Chapter 205 - Stop Being So Childish

Li Bingbing nuzzled on his chest, trying to fall asleep in his warm embrace, "Honey, sing me that song again."

"Again?"

"Yes, again."

Ever since the day Li Bingbing arrived in the Azure Republic, before going to sleep, it has been a habit for her to ask Lu Xian Yu to sing the song that he sang for her back then.

He opened his mouth and started singing softly for her, "In this moving time, we met by chance, didn't we, you and I? This overflowing feeling won't disappear because I'm keeping it warm. I want to be with you, in the s.h.i.+ning future."

He gently stroked her hair, his gentle singing voice was a lullaby for her. "I've never felt it before, this feeling. Just for you, so I won't ever lose it. You're my best friend."

Back then, Lu Xian Yu has disliked that part of the song but now that he thought of it, it was not that bad. He considered Li Bingbing his lover, wife and best friend. "I want to hold on to you, to catch you, and give you a smile. In happy times, and sad times too, I'll fly to you without hesitation. Because you are here, today and tomorrow, I can keep on going."

After singing the song, he felt her even breathing. His eyes softened upon seeing her fast asleep like an innocent kitten. He leaned and placed a soft kiss on her forehead before he carefully got out of the bed, making sure that she wouldn't wake up by his movements.

Not long, after Lu Xian Yu and his family went back to China, they started preparing for their wedding.

Unlike Lu Xian Yu, Li Bingbing wanted their wedding to be small and that only family members and close friends were to be invited.

Lu Xian Yu didn't have a choice but to give her such a wedding. He decided to spend more on her wedding dress and accessories for their wedding.

Li Bingbing and Lu Xian Yu's wedding was held by the beachside. The weather was beautiful and it wasn't so airy that day that was why everything was in perfect conditions.

Li Bingbing was being helped by Xia Meilin and her mother in dressing up. The creamy white sheets of the silk dress reached down to the ground. Her long curly hair was cut short until her shoulders.

"Mama is so pretty!" Mengmeng eyes were sparkling in delight. She was wearing a pastel pink dress and her long hair was tied up into a twin bun with pink ribbons wrapped around it.

s.h.i.+ Enxi, Li Bingbing's half-sister nodded in agreement. "Jiejie looks like an angel!"

"Sister Enxi, Mengmeng, let's take a photo together!" Suggested Little Spring.

"Okay!"

The four little girls were getting along together.

"By the way, sister Enxi, can Mengmeng include brother s.h.i.+ Yi in my list?"

s.h.i.+ Enxi blinked a few times, confused with what she was trying to say.

The little girls formed into a circle and Mengmeng leaned and whispered to them about her future plans about getting her own house and filling it with handsome men.

"Who's already in your list?" s.h.i.+ Enxi curiously asked.

"Teacher Yun Che, Teacher Qing Wei, brother Mello, brother Xukun and brother Hongqi!" Mengmeng happily exclaimed, counting them on her fingers.

"Oh! They are all so handsome!" Little Spring grinned. "And Mello-gege is included too!"

Little Star sighed inwardly. The three lively girls were too… energetic for her.

Since Han Xukun and his family were invited to the wedding, Mengmeng introduced the girls to him. Si Hongqi and his parents arrived as well and because of that Xia Meilin was able to get to know her cousin, Yong Sianqi.

"How about brother Guanlin?" s.h.i.+ Enxi suggested.

"Okay! I'll include him in my list too!"

While the children were having their own conversations, their mothers were busy chatting as well.

Mu Xijiu smiled at Li Bingbing as she handed her a bouquet of red roses, "I can't believe that we're finally here."

Li Bingbing held the bouquet ready for the ceremony her hands twinged with sweat. She was nervous. Incredibly so.

Xia Meilin chuckled lightly, "We're so lucky to get invited by her this time."

"Yes, yes. I was pretty hurt that she got married back then without even inviting me over." Mu Xijiu sighed.

Xia Meilin nodded in understanding, "I feel you so much, auntie."

Li Bingbing rolled her eyes, "Stop being so childish."
