"With his girlfriend?!" Lannie exclaimed as she shakes Anna's shoulders. "I'm so upset that we missed meeting her!" From time to time, she keeps hearing from Nathalia and Zen that their friend, Josh is not introducing his girlfriend to them. And now that this "girlfriend" has finally shown itself, she missed that chance to meet her.

"Gosh." Anna started with a bright smile plastered on her face. "Describe her to us. I wanna know everything."

"She's a beauty, but I'm pretty sure that that is not the reason why Josh fell for her. She goes to an all-girls school. Also, Josh is a bit overprotective of her. He won't let me and Zen shake hands with his girlfriend. Such a selfish brat."

Aaron and Zen were both shocked when they saw Josh kissing a girl directly on the lips. And without even asking who the girl is, they both concluded that she is the girlfriend Josh is talking about. Josh introduced the girl to them, and when Aaron wanted to shake hands with her, Josh slapped his hand hard. 

It was not the pain that surprised him, it was the reaction that Josh gave to him. It's the same reaction when his father scares off the men who try to get near his mother.

"But why is Zen being so dramatic about it?" Lannie asked in confusion. Now that Zen knows who is the girl Josh is seeing, she thought that Zen would be sending a lot of text messages to Josh and tease the guy for having such a beautiful girlfriend. But it seems like her thinking was wrong.

"He's like that because the cold-hearted Josh got himself a pretty girlfriend, while this very friendly boy..." Aaron spoke as he points at Zen's direction. "Does not have a girlfriend. You could also say that he is jealous because he does not have one."

Aaron has the urge to tease Zen more, but looking at how dejected Zen's expression is, Aaron is somewhat feeling bad about it. 'Poor guy.' He inwardly commented.

"I am not jealous! I will never be jealous of Jos.h.!.+" Zen strongly admits that he is not jealous of the fact that Josh got a lover before him.

In unison, the trio spoke, "Yes. You are jealous of Josh."

With clear sadness in his eyes, Zen spoke, "You guys are the worse of the worse." Instead of comforting him with good words, they kept telling him that he is jealous and that he lost to Josh.

"Wow. To think that someone can actually stand Josh's cold att.i.tude is quite amazing if you ask me." On the day that Nathalia is not around, Josh's mysterious girlfriend finally showed herself. Although she did not meet the girl, she still somehow felt bad for Nathalia.

"How can she put up with it? I mean, Josh is a good guy, but his coldness is just a bit too much. Even I can't handle it." Lannie commented. She also promised herself that when the next time Josh's girlfriend shows up, Lannie will ask about the story of how they met.

"She and Josh are still together now for months, and I'm guessing that she is someone who can handle Josh. So there is nothing to worry about. And you never know, Josh might be a different guy in front of her."

When they heard that from Anna, they all look at her as if she has gone insane for thinking that. Josh Visser acting like a different person in front of his lover? That is something that everyone who knows Josh won't believe in so easily.

"You're watching way too much drama, Anna. I mean, this is Josh we are talking about. There is no way that's going to happen." As Josh's childhood friend, Zen strongly believes that Josh is not gonna act differently just because of a woman. And if that is the case, Zen believes that he needs to start from zero, and once again get to know Josh.

"I'm not watching too much drama, Zen." Anna scoffed in annoyance. "Just look at how Kyle is treating me, is he treating me the same way he treats other people?"

"Okay. I see your point. However, there is one difference though," Zen stated, then a smirk appeared in his face. "Josh is already in a relations.h.i.+p, how about you and Kyle? You are not even in a relations.h.i.+p yet, so don't compare your situation to Josh's."

With that, Anna pulled Zen's ear. Zen screamed in pain, Lannie and Aaron only watched him. They do not have the energy to defend him.

"Seriously. That guy is stupid. Why would he say something like that." Lannie sighed in disbelief. Sometimes, she wonders if Zen is okay on the brain because he kept on doing things and sayings that he should not. "Because of him talking without any thinking, he gets into trouble with my brother. How stupid."

"He likes to dig his own grave. Let him be. Let's just sit back and enjoy the show." Aaron has long gone done reminding Zen to think before speaking. Apparently, no matter how many times he says it, it goes into one ear and out on the other.

After making herself satisfied with pulling Zen's ear, Anna turns around and said to the other two, "I'm leaving now. I still have to meet up with a certain someone." Every time she thinks about the situation she's going to have in a moment later, her heart beats fast and she does not like it. She felt that she's going to collapse the moment she saw his eyes.

"Well, good luck. And also, go say hi for my grandfather for me, okay?" Anna nodded at Lannie's request and left the place.

While watching Anna walking away from them, Aaron spoke in a worried tone. "Do you think that Anna will be fine?"

Since his sister likes Kyle very much, Aaron is sure that Anna wants to recognized by Elijah Robertson. And in order to have that recognition, it seems like his sister is going to have to face one of the great challenges in her life.

"I don't know. Let's just pray for her."

Anna is now in the cafe and she arrived earlier than the expected time. Every second that she sat here inside the cafe, she felt like she's going to faint because of too much stress she's putting herself into.

While Anna is anxiously waiting for the person she's meeting with today, someone who is not so far away from her saw her. And that someone can't help but get curious about why Anna is making such an expression. That someone would the owner of the cafe, Claire Tram.

"Anna, what are you doing here alone?" Claire asked the moment she is right next to Anna. "And you look anxious. Are you okay?"

Anna was startled when she heard Claire's voice, she did not expect to see Claire today. And it took her a few seconds before answering that question given to her. "I'm here because someone wants to talk to me today, and yeah. I'm anxious and I feel like I'm gonna die because of it."

Anna kept telling herself that she is only going to meet Kyle's grandfather. Talk about that and that might not be so bad. At least that is what she hopes for.

Originally, Claire thought that the person Anna is going to meet today would Kyle, but after seeing her overly anxious expression, it seems like she is wrong.

"Who are you gonna meet with?" For a Coleman like Anna to get this anxious is quite a sight for Claire, and it intrigues her. Also, at the same time, it's making her worry.

"K-Kyle's grandfather." Now Anna regrets coming in way too early. She thinks that she looks like an idiot who is waiting for someone else's grandfather. 'Why am I being like this?' Anna inwardly cried.

"Elijah? You're going to meet up with that guy? The guy who is the big hater of the Colemans?" With the resources that she has behind the shadows, Claire knows about the big misunderstanding that the two big families have for each other. And she also knows that the misunderstanding has been lifter, but this particular person, Kyle's grandfather, is still refusing to believe the truth and still hates the Colemans.

Hearing that the person Anna is going to meet at her cafe, Claire can't help but laugh at the situation.

"Yes. That's the guy." Anna said. "What should I do, Aunt Claire? I'm nervous. What if I said something bad and cause another misunderstanding between our families?"

Claire didn't answer Anna's question right away, she chuckled at how cute Anna is. Elijah is still not here, and yet Anna is already trying hard not to get rejected by Kyle's grandfather.

In the corner of her eyes, Claire noticed an old man coming near their direction. She can already guess who that person is.

"Anna, just be yourself. That's all you need to do, and you'll be fine." After saying that Claire gets back on her post.
