"Sir he etered the emergency exit from the 76th floor" replied the Private

"Attention men! a man in blue hood has taken down Seargent Terrance and three of his men on the 77th floor stair case. He had entered the emergency staircase from 76th floor. I want all of you to find him do you understand" said Brigadier General Richards.

"YES SIR" came the reply in unison.

"He has taken the guns and ammunitions from our men so stay alert and stay in a group of three" stated Brigadier General Richards

"YES SIR"

After hearing the orders from Brigadier General Richards every one of his men started to find this man. Though they didn't knew who that man was but BRigadier General Richards was sure that it was Matthew Smith otherwise he wouldn't have attacked the Military.

Their were 4 groups of three men each looking for Matt, they checked every floor while using the the emergency staircase but they didn't found a shadow of him.

While everyone was trying to find Matt he was getting down from the stairs of the building right next to the one of Empire State Building while in different hood as he had already kept the blue one in his inventory. The moment Matt entered the emergency staircase he used the window in the emergency staircase to look at the building behind him and disappeared from there. Then hw reappeared on the roof of that building.

The distance between the two buildings was more than 50 meters but Matt's spirt had grown from before and he could travel 70 meters distance now so it wasn't any problem to cover that distance for him.

"Man I like this! Let's take the military for a tour of New York" Matt mumbled as he got out of that building and walk away from there.

Deciding till here Matt went to a different place and called his father from the payphone there. He knew that the Military will most probably still be there so he called and informed his father telling him the place he was touring with his friend. One of the reasons for him doing that was the military doesn't take away his family from there as Matt has time after time signaled that he will come there and if the military couldn't catch while outside they will still be able to catch him there.

So just like that Matt took the Military after him to different places sometimes getting out of there without hurting any men but sometimes taking down some of the men but none of them saw his face and neither the cameras so they couldn't pin that on Matt. Matt hated the military now but in the apocalypse they did their best to protect the country to the best of their abilities so he did his best to only knock them thats all.

These were all the places that Matt had taken the Military behind him while they on their carsMatt was on his foot trying to increase his stats but it was not happening by the time Matt finished it was already 10 pm.

Matt had taken down 16 men from the military while making them follow him from one place to another.

While walking around he also called Sarah to ask the situation around there, "How is my family doing?"

"Your family is house arrested in their room and when I and Susan tried to meet them the 2 military men who were in their room stopped us from meeting them" Sarah replied.

"Just 2 more hours and it would be over, I will make sure that those men get out of there before that, thanks for the info Sarah" Matt said after which he disconnected the call and switched off the phone as he didn't wanted to take risk whether the miltary was tapping onto Sarah's call or not.

Matt wasn't wrong in normal circ.u.mstances the military would have done something like that but since Matt was continuesly calling his father the military didn't thought of tapping the phones of others.

For the next haour and halff, Matt didn't called his father when it was 11:55 pm he called him, but the call wasn't normal he used the video call to call his father as he wanted to see for himself how many men were staying there with his family.

*Ring Ring*

Jonathan picked the call and looked at his phone but the due to the darkness of the place Matt was standing he couldn't see his face.

"Son, where are you? I can't see your face" Jonathan said.

"Sorry dad there isn't any light here so you can't see my face" Matt said annd before he could ask anything from his dad, someone else s.n.a.t.c.hed the cellphone from him.

Matt was surprised to see it was Brigadier General Richards who s.n.a.t.c.hed the phone from his father.

"Matthew Smith!" snarled Brigadier General Richards

"Oh General what are you doing there?" Matt asked

"I am done with your games Matthew Smith either you come here or I will take your whole family with me. Let me show you how serious I am" threatened Brigadier General Richards as he signaled his men and they pushed Matt's whole family in a bedroom and locked them there showing it all to Matt through video call.

"*Sigh* You know general I was aginst my last mission before General but now I am all over it" Matt said

"What are you talking about what mission?" asked General but than he saw Matt turn his head and his face became a litle visible and he was even able to see the Building behind him and was surpised to see that it was none other than the Royal hotel.

Matt was on the rooftop of the 4 story restaurant right next to the hotel, moreover the distance from the hotel rooftop to the balcony of the room where Matts family was staying was 60 meters at most, and Matt had already regained his spirit after eating the meat of level 2 wolf.

So he disconnected the phone and in the next moment he appeared on the balcony of their room.

"What!?" excalimed the General in surprise but before he could say anything else Matt had already taken out his desert eagle and shot eight times emptying his cartage on the Brigadier General Richards and his men. There were total 9 men along with Brigadier General Richards in the room, so only one of them was left alive and it was the technician.

"Ahhh....." the techncian shouted when he saw the dead bodies of all the miltary men. He wasn't like them as he was just a young man may be elder than matt but he definetly wasn't a Military men so he got scared easily.

"Shut up!" Matt said to the men and pointed the gun to Technician.

Though the gun was empty but unlike Matt the technician didn't know about that so he shut his mouth.

*Ding Dong Ding*

The wall clock in the room rang hearing which he looked at the clock and saw it was already 12 am.

"So it's here!"
