Baron nodded as he sat in front of me on the bed.

"Can I guess any secret? Even if it is one related to your origins?"

Baron's face immediately turned thunderous as I mentioned his origins. Lord above how bad was his childhood?

"It has to be a secret related to previous relations.h.i.+ps."

I chuckled. The man in front of me who is a vulgar playboy pirate is curious about my previous relations.h.i.+ps? How basic.

"I am going to guess that you have slept with at least 30 women."

Baron laughed as he leaned in and teared off a piece of my corset near my upper thigh. My hands shook with rage. Baron's eyes sparkled as he looked at my now exposed upper thigh. I sighed. It was just a piece of skin, why was he looking at it so much?

"You are the first real relations.h.i.+p that I've had Mila. And I haven't slept with anyone but you. All the other women I've been with I would simply make drunk and let them sleep as I stole their treasure."

What a ruthless b.a.s.t.a.r.d. He spoke as if he was proud of what he had done. Mother f.u.c.ker that's called cat fis.h.i.+ng in the 21st century. I slapped my forehead and said.

"It's your turn now Baron."

Baron smiled as he looked at me.

"You've had no relations.h.i.+ps previous to this one."

I leaned in and punched him in the gut. I pulled back my numb fist. What the f.u.c.k were this man's abs made of? Golden doubloons? Baron coughed as he looked at me annoyed.

"Hey! What was that for?"

"You've guessed wrong dumba.s.s."

"But that wasn't part of the game's rules!"

I chuckled.

"These are my rules a.s.shole. Your rules were too favorable to you after all. I don't play a game unless it's fair."

I swung my legs over the bed and started to walk away.

"I could just walk away if you don't agree."

Baron held my hand as he looked at me with a pleading look.

"Please don't leave Mila. I promise to behave. I really do want to know more about you."

An arrow hit my heart. How did this perfect human being manage to look so adorable. I felt like I would be making the worst sin if I rejected him. I sighed.

Wait a second! Why did he want to know more about me in this way? I held my fists back from punching the smirk right off his face. It was my turn now.

"I'm going to change the subject now Baron. I'm going to guess what your goal is with becoming a pirate."

Baron flinched when I said "pirate". Oh? Did he hate that label? Why?

"Okay Mila go ahead."

"I believe that you are investigating the Bermuda Triangle. We are going in it's direction after all. But what I don't know is why you want to go there. Simple interest is not a reason why you would be willing to sacrifice your life. I'm going to guess that it's not the treasure that interests you but the distance that you will be away from a certain person you hate."

I suddenly felt a flutter of a kiss on my forehead. I blushed as Baron sat back.

"Hey a.s.shole! That wasn't part of the rules!"

Baron laughed.

"Well I've just added it. If you guess right I will award you with a kiss. Do you know how many women want this reward?"

I looked at him with disinterest.

"Is that so Baron dearest? Wow! It must be because you are the most handsome man in the world. Woah, I'm soooo jealous of how popular you are."

Baron looked at me in confusion. I set my head in my hands and sighed heavily.

Sarcasm must still not be something known during the 1650's. I waved my hand dismissively. The good thing was that I was sure of Baron's expedition. Also I am now sure that Baron had indeed done some terrible sin as the maids have stated. Why is he so reluctant to talk about it?

I plan on going to the Bermuda Triangle as well. After all I still need to meet a seer as this village does not have one. For some reason I feel like this trip to the Bermuda Triangle is going to be quite beneficial.

Baron's yell suddenly interrupted my thoughts.

"Well it's my turn!"

I nodded and yawned. Why was Baron so energetic?

Due to the pain in my side I haven't been getting much sleep these days. Also the events of the date and Baron's late night craziness have drained me.

"The reason why you don't want to be my wife is because you have a boyfriend back home in Avalon."

Stupidity times ego equals a f.u.c.king idiot. This formula ladies and gentleman describes our great Baron-sama. Let us pray to the G.o.ds that he be cured from this terrible disease. It is chronic but there is hope for a treatment. Amen.

I leaned in to pinch his cheek when he swiftly kissed my lips.

That's f.u.c.king it. A nerve throbbed on my forehead. This f.u.c.king a.s.shole was getting on my nerves! I calmed down and asked politely.

"Bar-o-n. Why did you kiss me?"

Baron flushed as he turned his face.

"I kissed you so that you would forget the f.u.c.ker back home."

Oh. Oh. Oh..........THE f.u.c.k IS THAT LOGIC???????!?!!

I'm f.u.c.king speechless. I can't even anymore. Despite myself I started laughing. Baron was quite adorable. Despite his bada.s.s side, he had a soft side to him as well. I chuckled and patted his head. Baron's blond hair felt like silk. I ran my fingers through it. Unbelievable. How could he have such soft hair without modern day hair care? I'm jealous. Suddenly I looked down to see him look at me intensely.

s.h.i.+t! I've awakened the beast! Baron then pounced on me and hugged me to his chest. He kissed the top of my head and covered us with the bedsheets.

Huh? Was he not going to do anything?

"Don't look too disappointed my dear wife. I'm quite tired tonight. We will continue this another night. We have many more together anyways."

Baron's warmth enveloped me as his arms held me close. I could hear his beating heart. I closed my eyes. I'll let this slide and not deliver a retort. I was too tired anyways. I wonder what tomorrow will hold.
