Meanwhile, Ashley and Tiny were on the way to grandmother Hanada's mansion. Ashley finally able to properly breathe once she was inside the moving vehicle.  She had been holding her breath the whole time as they were trying to escape a while ago.  Afraid that the devil would catch her and throw her in the pit of h.e.l.l.

It was a blessing in disguise that Alden and Tanaga b.u.mped into each other.  Due to that incident, all the bodyguards rushed to their rescue. Therefore, they did not see Tiny and Ashley pa.s.sing through right behind them.

Before the incident, Alden was writing his phone number on a piece of paper to give to Ashley.  Meanwhile, as Ashley was waiting for him, she saw Tanaga circling around and was on the way to the restroom where she was at.  She began panicking and didn't know what she was going to do when... - she heard Tiny calling her quietly. 

 "Pst! Pst!  Over here, ma'am Ashley!"  He was by the side door halfway in and halfway out.

Ashley felt relief seeing him and quickly went to where Tiny was.  "It's good that you're here. We need to get out of here for the devil was out there inside the restaurant looking for us,"  Ashley said, whispering to Tiny.

"I know ma'am, I saw him come, and I was not able to stop him, for he was running like a mad dog.  What are we going to do, all his bodyguards were stationed to all the exit door?"  

However, luck was on their side, for Alden and Tanaga b.u.mped into each other, and all the bodyguard came running, leaving a gap for Ashley and Tiny to sneak out right behind them.

The two were like a thief, once they made it pa.s.sed the bodyguard.  They quickly ran for their lives to where the car was parked.  Once they were inside and moving, that's the only time they finally breathe freely.  

"Oh,' G.o.d have mercy!  Thank you, Lord, that the devil in disguise didn't catch us." She then let out a sigh of relief and did a sign of the cross. 

Grandmother Hanada was already waiting for her right by the door when Ashley arrived.  When she spotted the car going in through the gate, she quickly ordered the butler... "Quickly, they are coming.  Call the maid to help bring her things inside to the room that we prepared for her." Grandmother Hanada ordered excitedly.

She had been antic.i.p.ating Ashley's arrival ever since she called her.  No sooner than the car stopped right in front of the Manson.  Grandmother Hanada excitedly rushed toward the vehicle and opened the door herself. 

"Hahaha! I'm so glad that you made it. Did you know that your husband was going banana right now looking for you?  He came here a little while ago and screaming, yelling, and shouting your name. However, once he found out that you were not here… He quickly took off without even saying h.e.l.lo to me."  She said excitedly with a big grin on her face. 

Grandmother Hanada was enjoying the moment that his beloved grandson was going crazy looking for his wife.  

Ashley couldn't believe that Tanaga followed her there.  'What does it means?  I know that he's looking for me right now, but that's because Tiny texted him about another man I'm with.  What was that all about?' She was thinking while she was walking with her Grandmother Hanadat towards inside the mansion.

Grandmother Hanada was so excited the Ashley had decided to come and stay with her that she didn't realize that Ashley was in deep thought while they were walking.  She was busy talking her heart out when she realized that Ashley wasn't even paying attention to a word she was saying. 

She tapped her. "Grandchild, don't tell me that you are already having a second thought and wanted to go back home to your husband?  Don't you dare! If you do that, then he would get used to it. You need to make him kneel in front of you. Do you understand what I'm saying?!" Grandmother Hanada said with wide eyes and raised brow.  

When Ashley heard what grandmother Hanada said, it seems like she wakened up from a slumber.  With that, it gives her the courage to ask the old lady a question.

"Grandma, are you telling me all this because you want us to continue our marriage?" She asked straight face while looking at grandmother Hanada without batting an eye.

Grandmother Hanada decided to tell her straight up.  "If it's up to me, of course! I like you for my grandson!  However, you could never teach the heart to love and cherish.  Therefore, I cannot tell Tanaga what to do and what to feel. Do you understand what I mean?"  

"Of course, grandma!  I understand clearly.  Even I'm not exactly sure what I feel about him yet.  As you already know that I never once had a boyfriend. I have never fallen in love before. Therefore, I'm not sure what I feel for him, either." Ashley replied, truthfully.

The two were busy conversing and did not realize that Tanaga had arrived already and heard every word they said.  He suddenly stopped as he was coming in after hearing what Ashley had said. He then got to thinking as well…

'What is this that I feel for her? Do I care for her already, or was this only l.u.s.t?  Hmmm, It must be l.u.s.t for I haven't been laid in a while.' With that thought, he decided to backtrack, and instead of going in to speak with Ashley, he decided to go back home.

"I think it would be best if we separate for a while.  This way I would know what is this I'm feeling. I would find out exactly what I feel for her?" He muttered to himself as he went inside the car, turned the engine on, and speed off.

A moment later, the butler came and whispered something to grandmother Hanada's ear.  After hearing what he had said, grandmother Hanada's brow raised, and her face soured.

"Ashley, let me ask you something?  What did you study in college? I know you came to j.a.pan to work, but I have no idea what kind of job. So what was the job that you were supposed to be going to do?" She bombarded Ashley with questions after hearing what the butler said.

Ashley told everything and didn't miss a thing.  She informed her what's her degree, what kind of position she was supposed to be in. She also told grandma about her being almost sold to the highest bidder.  Once she was finished, Grandmother Hanada's face cleared up, and she has a mischievous grin plastered on her face.

"I have an idea, and if this works out, I think it would help you two get to know each other.  Let us go and eat first, and tomorrow we will do a makeover so his eyes would pop-out once he sees you.  Don't worry. I will take care of you and everything about you." Grandmother happily told Ashley.

Ashley could only stare at her, unable to utter a word. She didn't quite understand what grandmother was insinuating and what she's about to do by the next day?

Meanwhile, Tanaga went to the mansion instead of back to the condo.  No sooner than he walked in, he was stunned to see that his butler was back from the Philippines. 

The old man has a big grin on his face while anxiously waiting for Tanaga to make his report about Ashley's family back in the Philippines.

"Welcome home!  Sir, bossing! You would be proud of me for all my accomplishments.  Everything that you had asked me to do was accomplished." He excitedly reported everything that had to happen while he was with Ashley's family. 

However, Tanaga was not in the mood to listen. He's mind what way out there somewhere at grandmother Hanada's mansion.

The butler saw this and quickly shut up.  He then realized that Ashley was not with him when he came in; he got worries and asked.  "Sir, where's ma'am Ashley?" Which was a big mistake on his part, it was a wrong question.  He has no idea that the two were in the cold war at the moment.

Tanaga barked at him. "Why are you looking for someone that's not here.  Did you see her anywhere, did you see her with me? No! Right? Next time, if you don't see her… Don't ask me!" He then turned around and went straight to his room while slamming the door right on the butler's face.

The butler was puzzled, and all he could do was scratches his head.  At first, he was so excited to make his reports about Ashley's family. He thought for sure once Ashley found out what Tanaga has done for her family… She would never find the courage ever to leave him.

She would feel indebt with Tanaga, therefore, to pay back the good deed.  She would stay and repay kindness with kindness.

"Hmmm, I wonder what happened while I was gone? I need to find out quickly, or all my hard work might go to waste"  He then quickly went to look for one of the housemaids to find out exactly what happened...
