Little Melon nodded happily, "Okay! Come back soon, uncle!"

He looked at Xia Meilin. "Sister, I'll take my leave now."

"Don't ever come back. I don't want you to ruin my innocent son." Xia Meilin said with a glare.

Lu Xian Yu pouted, "I'm just going to help him be a man."

Little Melon's eyes sparkled. "Mello wants to be a man!"

"See?" Lu Xian Yu grinned. "He'll grow up just to be like his uncle!"

Little Melon quickly shook his head. "Mello wants to grow up like dada!"

"If you want to give lessons to a kid, go get yourself one. Don't involve my son." Xia Meilin crossed her arms and turned away from him.

Lu Xian Yu sulked, "You're being cold to me, sis."

"You're a bad influence for my son so that can't be helped." She chuckled, she then turned to Little Melon. "Don't listen to whatever your uncle Xian Yu says, okay? Listen only to your mom and dad."

Little Melon nodded obediently. "Okay! Mellon will only listen to mama and dada!"

"I'm being bullied here so I'm going to take my leave now." He sulked.

"Oh yeah, don't forget to come to Xiao Gua's upcoming birthday, okay? Tell Bingbing about it for me."

Little Melon grinned happily at this, "Yes! Sister Bingbing and uncle Xian Yu should come!"

Lu Xian Yu ruffled Little Melon's hair and smiled, "How can I forget? I just told you that I prepared a special gift for you."

Little Melon pouted, "But it's not books so it won't be interested."

"It's better than books."

Little Melon's eyes sparkled, "Really?"

"Yes, I promise."

He expected that Xia Meilin wouldn't give him anything about Xia Sinian and Li Bingbing's relations.h.i.+p but still wanted to give it a try and thus, he still failed in gaining new information from her.

Meanwhile, Li Bingbing began her work in Xia Sinian's company and she was a.s.signed in the Programming department.

Li Bingbing was waiting for opportunities to approach Xia Sinian but he never showed himself in front of her which frustrated her.

She had no reason to visit him in his office and because of that, she was not given a chance to see him.

When she got home that day, she went to the kitchen and saw Lu Xian Yu, placing the dinner he prepared for them on the table.

Ignoring the food, Li Bingbing went and hugged Lu Xian Yu close. She felt so depressed that day that she just wanted to hug someone and there was no one else other than Lu Xian Yu in her place.

Lu Xian Yu looked down at her, he was a bit surprised when Li Bingbing suddenly gave him a hug. "Is there something wrong?"

"No, nothing... I'm just so drained today. I'm trying to suck your energy right now." She buried her face on his chest.

He chuckled at how adorable she was. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her back.

"You can suck something else other than my energy you know," said he with a playful smirk on his lips.

Li Bingbing raised her head and glared at him, she pinched his nipple hard.

"OWW! BINGBING!"

She let go of his nipple before she pushed him away. "I'm not hungry, I'm skipping dinner tonight."

Lu Xian Yu knew how to woo girls but whenever it came to Li Bingbing, he would always end up saying something that would spoil the mood in between them

Why was he acting so different towards her? He wasn't like that to other women. Was it because he has gotten so comfortable around her that he didn't have anything to hold him back or was it because of something else?

Women loved to receive expensive gifts and be showered with money but to Li Bingbing, that was pointless. He would try to impress her with his flowery words sometimes and yet, he would end up saying something that was different than what he wanted to say.
