It was Lu Xian Yu's turn to say his vow but he remained silent for a while making Li Bingbing nervous.

"Hey, say something. Did you forgot your vow?" Whispered Li Bingbing with a worried look on her face.

Lu Xian Yu didn't give her a response, instead, he calmly smiled at her.

When they were young their love was quite indistinguishable from l.u.s.t. Their pa.s.sion bonded them together, their laughter and their good times kept them happy. 

"Do you know, Bibi? Meeting you is like meeting an enigma. Then you went away, and I ceased to function as I had before. My illusion that we were in a carefree relations.h.i.+p fell away, a future without you was no future at all. You were part of my being, the love I have for you had seeped into my skin and rested in my bone. If I ever give up on our love then I have slain myself, for it is your heart that pumps blood in my veins."

He looked at her hands, caressing them with his thumbs before he started back at her again, continuing, "I had never understood marriage before, but now, you are the trap I've been wanting to fall into my whole life. I promise myself to you for the rest of my life, to honor you, nurture you, keep you in sickness and health. I wanted to wake up with you for the rest of my life, to be your partner, your true friend, your love."

After Lu Xian Yu gave his vow to Li Bingbing, she grinned and gave him a thumbs up. "You've improved, I love that."

The priest chuckled at Li Bingbing's remark. "Let's not prolong the union of these two wonderful people. By the power vested to me, I now p.r.o.nounce you husband and wife." He turned to Lu Xian Yu, "You may now kiss the bride."

Lu Xian Yu pulled Li Bingbing by her waist and gave her a soft kiss on her lips. Everyone cheered for them.

Mengmeng and Qinqing covered their eyes when they saw their parents kissing.

"Eww, they're kissing." Mumbled Mengmeng.

"They're sharing germs," Qinqing added. He never understands why the two needs to kiss.

Jing Yue chuckled at the children's remarks. "One day, you'll find someone to share your germs too."

Qinqing shook his head vigorously, "Not happening."

"Then what if your mom wanted to kiss you? Or your sister?"

Qinqing puffed out his cheeks in an adorable manner, "Mama and Jiejie's germs are good germs, other's germs are bad germs."

"How about me?" Jing Yue raised a brow, an amused smile on her lips.

"There are some exceptions to it, grandma," Qinqing said as he hugged her by her leg.

The room buzzed with excited chatter and children ran between the tables in a good-natured game of tag. Then the bride and groom entered, applause spread across the room. There was the sc.r.a.ping of chairs as folks got up for a standing ovation and the happy couple made their way to the head table, smiling and holding hands. They sat in front of a bouquet of baby pink roses and the groom leaned in for a kiss. There were cheers and someone whooped. After a few moments, the toastmaster rose from his chair and everyone else sat down.

Mengmeng and the other children went back to their table. Mengmeng sat in between of Qinqing and Si Hongqi.

"Everyone, let me introduce you to my future husband, brother Hongqi." Mengmeng happily said as she hugged Si Hongqi's arm.

"Oh! That's great!" Little Spring and s.h.i.+ Enxi clapped for them.

Si Hongqi didn't push Mengmeng away, he was somehow getting used of her antiques, besides, he knew that Qinqing was there to pull his sister away.

Qinqing was totally against what his sister said. He gave her his most adorable look, looking almost like an innocent puppy just to catch her attention, "Jiejie, Qinqing wants a hug."

Whenever Qinqing gave that kind of look, Mengmeng would always give in and hug him instead.

"I want to have a husband too." Little Spring pouted in envy. 

Mello placed his hand on top of his sister's head, "You're too young for that, Xiao Chun."

Little Spring ignored her brother, "Brother s.h.i.+ Yi looks really good, also brother Xukun."

Mello turned to s.h.i.+ Yi and Han Xukun, he didn't say anything, he just smiled at them but his eyes gave them warning that if they ever approach his sisters, he wouldn't go easy on them.

s.h.i.+ Yi: "..."

Han Xukun: "..."

s.h.i.+ Yi and Han Xukun looked away from him. It wasn't like they were interested in his sisters in the first place.

Little Star was quietly eating her cake, ignoring the other children around her.

Why are they talking about such complicated thing when they were still young? Little Star ended up sighing inwardly. Ah… children these days are getting too smart for their own good.
