The first thing that came into Tanaga's mind was that he's going to see that employee and fired him from his post. However, after seeing how scared Ohani, when a while ago, she was so proud of her accomplishment of obtaining one of the units. He decided to let it slide just this once.

"Ohani, come over here for a moment," Tanaga pulled Ohani away from all the bodyguards. "You need to understand this… We are no longer together, and it has been a while since we had any kind of relations.h.i.+p with each other.

"Therefore, if you want me to continue treating you at like an acquaintance, at least.  I'm only saying this since we had known each other since we were a kid… Don't ever make my employees believe that you are my girlfriend. Do you understand that!" He said it as mellow as he could.

Ohani didn't know how she should reply to what Tanaga have said. She knew she's at fault, and she was the one who broke his heart and the reason for them to separate. That's why she decided to ask for his forgiveness and trying her best to sound sincere.

"I'm sorry! I had no intention of mentioning our past relations.h.i.+p. However, after hearing the cost of the unit here, it's the only way I know how to be able to ask for a discount. Don't worry, as soon as I move in. I will let them know that right now… we are taking a break from each other." She then made herself look pitiful.  The way she spoke was so sad and make it looks like she's about to cry.

After hearing what Ohani said, [Stupid] Tanaga felt bad and embraced her to give her comfort. He was caressing her back to make her feel better.  "It's alright! Forget it, I understand entirely… Just don't do it again. Alright?"  Not realizing that Ohani was only acting so he would feel bad.

Unfortunately, it just so happened that Ashley was coming out of the condo and saw with her eyes that Tanaga was embracing Ohani while his back was in front of her.  Therefore, Tanaga did not see or know that Ashley saw the whole thing.

Moreover, Ohani saw Ashley coming out of the door, and her brow raised. "Who's this? Is she Tannaga's new girlfriend? Hmph, she looks like a country b.u.mpkin and very innocent…. Let me play with her a little.' Ohani thought and decided to do what she does best. Acting…

She began sobbing once again, making sure that it was loud enough for Ashley to hear what she's about to say.  "Sweetheart! You know your the only one that's in my heart.  I made a mistake, and I chose my career over you. But I'm back now, and I would never do it ever again.

"Please, think about it carefully, deep down inside you… I know you still love me, dearly. I Because…'huh-huh-huh.' I will die if I lose you in my life forever." She then tightened her embrace with Tanaga and began caressing the back of his neck. In which, Ashley saw without knowing what's going on.

After seeing that scene, Ashley felt devastated, and her heart was broken into pieces. It hurts so much that she couldn't handle watching them any longer. With tears about to fall from her eyes, she turned around and went back inside the condominium without Tanaga knowing what had happened.

"Alright! Stop crying. I already told you that we should forget the past. I had already forgotten it a long time ago, and I moved on. If it makes you happy, we can still be friends.  But that's the limit of what I'm willing to offer you." Tanaga spoke mildly while he's trying to push Ohani away.

Ohani stopped crying and acted that she's okay after hearing what Tanaga sai. She put on a slight smile on her lips as she spoke. "I understand! I know that it is not that easy to bring what we had lost before. Our love had faded and no longer in your heart.

"However, I will patiently wait, and I promise you that I will not bother you or push you to take me back right away.

"Moreover, I hope that you at least see me once in a while over lunch or dinner. As a friend, nothing more... Who knows our relations.h.i.+p might come back once again. Right?" Tears were flowing down her face as she begged Tanaga to give her a chance.

In place of their long-time relations.h.i.+p, Tanaga didn't hesitate to agree to her request.  "Alright! We could do that. Once in a while, as you said... we could have a coffee or go out somewhere for old time's sake.  But keep in mind that only as a friend.."

He made sure that the "Friend' word was loud and clear. For Tanaga, it's all that's left of his feeling for her, a friend, or maybe not even.

"Anyway, I need to let you go. I have someone with me waiting inside the condo. You know what I mean, right?" Tanaga kindly informed Ohani while he was ushering her toward the elevator.

Once they reach the elevator, he pushed the b.u.t.ton so the door would open. He sticks around long enough wanting to make sure that she leaves for sure and not bother them any longer.

Ashley, who was upset at first, decided to go back inside and cursed the two.  "You all s.h.i.+t!  You just had to do it right in front of everyone to see.  What do you all think of me? Stone!" 

But then she suddenly remembered the contract between her and Tanaga.  Truth to matter was, she has no right to get upset after all.  Their relations.h.i.+p was nothing but a farce.  With that thinking, she then felt embarra.s.sed for getting angry.  She began talking to herself like a lunatic...

"Girl, you need to wake up...  This is nothing but a dream, and technically due to the contract, the two of you have. You are considered an employee and his employer.  Therefore, stick it to your brain and stop emoting.  Go out there and face them like it's nothing.  You have no right to get jealous."  Ashley's common sense told her.

"That's right!  Fighting! Live a happy life. Enjoy it while you can, Ashley! Smile. Don't let them see that your hurting!"  Ashley, another sense, told herself as she walks out the door.

Unfortunately, no sooner that she opened the door... That's when the elevator arrived. 

Since Ohani was leaving, she embraces Tanaga to bid him goodbye.  Then she saw Ashley once again standing by the opened door of the condo and about to step out. 

Therefore, Ohani's demoness brain started working once more...  ' This is getting good. The hillbilly wouldn't know what hit her.  Just watch girl, for I would show you who I am .' 

She quickly gave Tanaga a sweet kiss on his cheeks while saying her goodbye.  Tanaga didn't stop her, for he thought nothing of it. 

Unfortunately, they were a distance away from the door, and Ashley didn't have a good view of what was truly transpiring.  And from her point of view, the two were being lovey-dovey and were kissing each other...
