409 Revenge 410: His Heart Feels Warmer Than Ever

"Do I look like I had enough sleep?" Aaron replied in a sarcastic manner. Aaron thinks that it is quite obvious that he didn't get enough sleep because of the dark circles on his eyes.

"What did Mom do to you?" It's obvious to Aaron that his sister doesn't really care about what happened to him last night, but she still asked just to have a conversation with him. He likes her gesture, but it's not making him happy at all.

'Why bother asking me at all, Anna?' Aaron inwardly asked.

"It's none of your business." He said. He doesn't want his sister to know the embarra.s.sment his mother made him do. Every time he thinks about it, he felt that his pride is shattering. Then again, he once again realizes that what he did to Nathalia is not something he should have done.

His mother and sister made that clear for him. Now, he doesn't know how to face Nathalia once they go back to school.

"Fine," Anna said. She is about to leave her brother alone, but she suddenly remembers the conversation she had with her father last night. "I almost forgot to tell you, Dad wants to train us personally starting on Monday. He won't take no for an answer from you."

"On Monday? But that's when we start learning things from Elder Martha. We can't do both at the same time." Aaron frowns at the idea of him and his sister doing two things on the same day. It's going to be hectic, and he doesn't even know if his body has enough energy to do it all.

"Well, this wouldn't have happened if you didn't do that to Nathalia."

"What? What I did to Nathalia has nothing to do with the training." Their father is training them personally, and he is sure that it has nothing to do with what he did to Nathalia. How can his sister say that to him? Is she really trying to hit his spot?

"Of course, it has something to with Nathalia, you stupid brother." Anna is frustrated that his brother is not recognizing the most obvious fact. "You kissed Uncle Leo's daughter without permission, what do you think will happen to you once uncle Leo finds out about it?"

Hearing that, Aaron gave some thoughts about it. He and Leonardo have little interaction with each other, however, with those little interactions, he is well aware of how scary Leonardo can get. "I'm probably dead by now." He said.

"True. That's why you should be thankful that none of us who knew about what happened didn't spill anything to uncle Leo just yet." Now that Anna is saying this, a naughty thought suddenly pops in her mind.

While her brother is not looking at her direction, she took out her phone and send a message to Zen. 'Oh, brother. You're going to have a bad week this time.' Anna inwardly smirk.

"You're right,"  Aaron said. "Is it because of uncle Leo that our father wants to train us personally?" Though the answer is obvious Aaron still insisted on asking.

"Yes." Anna is excited that things are getting more interesting than she expected. Her past life is not as lively as what she is having now. She never once thought that she has to work harder for herself. Her past life was all about the people around and never thought about herself because of that, they took advantage of her and it even led to her death.

Now, she is step by step avoiding her tragic path. She already got rid of those ruined her in her past life, but there are still a lot of people lurking in the corner that is trying to the same thing. As long as those people are around, Anna can't let her guard down.

Looking at the time on her phone, Anna stood up then gave her brother a peck on the cheek. "I'm going out. Message me if there is anything you want me to get for you."

Now that he is paying more attention to his sister, Aaron just noticed that Anna is dressed casually. "Where are you going?" He asked. He didn't hear from her that she is going out today, he even planned to have his sister talk to him on how should he make it up to Nathalia.

Without his sister around, he doesn't know what to do. He can't just ask his mother and Nanny Tess because they will pour their frustration on him, and he can't also ask Lannie because she will only tease him and not help him.

"I'm going to where Kyle is training right now," Anna said nonchalantly and Aaron only frowns at her. How can his sister say that so calmly? She's going to meet up with a man who she is not even going out with.

With that thought in mind, Aaron gasped and asks, "Are you and Kyle are together now?" From what he heard from the girls gossiping in the cla.s.sroom, they said that they visit their boyfriends whenever they have the time. Since his sister has a lot of free time today, the only reason he can think of why Anna is going to visit Kyle is that they are seeing each other now.

Anna paused then, she smiles at her brother and said, "I'm waiting for him to ask me out." Once Anna realizes that there is no point for her to keep thinking about the bad things in a relations.h.i.+p, the only thing she has been doing now is to wait for Kyle to finally ask her.

"I hope he won't ever ask you out." Aaron murmured, but Anna heard him.

Anna stomped on her brother's feet and said, "I hope Nathalia hates you forever."

Nathalia hating her brother? That impossible to happen, however, if she can manage to mess with her brother's mind then, that is enough for now.

Not adding more words to say to her brother, Anna left the mansion angrily.

"Anna!"

Anna just arrived at her destination, and not so far away from her, someone called out her name. She looks to where that voice came from and smiles when she saw that it was Lannie. She walks towards Lannie then, she asks, "Lannie what are you doing here? Your brother didn't mention that you're here too. If I have known, I would bring more food with me."

When she told Kyle that she is practicing a whole new recipe for him to eat, Kyle agreed to be her taster. Since he agreed, she decided to come and deliver it to him personally.

"I was at my father's office and my brother sent me out here to come and get you. And you don't have to worry, I already ate anyway."

In all honesty, Lannie and her brother were not as close as Anna and her twin brother are. They care for each other, however, whenever they talk it's only minimal. Ever since Anna got close to the Robertson family, Lannie and Kyle are starting to get closer than what they antic.i.p.ated.

Lannie is very grateful that Anna got herself involved in her and her brother's life.

"Is my brother going to be your guineapig from now on?" Lannie asked.

"I wouldn't say it like that, but if that's easier for you to understand then, I guess that's about it." When Anna was making the dish earlier, she tasted it. For her, it tasted good, but she is not actually sure if others would think that same way.

She wanted her brother to be the first one to try it, but Kyle told her that he would be willing to judge her cooking. And here she is now, on her way to where Kyle is.

Lannie and Anna were talking to each other on their way, and while they do their own thing, the workers in the building were watching them, murmuring to each other. They all saw the last article about Kyle and Anna being together at the park, and Anna visiting the build where Kyle is currently at is confirming that the article was saying the truth.

Some workers, especially the women, are squealing at the thought of the young love Anna and Kyle have. Those two are still young and yet, their love is stronger, is what they think.

"Here we are," Lannie said as she opens the door of the CEO's office. Once they entered, Anna and Lannie saw one person in the room, it was Lannie's father, Stan Robertson. "Daddy, where's brother?" Lannie asked.

Hearing his precious daughter's voice, Stan stopped doing what he was doing then, he looks up. A smile appeared in his face, it such a sight to see his daughter and his future daughter-in-law together. It's making his heart feels warmer than ever.

"I told your brother to do something for me, it won't be long, he'll be back."
