't meet the secretary standards Liszt was seeking.

There was some disappointment in his heart, but he also confirmed that since it was not a secretary, Maggie must have other clues that would be involved in the follow-up tasks of the smoke mission.

So instead,  Liszt smiled gently, “I hope you live happily in the castle, Little Maggie.”

“Yes, I have a great life here, my lord.” Maggie was blus.h.i.+ng. Shy perhaps because she has never seen a handsome aristocrat smiling so gently before.

She waited until Carter told her that she could leave.

Outside the study, she could still feel her heart wildly beating.
