The technician heard what he said and wanted to ask what he was talking about but he didn't had the guts to ask.

15th August 12 am the apocalypse started, the virus became more deadly and affected the human those with weak immunity immediately became zombies and started to eat their own kin mother chewed on their childs, Son's bit off their mother, Husbands biting their wives, Families were destroyed that night.

'Well at least I will now be able to enter the Soldier cla.s.s' thought Matt as he called out his status.

For more than a month Matt tried his best to increase his Strength and Agility but they didn't budged and when the vitality reached 19 as well it stopped increasing as well. From that Matt knew understood that he can't breakthrough like that and would most likely need Zombie Gels or Survival points for that and now he have one of them.

BOOM

An explosion was heard by Matt before he could increase his stats not far away from the hotel, Matt looked at the direction from where the noise came and saw flames reaching upto the height 20 or 30 feets in the air.

"That! That's where a petrol pump was? Someone crashed there" said the technician from behind Matt.

Matt turned his head to look at the technician and saw that he hadn't turned into a zombie meaning he had good immunity and since Matt didn't wanted to kill him as well he decided to lock him in a room for now and decide what to do him later on.

"Aaahhhhh....!" "HELP!" shouts started to come out from different places, some of them were from the hotel while some were from the road down below.

*BOOM BANG BAAM*

Although it was 12 am in the night Matt could still see may cars zooming past the road but some of the cars crashed into the others, causing a big accident and when some good samaritans tried to help they were bitten by the people they were helping.

"AAAAHHHHH!!" screams became prevelant and some peope started to get out of there houses and hotel rooms to check what was happening.

A BIG mistake on their part.

"What is happening out there?" came Matt's brother-in law Paul's voice from the room they were locked in.

"Everything is fine big brother I am just talking with the military that's all" Matt replied as kept the bodies of Brigadier General Richards and his men in the inventory he wasn't showing his family this side of him.

"Matt is that you?" asked Maria

"Yes, mom it's me" Matt said as he stored all the dead bodies in the inventory then opened the door of the room his family was locked in.

"Oh My son" Maria called as she hugged her son, she was worried that the military will take him away but here he was all fine allowing him take deep breaths of relifes.

"Aaaahhhh!!" before the reunion could stay for long a shout was heard right outside of their room in the hallway.

"What is that?" asked Suzy

"Nothing! It's nothing Suzy, don't worry uncle Matt will look into it" Matt said

"Son! What are you doing?" asked his father Jonathan.

"Dad! My friends are in the rooms right next to hours and i don't want them to get caught into whatever is happening outside, so I have to make sure that they don't get out and we need to know what is happining don't we" Matt stated.

"Ok then be careful" said Jonathan, though he didn't knew why he didn't forced his son more but he somehow felt that his son would be able to take care of himself.

Matt walked towards the main door of the room opened it and went outside while closing it behind him.

The moment he stepped outside he saw 6 people walking in the hallways, 3 of them were wearing hotel staffs uniform while the othr 3 were in regular clothes. They had decayed looking eyes with milky perly skin, they smelled of sludge and rotting fleshstale feet and sweaty socks.

"So it's the hotel staff that got caught along with some curious peoples who couldn't eep their door closed" Matt said

The moment the 6 zombies saw Matt they started moving towards him while stumbling and staggering. There are only 6 let's take them out first Matt thought as he took out his kukri as the first Zombie reached him. Matt swings his kukri and remove the head off the zombie and and foul smell from his blood permates his nose. Normal people would have started vomiting and Matt with his advance senses had it much harder then others but living in the apocalypse this is the least that he had to face.

After the first Zombie Matt started to move forward as he couldn't wait for them to rech him standing in fromt of Sarah's room he killed the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Zombies as well with the same swing taking their head off. But then someone else opened their door and to Matt's horror it was Susan who did and she had the gal to even step outside.

"SUSAN GET INSIDE!" MAtt shouted as the last Zombie was standing right behind her.

Susan was shocked to hear Matt shout at her but then she smelled something foul from behind and she saw that Matt wasn't looking at her but something behind her, curious to know what it was she turned her head to look behind only to find a man with decayed eyes and peraly white skin and back teeth, along with the foul smell she had seen enough movies to know what the person was and became a staute in fear.

"AAAHHHHHHhh!"
