Chapter 25: Don't Leave Me

That bad guy didn’t expect she would try to stab him. He immediately flew into a temper, and smashed Jian Rus.h.i.+’s head with a hand, “How dare you!”

Jian Rus.h.i.+ got thrown on the ground, trembling, and also feeling painful. She cried.

That guy tried to ride on her. She then waved her hand to mangle with that knife and cut his arm. And when he tried to check on the injury, Jian Rus.h.i.+ kept waving her hands with the knife and then accidentally cut his neck.

The blood immediately squirted out, spreading all over his body.

And when people found this place, his body had already rotten, and Jian Rus.h.i.+ was curling up in a corner with blood all over her body.

And since then Jian Rus.h.i.+ had changed into another person. And those negative feeling had been growing in her heart since then.

Her parents raised her by their side. Although they had changed a new environment for her, she still couldn’t erase that part of memories. And since then she liked using force to solve problems, like kung fu, boxing…, to vent her relentless heart.

She had totally changed into another person.

When her mother died, she was only in middle school. And her mother’s was  worried about her only daughter in this world.

Over a night, she became an obedient girl. And she had regained her first personality and lost her second personality, nothing different from a normal person.

Picturing the young Jian’s face and the adult Jian’s face overlapped, He Lianze lost in his thought.

He knew who she was now.

He had been taken away and even didn’t have time to say goodbye. After he settled down and went back for her, she had already gone.

And then when he saw her in the bar, he recognized her on the first sight.

She had always been that lovely and cute girl  in front of him. But he had never known that she had gone through so much.

Tang Ge left after telling him the whole story.

He Lianze lit a cigarette out of the door. It had been a long time since he used this thing to calm himself down.

Three years ago Jian Rus.h.i.+ took a French leave and disappeared in his world. And since then, he picked up smoking to soothe his anxiety,

One year’s smoking while looking for her. And then he quitted it.

Because he had a dream in which Jian Rus.h.i.+ told him she didn’t like a chain smoker.

It indeed smelt awful.

After exhaling the last smoke, he ashed it and went into the bedroom.

He wanted to check on Jian Rus.h.i.+.

Their parents weren’t there when both of them were still young. And then they happened to meet each other and became childhood sweethearts.

But no one could predict what would happen the next second. Suddenly his parents came and wanted to take him home. However hard he cried, his parents just ignored it. In his parents’ eyes, he was just being childish.

When thinking it back now, He Lianze still felt scared. Like Tang Ge said, if Jian Rus.h.i.+ hadn’t been strong and lucky enough, he dare not think about the consequences.

How terrible would that man be? How cruel could that man be?

The quiet and soft moonlight could always go with anything, including that delicate face.

Jian Rus.h.i.+ sat on the bed, looking outside the window. Actually she had been awake all the time, “Don’t turn on the light.”

He Lianze was a little surprised, but still he moved forward and held her in his arms, “I’m sorry I didn’t make it that day.”

He was only a boy. He could do nothing against his parents.

Jian Rus.h.i.+ frowned and then pushed him away, showing kind of indifference in her eyes.

He Lianze held her in his arms tightly, and said gently, “It’s all my fault. You can do whatever you want to me, as long as you don’t leave me.”
