Li Bingbing couldn't help but be anxious when she thought of Xia Sinian meeting Lu Xian Yu at the wedding.

The thought of Lu Xian Yu made Li Bingbing's heart shake. For the past months, she never thought of him even once since she was focused on Xia Sinian. Whenever Xia Sinian was with her, other things wouldn't matter to her.

She remembered the time she has spent with Lu Xian Yu. There were times where she appreciated his presence, especially when he was always there for her whenever she was depressed but there were times where it was too much for her, the way he forced himself to her was something she didn't want.

What if Lu Xian Yu would follow Xia Sinian back? She was really worried about it but at the same time, Xia Sinian told her to trust him since he would handle Lu Xian Yu himself.

Li Bingbing stared at her daughter who was sleeping peacefully beside her. She never once thought of considering that Xia Mengjie might be Lu Xian Yu's daughter since she was so sure that she was Xia Sinian's and because of that, she was blinded by her belief.

She leaned and kissed Xia Mengjie's forehead. She may not say it a lot but she loved her daughter just like how much Xia Sinian loved her.

Although she sometimes brought chaos in the house because of her loud cries, there were times where her laughter brought joy in her and Xia Sinian.

Li Bingbing still had a mother's instinct to protect her own child from hard and to care for her no matter what.

"Ah, sweetheart, why are you so cute? I want to eat you up." She whispered softly before she kissed both of her daughter's chubby cheeks. "You're so soft!"

After the wedding ceremony, a warm romantic candlelit dinner was scheduled for the wedding reception. Since they were having their dinner in the outdoor garden, as it started to become dark, the trees around them were lit up.

The lights looked like fairies flying in the trees which amazed every guest present there.

While having their dinner, Lu Xian Yu, who was there, walked toward Xia Sinian.

To be honest, Lu Xian Yu couldn't help but admit that Li Bingbing was good in hiding and because of that, Lu Xian Yu was more eager to have her.

Since Xia Sinian was there, Lu Xian knew that the best way to know Li Bingbing's location was through him.

When Xia Sinian saw Lu Xian Yu walking toward him, he already knew why he was coming to him that's why he excused himself from his grandparents before he turned to Lu Xian Yu. "Follow me."

As Xia Sinian started heading toward the balcony, Lu Xian Yu followed him from behind.

"Tell me Lu Xian Yu, do you love her?" Xia Sinian said as he came to a stop when they were far enough from other people. Xia Sinian turned to Lu Xian Yu with a serious look on his face.

"I do."

Xia Sinian's eyes softened when he saw the firmness in Lu Xian Yu's eyes, "How deep do you love her?"

Lu Xian Yu couldn't help but wonder why Xia Sinian was asking him such question but nonetheless, he still gave him a genuine answer, "I am willing to sacrifice everything for her but I will never give her to anyone that's why I'm going to take her from you."

Lu Xian Yu once tried to forget her since he started to realize that he was becoming a pathetic man who was running after a woman who loved someone else. He tried to sleep with different girls but by the time they entered the room, Lu Xian Yu would always end up backing out because the women he brought would always fail in turning him on.

Why was he so affected by her?

Ever since Li Bingbing left, Lu Xian Yu has always felt that she has taken a part of him when she disappeared. He felt so empty and the things he found fascinating were now boring for him. Lu Xian Yu fell deeply in love with Li Bingbing to the point of no return.

"Before you take her from me, can you do me a favor?"

Lu Xian Yu furrowed his brows in confusion. He was expecting him to put up a fight but instead, here he was, doing the total opposite.

"I only have four years left…"

"What?"

"I don't have much time left that's why… can you leave us alone for four years?" Xia Sinian turned and looked at the scenery of the town that was below them. "I know that it is such a long time but after that… you can have her. Li Bingbing deserves to be happy. She deserves to have a man that can support her all throughout her life."

He turned to him with a pained smile plastered on his face, "I want her to be happy, Lu Xian Yu… She is the woman I have always loved that's why knowing that I will cause her great pain in the future, it's harder for me to leave her… But if I know that you'll be there by her side when that time comes, then I will be at ease… after all, you are that man's brother. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Lu Xian Yu was speechless because of what Xia Sinian was saying right now. He found out that he was sick, but he never knew that he was dying.

Xia Sinian hanged his head low as he clenched his fists tightly. The gesture he made, made him look like he was begging him. "Please make her happy."
