After cleaning his pants, Shen Juan went to the table where Qiao Man was sitting. He sat in front of her and stared at her with a blank look at that time.

"Mr. Shen, I apologize for the trouble I caused you earlier. Please don't make a complaint to my boss, I really need this job." Qiao Man said, pleading to him.

Although Shen Juan ignored her by eating his food instead.

"Mr. Shen..."

"Pour me tea."

Qiao Man gulped nervously, at that moment, she needed the job to earn money for her sick son.

Life wasn't always good to her. Her ex-boyfriend had run away from her after learning that she was pregnant with his kid. In the end, Qiao Man had to take care of her son with the help of her mother. She worked hard for her mother and son. She learned martial arts and applied to be a bodyguard under s.h.i.+ Fen. The pay was good and it became better when she was a.s.signed to be Li Bingbing's bodyguard.

Although, in the end, s.h.i.+ Fen and his wife left the country while Li Bingbing did the same with Xia Sinian which made her lose her job. She was back to zero and she did her best to look for a new job.

She has already received a good scolding from the manager and if Shen Juan complained to her boss, she could lose her job.

"If I did, will you let this matter go?"

Shen Juan raised a brow, "Isn't pouring tea for your customer your job?"

Qiao Man pursed her lips into a thin line as she became quiet. It would be better if she wouldn't make problems with him anymore.

Shen Juan watched Qiao Man pour him a tea. Her smooth and slender fingers were so beautiful that he ended up thinking about her touch on his thighs again.

Just by thinking of it, his brother who was resting in between his legs stood up once again. Upon realizing this, Shen Juan frowned. If others would see his awakened manhood, they might think that he was a pervert, especially when he was in front of a woman!

It was a good thing that there weren't so many customers at that moment.

"Mr. Shen?" Qiao Man's soft voice caught his attention.

He looked at her and stared at her for a while, "Will you marry me?"

If she was the only woman who could make him aroused, then he wasn't going to let go of her.

What the h.e.l.l did she just hear from him? Her ears must be playing with her, right?

Although Shen Juan looked serious about what he said. Since he saw that Qiao Man was looking at him in disbelief, he repeated, "I want you to marry me."

"Wait... wait, you were serious about it?!"

"Do I look like I'm joking?" He asked before he took another sip from his tea.

Qiao Man stared at him for a while, she still couldn't believe that he wanted to marry her, "Why?"

"Are you up for it?" he asked.

Qiao Man clenched her fists, "Why would I want to marry you? A person I don't love and I don't know? Just so you know, I am a mother. I have a five years old son so you can't marry me."

Shen Juan stared at his cup of tea for a while. "What about your husband? You didn't mention him. Do you have one?"

Qiao Man's lips were stretched into a thin line because of Shen Juan's sharpness. "I don't have one, but doesn't mean that I will accept your offer."

Shen Juan looked to her. He has never experienced a taste of a woman but despite that, he was a man who always dreamed of having his own family one day. He may not look like it but he actually loved children and he would always have a soft spot for them.

Qiao Man was firm with her decision, she never wanted to be with another guy after her boyfriend left her alone when she needed him the most. If it wasn't for her mother, she would have aborted her child already.

Shen Juan was about to say something to convince Qiao Man but he was interfered by a ringing phone.

"It's mine. Please excuse me," she took her phone out of her pocket and looked at the caller ID. When she saw that it was from her mother, she couldn't help but get nervous all of the sudden.

She answered the call, "h.e.l.lo?"

"Xiao Man, you have to come here. The doctor said that Ziyue can't survive any much longer without an immediate transplant. There is a last minute opening and his operation will be scheduled tonight but we need to pay 400,000 RMB for the operation to take place."

Qiao Man's face became ashen white when she heard what her mother just said. 400,000 RMB? Where would she get that much money? A kidney transplant was practically hard to find. Having an opening in such a short notice was already a blessing but her only problem was the money.

Her eyes instantly fell on Shen Juan while she was thinking of where to get the money. Shen Juan was a rich man, if she asked for his help, would he give her one?
