I release a [Dimension Claw] towards Lilixira.

Wings of light sprout from her back. As though having read my [Dimension Claw], she flies in a helical path, dodging by a paper-thin margin. I assume [Holy Wing] is supplementing her [Float] skill.

I didnt think Id ever see a human able to dodge my [Dimension Claw] like this. Continuing to close the distance, I check her status.

I see, shes gotten a fair bit stronger. Her level hasnt changed, but all of her stats have increased by about 40%. That must be the effect of her absorbing the divine skill. Her skill levels have increased, too.

Though its still nowhere near enough to fight me Of course, you knew that already?

As Lilixira is desperately weaving between my [Dimension Claws], I swoop behind her and raise my foreleg to strike. She twists around, pointing her staff at me. Light gathers at the tip of the staff.

I knew you would attack like this. [Holy Sphere]!

A sphere of light shoots towards me. I swing my foreleg down. The [Holy Sphere] scatters against my claws. A crack opens in my skin, and some of my blood splatters. The damage isnt too severe though.

I push through and slash her, knocking her down towards the ground. Her back slams against the bottom of the cliff. Her robe tears and a huge amount of blood spurts out.

The [Holy Sphere] offset the power a bit, but it still should have dealt serious damage to her. Its true that her stats have increased, and she also has the eye thats appeared in her forehead, which was probably how she predicted my movement. Shes even using [High Quick] to try and minimise her critical speed deficit.

But, shes still far behind me. Even with all this, shes only about as strong as a magic-specialised Eldia.

By the time I see it, a crack has already formed in the clay guardians face. Its the precursor to its [Direct Burst]. Lilixira used herself as a decoy, letting her summon a clay guardian behind me with [Spirit Servant]. Its quite the devious last minute strategy.

After Eldias death freed a slot, she collected a [Clay Guardian] all for the sake of this single attack.

Before I can dodge, the [Direct Burst] explosion pierces my body.

I only noticed now, but This things explosion must have defence and armour-piercing properties. I can feel my body surface being blasted away, and the flesh beneath burning.

[Holy Sphere]!

With perfect timing, Lilixira props up her bloodstained body and sends another mass of light towards shooting me. The holy light pierces through where my side where my scales have been peeled away by the [Direct Burst].

She really is impressive She still doesnt intend to lose to me. I didnt think shed be able to land a serious blow against me this late.

Its true that if Howgrey were here, or if Aro and the others were being made to fight against me, I probably would have lost. So in the end, the difference between us came down to our allies.
