He entered Li Bingbing's room, he saw her sitting in front of her computer in her underwear.

Lu Xian Yu went toward her, "Bingbing, you can't skip dinner."

Li Bingbing ignored him. She was already in a bad mood when she came home. She just wanted to lean on someone and yet, Lu Xian Yu had to ruin it by saying something that made her more irritated.

He turned her swivel chair to him before he sat in front of her. "Honey, I'm sorry."

Li Bingbing looked down at him for a while without saying a word. She was tired and she didn't want to argue with him anymore. She opened her arms and reached out to him as if wanting to be carried.

When Lu Xian Yu saw this, he couldn't help but inwardly sigh in relief. He was glad that Li Bingbing wasn't making things hard for him.

He carried Li Bingbing like a princess before he went back to the dining room.

Li Bingbing wrapped her arms around his neck before she rested her head on him. "Xian Yu..."

"Hmm?"

"Can we go out after this?" She closed her eyes. "I want to go to the rooftop."

He blinked a few times at what she said, he looked at her face and saw how tired she looked. It p.r.i.c.ked his heart when he saw the usually bright and lively Li Bingbing this way.

Was it because of Xia Sinian again? Did something bad happen while she was at work?

Lu Xian Yu wanted to know the answers to these questions so badly but he decided not to when he saw the long face Li Bingbing had.

"Okay." He kissed her forehead softly before he placed her on her seat.

There was a small garden in the building's rooftop and since it was going to be winter soon, the breeze was cold.

Lu Xian Yu was sitting beside Li Bingbing, he didn't want to leave her alone such kind of place.

They were the only people in the rooftop and it was quiet. The city lights before them were s.h.i.+ning brightly and they looked like fireflies in the dark night.

Li Bingbing was wearing a thick jacket and so was Lu Xian Yu. She was staring at one direction, she was staring at the Xia company that was nearby her apartment building.

She couldn't help but wonder if Xia Sinian was still at work or did he went home to his wife? What kind of wife did Xia Sinian have? Was she prettier than her? Better than her? Li Bingbing couldn't help but think about what was she lacking. What was her mistake? What wrong did she do that Xia Sinian ended up leaving her?

Li Bingbing couldn't move on from Xia Sinian because she chose not to. She loved him so much that she refused to love another man no matter what. She refused to let him go from her heart until he gave her proper answers to all her questions.

Lu Xian Yu suddenly regretted bringing Li Bingbing out when he noticed where she was staring at.

Li Bingbing was surprised when Lu Xian Yu suddenly captured her lips.

She tried to push him away but Lu Xian Yu was too strong for her, he didn't allow her to push him away. He held her in place as he continued to kiss her.

His heart beat faster and faster as he continued to kiss Li Bingbing.

He kept her face in place by holding her chin firmly as he placed his free hand on her waist.

She felt the rush of helplessness, the surging tide of warmth that left her limp. Lu Xian Yu's handsome face was blurred and drowned to nothingness. He bent back her head across his arm and kissed her, gently at first.

His insistent mouth was parting her shaking lips, sending wild tremors along her nerves, she couldn't help but melt in his arms and kiss him back.

The taste of her mouth was so addicting. He was able to taste a bit of their dinner from earlier and this made him want to kiss her more. With a swift gradation of intensity, she clung on him.

What was happening? Why was her heart thumping so fast? She felt her face hot as well. Li Bingbing wanted to pull away from him but she couldn't bring herself to do it. As days pa.s.sed together with him, she found it harder and harder to resist Lu Xian Yu's kisses and touches.
