Li Bingbing and her family moved away and flew to another country that's why when Lu Xian Yu arrived at their place, they were already gone.

Since Lu Yifeng wrote a list of places where Li Bingbing could have gone, he went to those places, one by one.

He only stopped when he was suddenly invited for Xia Meilin and Lu Yifeng's second marriage.

Meanwhile, Li Bingbing and Xia Sinian were invited as well but because of their situation, they were hesitant in going.

"You should go," said Li Bingbing when she turned to her husband.

"I can't leave you here."

Li Bingbing chuckled, "I can handle myself. Besides, I can handle Mengmeng now so you don't have to worry about us. Just make sure to come back soon, okay?"

Xia Sinian sighed in defeat, "Fine, I'll go."

It was his sister's important day so his presence was important there.

He hugged Li Bingbing from behind, "But let's not tell her about it, okay? Let's give her a surprise."

Li Bingbing chuckled, "Yes, that would be really nice."

"How about the food?" He rested his chin on her shoulder.

"I can manage... Besides, you'll come back soon so I really don't have to wait for that much."

Because of Li Bingbing's situation, she couldn't attend her best friend ceremony but…

she knew how important Xia Sinian was for her best friend so she was not going to hold him away from her.

"Da!" Xia Mengjie reached out her hands toward her father.

Xia Sinian made her hold his finger as he watched his daughter wrap her tiny fingers around it. "She is so lovely."

Li Bingbing chuckled, she adjusted Xia Mengjie in her arms, "Well... I guess she's not that bad."

Xia Sinian smiled a bit. He stared closely at Xia Mengjie before he gently stroke her soft cheek with his thumb which made her giggle.

The more he looked at her as Xia Mengjie grew, the more he started realizing something. Xia Mengjie may inherit most of her features from Li Bingbing but her eyes and whenever she smiled, she looked more like her real father, Lu Xian Yu.

Xia Sinian had always had his doubt whether Xia Mengjie was really his daughter since he knew that back then, Li Bingbing had been sleeping with Lu Xian Yu during the time they were not together.

Even if Xia Mengjie ended up being Lu Xian Yu's daughter, Xia Sinian didn't care. Xia Mengjie was like a daughter to him already and he has already fallen in love with the little girl. Whether Xia Mengjie was his daughter or not, Xia Sinian decided to love her the same as if she was his own daughter.

"Why is always 'da'? Why don't you try calling 'ma' instead?" complained Li Bingbing. "It is no fair that you always favor your father more than me!"

Xia Mengjie blinked a few times before she tilted her head as if wondering what her mother was saying. Although in the end, she ended up looking at Xia Sinian again and smiling so angelically toward him, "Da!" She reached out her hands as if wanted to be carried by him.

Xia Sinian chuckled, "Just give it up already, Bingbing. She loves me more than you." He went and took Xia Mengjie from his wife, "She's definitely my little angel."

Li Bingbing huffed, "I can't believe that she ended up being a daddy's girl in such a young age."

"What's wrong with that?" He laughed lightly at that, "Isn't that a good thing?"

On the day of Xia Meilin's wedding, Li Bingbing gave her a call.

Upon seeing Xia Meilin in a wedding dress through the video, Li Bingbing grinned happily for her.

"d.a.m.n girl! You look extra beautiful!" Li Bingbing exclaimed from the video call. In the video call, she had messy hair and she was breastfeeding her daughter, Xia Mengjie.

Xia Meilin couldn't help but smile when she saw Li Bingbing, "Can't you at least dress prettily today?"

"Nuh, no can't do. This little monster is taking up all my time. If I take my eyes off her, she'll wreck the whole place."

Li Bingbing noticed Nian Jiezhen who was standing beside Xia Meilin. She raised an eyebrow when she saw her red cheek. "Oh, so you're the woman that Meimei's been talking about."

Xia Meilin was talking about her to Li Bingbing?

Well, that was just a one time thing when Xia Meilin told her how Nian Jiezhen ended up saving the day.

"My name is Li Bingbing, Meimei's one and only best friend, it's nice to finally meet you." Li Bingbing said with a smile.

Just by looking at Li Bingbing, Nian Jiezhen could already tell that she might be crazier than Xia Meilin. It would be better if she maintained her distance away from her. "Likewise, my name is Nian Jiezhen."

"That looks so painful, did Meimei slapped you hard?"

Li Bingbing laughed lightly, "Don't worry, I was been slapped by her too. It proves that she has finally accepted you as her friend."

Xia Meilin rolled her eyes, "Stop spouting nonsense, Bingbing."

"It's not nonsense, I am just stating the truth. You mark your friends this way." Li Bingbing grinned.

Xia Meilin decided to ignore what she said, "Anyway, where is ge ge?"

"Ah, Sisi went out to buy something." Li Bingbing said before she turned to her daughter and gently rocked her by.

Nian Jiezhen narrowed her eyes as she observed Li Bingbing quietly. From the look of it, Li Bingbing was lying.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"Ah, it looks like it's time for you to go." Li Bingbing said as she turned back to Xia Meilin. She smiled at her and blew her a kiss, "Congratulations on your wedding with the boss, sweetheart."

"Thank you, Bingbing." Xia Meilin let out a gentle smile. "See you later."

After the call ended, Nian Jiezhen handed the bouquet of baby blue and white peonies before Xia Meilin headed toward the door.

As the door was opened for her, her eyes went wide in surprise when she saw Xia Sinian standing in front of her in a black retro suit with a light blue square scarf.

"I've come to pick up the bride." He said with a soft smile on his lips.

Xia Meilin got teary underneath her veil as she said in a choked-up voice, "Sinian-ge…"

"I can't miss my sister's wedding." He offered his arm to her, "If you cry, you'll ruin your makeup."

Xia Meilin pursed her lips as she held his arm, "I'm wearing a waterproof makeup." She really was trying her best not to cry.

"Meilin… be happy, okay?"

Her red lips stretched out into a thin line when she heard what her brother said, "Stop saying something that would make me cry, idiot brother!"

They head straight to the outdoor garden of the hotel for the wedding ceremony.

A beautiful archway was decorated with fresh flowers. Meanwhile, the winding path that led the archway was covered with the petals of white roses.
