I fly through the fog, chasing Lilixira.

Beelzebub cost me some time, but I can still easily keep track of her. Ill take her down here. Ill end my twisted fate with her, and crush the expectations of Gods Voice.

Ive defeated Dragon King Eldia. Magic Beast King Beelzebub got away, but he should be on the verge of death. There shouldnt be enough Holy Knights left to pose a significant force.

The problematic Howgrey is being fought by Volk. Aruane got away, and the atlach-nacha should still be in her captivity, but Hopefully, Aro and the treant will have cornered her by now and are in the middle of rescuing the atlach-nacha.

Lilixira no longer has any pawns left to protect her from my overwhelming status advantage. Ill force her into a direct battle, and end it quickly.

If I let her be, she could get away and pose an issue in the future. Im not sure if theres still any human or monster left in this world that could threaten me, but Either way, Im not going to give her that leeway.

I check my status. I still have about 60% of my MP remaining. It should be more than enough to finish off Beelzebub and kill Lilixira.

I cant imagine shed still have additional forces that shes kept in hiding. Theres no way shes had that much leeway. If she still had a card up her sleeve, she would have taken it out sooner.

Its true that Lilixiras been the one dictating the flow of this battle. Shes been thoroughly avoiding a direct fight with me, and has been throwing her pawns at me to efficiently cut down my HP and MP. The situations gotten a lot better since Aro and the treant have taken on Aruane, and Volk has taken on Howgrey, but it doesnt change the fact that Ive been dancing to her tune for the most part.

Still, Ive got plenty of MP left, and Im able to prevent her from getting away. Was Beelzebub trying to discourage me? Would he do something like that?

Lilixiras [Spirit Servant] skill has a restraining effect on the mind. But even if it could make Beelzebub act against his beliefs, could it really coerce him into using psychological warfare? I didnt get the impression that he was interested in anything other than direct combat.

Is there something important Im overlooking? Could Lilixira have some additional fighting potential hidden somewhere?

It should be impossible. Theres no way shes had enough leeway to hold anything back. But something feels off to me.

In her hand is a black pulsing lump. A strange haze is covering it.

For monsters, simply acquiring a divine skill doesnt result in a sudden increase to stats. The benefit mostly comes from the improved evolution options.

I see Lilixira drifting up from her mount, avoiding my [Dimension Claw]. The zephyrs chest splits into two, and it falls down to the bottom of the cliff.
