Baron softly snored next to me as I trembled. Under my eyes were bags as I yawned. I didn't get a f.u.c.king wink of sleep last night. My eyes were bloodshot as I started to hallucinate.

I laughed crazily as my exhaustion touched a nerve in my head. Well this was f.u.c.king fun. I pushed the covers back and stood up. I turned to see sunlight enter the room through the large arched window. I walked over to see a large garden. My burning heart cooled down at the calm sight.

I didn't realize I was crying until I felt the tears go down my cheeks. I was pretty sick of everything. The whole change of waking up in this time period and being thrown in this type of situation has been weighing on me. I wonder how my family is faring after hearing of my death. I wonder if I'll ever go back to them.

I put my hand on the window as a small blue b.u.t.terfly landed. The b.u.t.terfly then flew away towards the garden below. I need to stop crying and get my s.h.i.+t together. After all no matter how f.u.c.ked up this is, I was given another chance at living. I need to use it to my advantage.

I sat down on the floor cross legged as I continued to watch the beautiful garden. There are multiple positives to this situation. I am someone from the modern times. I can use my knowledge to have a lucrative business here. Or I could even prepare plans for advanced technologies and sell them to several kingdoms. The possibilities are endless. Or I could use my hidden gift and draw comics. I chuckled.

I've spoken too soon. I looked around the room and found a dress on a hanger facing the bed. I blushed. The maids probably came in this morning and saw us together. Baron chuckled as he watched me. I felt his green eyes burn a hole through my side as he looked at the exposed skin. I quickly put on the dress. It was very elegant for a girl like me.

The dress was full of ruffles and had puffy sleeves. It came down to slightly expose cleavage. Are women in the old times ever scared of getting a cold? They cover everything so modestly but leave their b.r.e.a.s.t.s out in the open! How contradictory. I looked down to see shoes that weren't high heels but are also not flats. The image of Josh and Ash came to mind.

I looked around there were no daggers or guns in sight. I sighed. I now have no defense. I walked towards the door and turned the k.n.o.b. Suddenly an arm pushed the door closed.

Did he think that this was an action that would make me swoon? Get a clue b.i.t.c.h. I'm tired and frankly as annoyed as f.u.c.k. I do not need Baron's att.i.tude right now.

"My dear Mila, in order to unlock the door you must say the magic words."

I turned to see a s.h.i.+rtless Baron smirk at me. I quickly brought my eyes back to his face as my cheeks flushed. I pushed him back as I turned to open the door once more.

"I'm sorry Baron but I don't really have time for you right now. We only have six days left before s.h.i.+t's going to go down."

I could imagine Baron's confused look at the phrase that I've just used. I chuckled. Baron then leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"Just say the magic words my dear wife. I'll give you a hint. The magic phrase is three words."

I sighed as I mentally kicked myself. I turned to Baron and pecked him on the lips with a soft kiss.

"I love you. There, Baron are you happy now?"

I looked to see Baron touch his lips as his cheeks turned bright red. He stepped back and looked to the left in order to avoid my gaze. I smiled. He was quite adorable at times. I opened the door but Baron held my hand. I looked back to see him blush and look down.

"Could I trouble you to spare some of your time to walk in the garden with me later."

I smiled as I felt my heart flutter. As the sun kissed Baron's golden hair, his green eyes sparkled. I stood on my tip toes and pecked his cheek.

"I guess that I can spare some time for you but under one condition."

Baron eyes widened as I mentioned a condition.

"You must bring something sweet with you."

Baron's features softened as he smiled at me. He leaned in and kissed the top of my head.

"Your wish is my command sweetie."
