136 Worried Daniel

Ever since they started living together, he had become even more attached. He had gotten used to going to sleep and waking up next to her. And now that she wants to travel for a week, he felt sullen. He had said a lot of excuses to make her stay like he was a child not letting his mom leave.

This time, they had bought groceries because he had said that he would miss the foods that she cooks for him everyday. So Samantha told him that she will cook a lot of food in advance so that he will have enough to last him for the whole week. Something that made him quiet because no matter what he said, Samantha had an answer.

He loaded everything into his trunk unwillingly and Samantha found him very cute.

"Honey, what are you sulking about? I'll be gone for only a week.", she said as soon as they got inside the car.

"Can you not go? Or wait… why don't we go together next time?", he tried.

"This is different, I will be going with Becca and I wanna learn from her too. She is more experienced in that area. Also, yes! Of course, we can go on a trip together next time. We'll definitely do that when you're no longer so busy with your company… okay?"

Daniel couldn't say anything else, it was indeed true that he was busy with company matters especially when his father is preparing to step down from being the chairman.

When they arrived home, Samantha started cooking. She planned to cook three dishes that evening and also some more dishes the next day.

It was already almost midnight when Daniel woke up and found that Samantha wasn't in bed yet. He came downstairs and saw that his fiance was cleaning the mess that she made in the kitchen.

"Samantha, it's already midnight. Are you still not done yet?", he asked as he walked towards the refrigerator to get some water.

"Hey, honey. I'm already done with cooking but I'm letting it cool down first before keep it in the fridge. So I'm cleaning up for the meantime.", she answered.

Daniel put down the bottled water on the counter and pulled Samantha towards him. "Don't go."

She chuckled sweetly, "Awww... are you gonna miss me that much?". She pulled him in for a kiss in which he gladly accepted.

"I just don't want to part with you.", he said in between kisses.

"Honey… you're so sweet. And I also don't want to part with you. But I haven't even left yet, stop being sad."

"Fine. But you have to make up for it and starting now.", Daniel spoke with his voice so low and s.e.xy.

Samantha already knew what he was talking about. She's already used to his man being insatiable. She can sometimes barely keep up with him but honestly, how could she say no to Daniel Cho?

"Okay… what do you have in mind, hot stuff?", she purred in his ear but before she could even finish her question, Daniel already lifted her up and had her legs wrapped around his waist.

"You. Me. Here. That is what I have in my mind right now.", Daniel hissed as he trailed kisses from Samantha's jaw down to her collar bone when he placed her on top of the island counter.

"Really? In the kitchen, Mr. Cho?", she replied.

Daniel lifted his head and gave her a devilish smile. "I would do it anywhere with you, Ms. Kim."

Two days later and it was already the day when Samantha leaves with Becca for the countryside trip.

The two of them were in the kitchen as Samantha prepared some snacks for the road. Daniel opened the refrigerator and what he saw inside shocked him.

The fridge was full of food stored in gla.s.s containers, he gasped as he looked at all of them.

"Honey… I thought you were only going away for a week?", Daniel asked nervously.

Samantha glanced at the anxious man who was stunned in front of the refrigerator, she replied, "Yes. Just for a week."

His brows scrunched up and he turned to her. "Then why is there so much food? It doesn't look like you are going for only one week! This amount of food could last me for… a month! Are you going to be gone for that long?", he worried.

"You're being silly, Daniel. The food would go bad for that long. And it's only 1 week okay?", she hugged him in an attempt to cheer him up. "You can share it with Liam or a.s.sistant Ahn. Don't eat alone, and don't eat with other women alone."

He chuckled at her silliness. "No, I don't want to share it with them. Your cooking is only for me."

About an hour later.

"Are you really going?", Daniel asked when he loaded Samantha's luggage in Becca's trunk.

She went up to him and clutched her arms around his neck. "Don't miss me too much. I'll be back before you know it.", she kissed him.

He held her and sighed. "Call me everyday and update me wherever you go. It doesn't matter what time it is. Got it?"

She stood upright and raised her hand to salute him, "Yes, sir!"

The two women got in the car and drove away leaving Daniel feeling heavy hearted. Apart from feeling a little sad about Samantha's short trip, there was this inexplicable feeling that was bothering him. But he brushed it off thinking that it was just him being worried about nothing.

At Country K's airport.

A private plane had just landed on the tarmac and a tall man in a pinstripe suit came out of it. He was surrounded by men in black suit and black sungla.s.ses with a wire attached to their ear.

"Mr. De Luca, welcome to Country K. We have prepared a house for you to stay in, what would you like to do first?", a middle-aged man asked.

The man looked far ahead of him, and in a dangerous tone he ordered, "Find me Becca Wise."
