429 Revenge 430: Your Husband Is A Big Flir

Despite the horrible things that happened to Marcus, Marcus is glad that all of those horrible things that happened to Mary, Mary ended up being a part of the Coleman family. And she is now happy with a family that really cares for her.

Aaron stared at his grandfather and said, "I'm gonna be blunt, and I'm sorry being blunt, but I don't like what you just said, Grandfather. I hate them. Even if I hate it, you... you were right. Mom would not be here if it weren't for them."

Marcus chuckled and said, "Oh. You seriously got that character of yours from your father. It's annoying." Although he is annoyed by Aaron's bluntness and rudeness, he can't help but just put on a smile. He really missed having quality time together with his family.

Ever since what happened with James, they never had the time to have a good quality time together.

In a quiet room, both Mary and Arion are laying in bed. Not saying any words to each other. The conversation that they had with Martha really did a number on their stress.

First, it was only an emergency call from their daughter that Marcus fainted, and when they got home, they got his by the secrets that Martha and Marcus were hiding from them.

"I hate this. I hate being kept in the dark, Arion." Mary knows that she has no right to say such words because she also hides things from her children, but this time she felt that it's a different matter.

Her husband didn't bother to tell her anything about the Ricci's threats and just disappeared for so many years. And now, her father-in-law and Martha didn't confide her about their plans to lure out the Ricci family.

Every bad that events that have been happening lately, Mary can't help but think that all of it is connected to the Ricci family. She is sick and tired of hearing that family name. Even sometimes, she is disgusted that the blood running through her veins is the same as theirs.

"I'm sorry." Arion blurted out. He could not think of anything else to say and just apologize for everything that he did to his wife. He was in wrong and he knows that. No matter how many times he apologizes, nothing will ever change and all he could think of is to make it up to her for his absence in her life.

"I'm sorry too. I should not have involved with you in the first place. If I had not, then you wouldn't be getting so many headaches because of them." For the longest time, the one who has been supporting her against her so-called family was her husband. He has always been there for her, and all she can do is cry that she's afraid of them.

The people who knew about her is scare of her, but once they get to know her more properly, their opinion about her might change. She's strong on the outside, but she's actually weak on the inside. She can't even have the guts to face her nightmares, and she feels bad that her husband is always helping her while she's doing nothing.

Arion sat up, then he looks down at Mary and he said, "Mary, don't you ever say that. Sure, it's a headache trying to do everything that I can to protect our family, but that does not mean I regret tying knots with you. If you didn't show up in my life, then I wouldn't be the person that I am now, and the wouldn't be here. We wouldn't have two incredible children."

Whenever Mary talks like this, Arion always gets upset about it. He can't stand it. But what can he do? No matter what, Mary will still be haunted by her childhood trauma. The only he can think of to fix this problem is to remove the culprits of that trauma.

With a slight grin plastered on her face, Mary looks straight into Arion's eyes and said, "You know, whenever you talk like that, it's making me very happy, and I hate being 'very happy.'"

"Well, what can I say, your husband is a big flirt." Arion slowly moves his face towards Mary, but before his lips could even touch hers, someone loudly knocked on the door. "Who is it?!" Arion angrily asked. He is so upset that someone ruined the perfect for him to have his wife.

"It's us, Father." Aaron's voice was heard from the outside of the room.

"If you have something to talk about with me, we can do it later. I'm having a conversation with your mother." Arion said.

"Uh... I don't think so. Anna and I really need to talk to you, Father." Aaron replied straightforwardly without any hesitation.

With a smirk, Mary teasingly whispered to her husband, "Open the door, honey. They are not gonna go away just because you said so." Truthfully said, Mary is quite disappointed that she and her husband didn't go all the way, but at the same time, she's thankful that someone interrupted them.

"I can't believe this is happening," Arion mumbled, but Mary heard him loud and clear.

"How could be that irritated, that's your son."

"He's also your son." After saying that, Arion walks towards the door and opened it. The twins saw the upset look on their father's face, and they can tell that interrupted something they both should not have.

"Uh... I really hope you two are not planning on doing what I think because it's not really a good time to do it." Aaron carefully expressed his thoughts. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I would love to have another sibling running around the mansion, but it is just not a good time to do it. If you know what I'm trying to say."

"Brother, I think they know what you're trying to say. There's no need for you to explain that much." Anna is now feeling awkward that she and her brother ruined their parents' moment together.

Hearing that Aaron faked a cough, then he put on his usual expression. "I made a decision today, and Grandfather told me to let you guys know about it and let you guys fix what is needed to be fixed."

"What is it, son?" Arion asked.

After taking a deep breath Anna told everything to their parents, as in what they have done to all of the servants were workers here before. "So yeah. That' is about it, and we need new ones, and Grandfather ordered us to tell you two that you are the one who's going to find new workers."

"Huh? Why us? I'm busy as it is. Why can't butler Michael do this instead of us or Nanny Tess, she's good at finding good workers." Arion scratched his head. He does not want his time to be wasted on finding new workers for the mansion, he has a lot of paper works that are needed to be done if he wants to make his comeback to become publicly announced.

He wanted to scold his son for making such a hasty decision, but there is nothing he can do about it. What is done, is done.

"In case of you asking that Grandfather also said that he wants Nanny Tess and butler Michael at his side at all times because he wants them to do something for him," Aaron answered Arion's question.

Since butler Michael and Nanny Tess are going to be at his father's at all times that means that his father doesn't want to add more work to those two, which is the reason why his father entrusted him and his wife to do this job.

"Never in my life that this 'finding new workers' could be so troublesome." Arion has been on a lot of missions that says that he needs to find this and that, but never he could have thought he would be doing this kind of mission.

"Now that we told you what we came here for, we're going now. You can continue your, uh, thing from earlier." Aaron awkwardly said to his parents.

The twins are about to leave when Mary suddenly remembered something and stopped her daughter from leaving. "Anna! Before I forgot, I want you to go to Aunt Claire's cafe and meet up with Kyle's grandfather. He wants to speak with you."

Before Mary received her daughter's call earlier, Elijah Robertson suddenly contacted him and told her that he wants to meet her daughter. At first, she was shocked and confused, but ultimately she agreed to let Anna meet him.

"Uh... I'm sorry, what? Can you please repeat that again."
