The butler slowly and quietly knocked at the door.  He doesn't want to get scolded again. "Knock, knock, knock… Sir, may I come in?" He nervously asked. When Tanaga didn't reply, he slowly opened the door and sneaked to peek and see what's Tanaga was doing.

He entered his head first. Once inside, he looked around the whole office to see where Tanaga was.  When he saw that his boss was lying on the sofa with his eyes closed. He slowly closed the door and decided to wait the next day, whatever it is that he needed from him.

He then turned around to go to his room to rest.  Just as he was about to enter, the buzzer from the guard house made noise. "What in the world!  What is it now? It's already late, who could have enough guts to come and visit at this hour?" He was mumbling to himself as he punched the b.u.t.ton to answer the intercom.

"What do you need?" He angrily retorted to the security guard.

"Sir, I apologize for bothering you.  But, Mr. Kai Hanada is here to see sir, Jones.  He said it's important him to see boss, what should I do?" The security guard asked hesitantly.

"Wait!  Let me check with Sir Jones first.  Tell him to wait, and I need to see if the boss is available to see him." He then quickly turned off the intercom before going straight to Tanaga's office.

He did precisely the same thing as before. He slowly knocked at the door. He then calls out, "Sir, sir! You have a company! Sir, sir, your cousin Kai Hanada is here to see you.  He said it's urgent." This time he spoke loudly, making sure that Tanaga heard him.

When Tanaga still didn't answer him, he began banging at the door louder while calling out loudly to wake Tanaga up in case he had fallen asleep.

However, no matter how loud he was banging at the door, no one answered.  He began to worry that something was wrong. Therefore, he slowly opened the door to see.  He was stunned to see that the office was empty, and Tanaga was nowhere in sight.

"No, wonder?  Where could he be? I just turned around to go to my room not long ago, and he couldn't have gone far. That was a quick move." He mumbles as he got out of the room to look for Tanaga.

"Hmm, I know I didn't hear him go upstairs to his room, so it means… Ahhh! I know where he is right now!" He went straight to the room that Ashley had occupied when she first arrived.  

He did not make a mistake, for Tanaga was there when he arrived.  He was sound asleep while hugging the pillow that Ashley had used prior.  ' He must miss her badly, poor guy .' The butler thought as he closed the door to leave him alone.

He called back the security guard at the gate.  "Please, inform Mr. Kai Hanada that CEO Jones had already gone to bed. Unless the THJ Group is going bankrupt or the headquarters is burning… Tell him to come back tomorrow." He told him sternly then turned the intercom off.

A moment later, it was the butler's phone began ringing.  When he checked the caller ID, he saw that it was Kai Hanada calling him.  He has no choice but to answer, "h.e.l.lo!" He angrily answered the call.

"You better let me in old-man, or you will get it!"  Kai retorted back at the butler.

"I will get what, Sir?  I already have everything!"  He quickly replied, then hung up the call without a care in the world.

Tanaga was sleeping soundly and in his arms was the pillow Ashley had used when she first arrived at the mansion.

If the butler hadn't woken him up because Kai was already at the gate, he would have continued sleeping the day away.  He was not in the mood to see anyone at all...

"Sir, you have a guest waiting outside, should I let him come in?" Asked the butler with concern in his eyes.

"What the h.e.l.l! It's too f***ing early.  Who's the idiot that dare to bother me this early in the morning?" Tanaga asked angrily while his eyes were still shut while he was snipping the smell coming from the pillow.

"It's your cousin, Sir!  Mr. Kai Hanada.  He said it's an urgent matter and couldn't wait."  The butler said anxiously.

"Unless the stock price of THJ Group is dropping rock bottom, then nothing is an urgent matter!"

"I'm not sure, sir! Should I let him in or not?" The butler asked again.  If it's up to him, he doesn't want to let that pain in the a.r.s.e in the mansion. 

"Go ahead and let him in, but I'm going to take a shower first. Make him wait in the living room. And... Oh, ' Yea!  Don't let him come into my office." Tanaga commanded while still keeping his eyes closed.

The butler quickly leaves after hearing Tanaga's order. He then called the security guard at the gate and told him to go ahead and let Mr. Kai Hanada enter.

It was only a matter of time before a car was speeding right in front of the mansion.  Kai was driving like a maniac through the winding road towards the front of the estate. 

Once he arrives, he then stepped on the brake with a loud screech.  It was so loud that the butler had to cover his ear while a scowl was plastered on his face.

As Kai descends, he immediately points to the butler. "You !!!! I told you I'm going to get you when I see you! Come here, you b.a.s.t.a.r.d !!!" Kai shouted as he approached the butler.

"Hep! Hep, hep! You better stay right there! Try it, and we'll find out!"  He was trying to intimidate Kai, knowing the boy was a chicken s.h.i.+t.  He made a pose with his fist all balled up.

"If you want to taste how to get knocked out, come on! Come closer!" The butler's acting courageously, but deep inside him, he's scared s.h.i.+t ... 'Sir Jones, where are you? Help !!! '

Fortunately, Kai was also terrified, and he stopped and didn't approach the butler. Even when the old man turned and walked toward the house, he simply obeyed with no words.

When they arrived inside, the butler walked into the living room area while Kai followed. When they got there, "the boss said for you to wait here. You stay here and don't do anything stupid, and I'll go and get you a drink. If you move an inch...  You watch what happens." He threatened as he walks out of the door.

A few minutes later, the butler returned with a drink. "Here, why don't you cool off first ... You're too hot." The old man said aloud before he turned around and left.

Kai has not been able to get comfortable yet when Tanaga comes in frantic as his sleep was disturbed.  "You better have a good reason to wake me up this early. Spill it out!" Tanaga growled as he sat down.

Once he was seating comfortably, he placed his hands on both sides of the sofa as he tapped his finger continuously.

Kai was at first acting like a lion king in front of the butler.  However, in front of Tanaga, he was nothing but a kitten. He even has to keep his mouth shut unless he was asked to speak.   

He knows Tanaga's att.i.tude. If he doesn't like what Kai has to say, he could get demoted to his position as President of the Entertainment Business of THJ Group.

"I'm here because I signed a new talent to be the spoke person of THJ Group. I thought I let you know ahead in case you might be angry with me when you found out who is this person."  Kai said gently while not looking straight at Tanaga.

"If you were telling me that you signed Ohani and you were the person that brought her here.  You should be afraid since you know our history.  However, I'm a businessman, and business is business.

"If you think that she's that good, I have no problem with what you had done,"  Tanaga said without even glancing.

Kai didn't know where to put the happiness that he was feeling at that moment. It's the first time that Tanaga did not reject the decision he made as long as he could remember...
