94 Town Of Monster Hunters 3

Releasing bloodl.u.s.t unlike they had never sensed the small demonic looking elver looked like the incarnation of death.

"Now I have no idea what you are talking about miss, would you like to talk about that over a beer? I saw you walking over towards the bar."

Keeping his cool the hunter called Henric aproced Lilly with a cold looking smile on his face. Henric wore a reddish brown coat that covered everything other than his head, with a single black square emblem on his chest. The same kind of uniform was sheared by at least 20 other people of the about 300 occupants Lilly had noticed in town since she arrived a little over half an hour ago, and therefore she had made sure to tap into their conversations whenever she had the chance, and after she had scanned one of them with wind magic she had noticed something that was not allowed to exist, a modified piece of Dax's so called technology.

"There's no way I'll drink with Empire sc.u.m that'll kill me first chance they get to take me inside an anti magic barrier."

Having perfectly seen through their scheme, Lilly showed a cold smile while circulating mana inside her body for offensive magic.

"f.u.c.k! Kill her now!"

Realizing that Lilly was going for the kill, Henric decided to do the same as he reached into his coat and grabbed his weapon like his subordinates that followed him, what they pulled out looked like a primitive submachine gun, with a fully automatic low caliber pistol as a base that had a reinforced metal grip added on for extra stability.

"Fire!"

"Too slow~"

Knowing what was going to happen Lilly taped the ground with her heal as she pumped mana into the ground, the result showed itself immediately as Lilly was surrounded by a wall of stone and stone spikes shot up towards her a.s.sailants that was fruitlessly shooting into her rock cover.

"Disperse!"

Sending out quick and precise commands Henric saved all except a few of his subordinates from getting skewered as they dispersed and quickly tried to flank around Lilly's rock cover.

"Naive children! Time for a spanking!"

Lilly was of course not that happy about 20 people suddenly trying to kill her, and her anger had really flared when they had opened fire in the middle of a busy street and hit several of the innocent bypa.s.sers. Shattering the rock wall with strengthening magic Lilly flew forward propelled by her extreme control of air magic while she hurled fragments of rock towards the furthest targets and charged what looked to be the enemy leader.

"No you don't!"

Seeing the move coming from a mile away Henric drew his sword as he had emptied his primary weapon and readied a response against the demonic looking tiny elver.

"You're 800 years too young to even try and kill me!"

Rus.h.i.+ng past Henric Lilly stopped moving and turned her head back towards him as she said coldly.

"And that's one more~"

Taping the ground once Henric's sword split in half.

"Eh?-"

Uttering his last resemblance of a word Henric also split in half right at the gut.

"My new employer really comes up with the greatest ideas~ Making a 'ultrasonic knife' by vibrating air molecules at high speeds you can cut anything softer than a rock~ Now who wants to die next?"

At the same time Terra and Lux had also noticed something wrong with the town, and therefore decided to delay negotiations with the blacksmith.

"Lux."

"Yeah, be ready. Precondition 2."

Giving a nod in response Terra reached into her pocket and clicked some sort of metal contraption with her finger, and the device quickly surrounded her arm halfway up her forearm and formed an armored glove.

"Ready, precondition 2."

Walking through narrow alleyways Terra's face turned cold while Lux's face turned into one large and furious grin.

"Satellite delay is exactly 0.536 seconds, make sure to time it right recruit~"

"Yes yes Lieutenant General~"

Stopping in place at a dead end in an ally, Lux turned around and put out her chest as she spoke in a honeyed voice.

"Hey, hey~ Why don't you people come over here so we can have some fun?~"

Waving out into the empty alleyway 3 men in red cloaks appeared from the shadows.

"Now misters why are you following us? looking for some fun?~"

Approaching the closest man with a bewitching smile on her face Lux inadvertently showed Terra the dark side of the h.e.l.lwalkers, so called 'gray ops'.

"Ah yeah you girls looked so stunning we thought why not? It's not often you see girls as beautiful as you in this place, did you arrive today?"

Responding well to Lux's approach the men all loosened their faces and closed in on Lux that hid her armored glove behind her back.

"Yeah we arrived just today~ Oh, that's quite a coincidence~ Right Terra?"

Looking back towards Terra as she herself was only standing about a meter from the closet cloaked man, Lux completely let her guard down, and in turn the men also calmed down a bit, if Lux was out to kill them she would never turn her head away from them at such a close range.

"It sure is a great coincidence yeah~"

"Wait what are you girls talking about?"

Confused about their giggles the one of the men walked up to Lux as he questioned the lovely ladies his C.O. Had told him to capture or kill at all costs.

""Because we arrived at the same day as you guys die~""

Speaking completely in sync with cold smiles on their faces Lux and Terra both reached behind their backs with their gloved arms and attached something to them as they charged forward and each hit one of the men in the chest as sound gunfire rang out in the cramped ally.

"Wha!-"

The only remaining survivor acted quickly and drew his submachine gun and squeezed the trigger.

"Too slow!"

Grabbing the barrel of the weapon Lux forced it towards the sky while she clenched her armored hand as she moved to uppercut the man, but he was dead before her fist even landed, as the weapon Lux carried fired when she squeezed her hand together into a fist.

"Ah~ The 332 PDW is the perfect weapon for me, it doesn't get in the way of me beating the s.h.i.+t out of someone."

Guardian model 332 personal defence weapon.

Having outgrown its original purpose the PDW or personal defence weapon still remains, even long after the last manned combat vehicle crew which they initially were designed to arm and defend, became obserlite. The PDW itself was an evolutionary offshoot of the earlier SMG or submachine gun, the new system added armor piercing high velocity ammunition to the small, mobile close quarter weapons platform. Finding a market in special ops units, armored cores and police forces the PDW platform still stuck around and was further improved, becoming more and more compact to the very extreme, resulting in the most compact design to date, the Guardian 332. Designed to fit around the operators arm, the 332 is small enough to be worn under a s.h.i.+rt without much issue. In such a small design several curious decisions had to be made, perhaps the most interesting one is the dual barrel system. With the barrel of the weapon being so close to the operators wrist, some hand movements cloud be dangerous, therefore two independent barrels positioned above and below the hand and feed from the central magazine and are locked from firing when the operators hand is in the way. Another curious design feature is the ammunition, normally 2 mm ammunition wouldn't do more than make most marines laugh, but bullets made of nanomesh (Originally designed for microsurgery) that balloon, expand, fragment and explode when hitting bone or pricing armor, the 332 is extremely deadly weapons system that on one would dare take lightly. The Guardian 332 originally remained mostly unknown and overlooked until it was adopted by the 125th combined ops...o...b..tal drop troopers and was successfully used in gray and black ops for a.s.sa.s.sination and HVT acquisition (High value target smash and grab).

"Yeah this weapon really is unfair…"

Examining the deadly weapon there was no larger than a winter glove Terra really didn't know what to think about it.

"Of course it's unfair, that's what makes it so great~"

"Bu-"

"Rule #1 of h.e.l.lwalker combat: A good engagement is one you have already tilted to your favor in some way. As such you'll avoid losses while increasing the hostile's. The very idea of a 'fair fight' is nothing more than a pipedream that get people killed... Come on, let's annihilate the rest of the hostiles before they try anything funny."
