398 Revenge 399: She Admires Nathalia

Knowing what Nathalia is trying to say, Zen looks at her and said, "So you're gonna use uncle Leo's name now?" Ever since childhood, Zen has always known that Nathalia doesn't like it when people say that she is great because of her background.

Nathalia had enough of it, and since then, she wants to stand out without people mentioning her background. Make a name out for herself. It is kind of ironic that she wants to do something that won't involve her father and yet, she is letting her father stop the bad rumors about her.

"As if I can do anything about it." Nathalia started. "Even if I want to erase those bad rumors about me by myself, my father will be always the first one to make a move. That is just the way he is." No matter how many times she tells her father that she wants to take care of it herself, he never allows her.

He said that he will let his daughter to anything that he wants, but protecting her is his job, and there is nothing she can do about it.

"Your father is so overprotective of you, I wonder what will happen when you get yourself a boyfriend." Anna ponders. Believing that her brother will soon realize his feelings for Nathalia, Anna is somewhat worried about her brother.

Even if Aaron is Mary Coleman's son, there is no guarantee that Leonardo Vendallin will go soft on him. Aaron will surely have a hard time coaxing Nathalia's father in the future.

"Oh, Anna. It's obvious what my father will do. He will do whatever is necessary to get rid of the guy, and of course, if that guy is being persistent, my father might like him." Knowing her father's characteristics, Nathalia is sure that if her boyfriend is persistent in continuing a relations.h.i.+p with her, her father will take a liking to that guy.

If only that 'guy' is Aaron, Nathalia is sure that everything will go just fine. However, she just can't freely imagine herself being with Aaron. That person is a bit oblivious of her feelings, even if she displays it in an obvious way, he will not see right through her.

Remembering all the tries that she did is only making her feel sulky. She even sometimes curse Aaron for not recognizing all her efforts. 'd.a.m.n him.' Nathalia inwardly said.

While Anna and her friends are continuing their conversation, there was a loud commotion coming near the room. They noticed it, but they decided not to pay attention to it because they believe it has nothing to do with them.

"You're the one who hid the dress, didn't you?!"

"W-What are you talking about?! It's not me! Don't accuse me without any evidence!"

"Evidence, you say? Someone told me that they saw you bringing Anna's dress out of the room, then pa.s.sing it to Elizabeth!"

Those were the words Anna and her friends heard. Originally, they wouldn't even bother themself listening to the whole thing, but when Anna's name was mentioned in the same sentence with Elizabeth's, they couldn't help but be curious about it.

"For some reason, I'm not that surprised to hear that Elizabeth planned that scheme to mess with me. Why is that?" Even after what happened yesterday, Anna is not even angry that someone hid her dress. Even if Elizabeth took part in it, she couldn't bring herself to get angry at her.

Is it because everything went well after what happened? Or is it because of some other reason that she couldn't tell? Well, whatever it is, Anna is content that the mystery behind her missing dress is already solved.

"The reason for that is simple, my dear sister. It's because you don't about the dress or about Elizabeth at all." Aaron spoke. "Let's look outside the room, shall we? I want to see how this show goes."

Aaron was the first one to stand, then he was followed by Anna and the others. They watched the whole unfold in front of them. The main people who are arguing didn't even notice them watching.

"I'm saying, give me proof that I did it!" Anna recognizes the person who just spoke. It was one of the partic.i.p.ants in yesterday's event. That girl was so pale yesterday that she and Leon thought that she was ill or something.

However, looking at her now, it didn't seem like she went through something bad yesterday. 'Is she really the culprit from yesterday? Is that why she looked pale?' Anna inwardly asked.

"There is a security camera all around the school. And since the room where all the dresses are is near the security camera, I'm sure we'll find out the who's the main culprit." Nathalia suggested.

She recognizes the two girls who are arguing just now. One is her cla.s.smate, and the other one is one of Anna's rivals at the event yesterday. This girl, her cla.s.smate, is the quiet one in the cla.s.s. A very hardworking girl. It's hard to believe that she would just accuse someone out of a whim.

So, Nathalia believes that she is saying the truth.

Turning around to see who said that, Anna's compet.i.tor from yesterday was shocked to see Anna and her friends. Despite being in shock, she still managed to say something. "S-Security camera?"

"Just in case of anything that might happen, the school cameras around the school. It's been there since school started. How come you didn't realize that yet, miss, uh, what's your name again? Wait don't tell me. It's Rina! Right, Rina?" Looking at Rina, Nathalia can that she is already fl.u.s.tered. People like her who get fl.u.s.tered already is an easy target. To add more, this also proves that she is the one who is in cahoots with Elizabeth about Anna's dress.

"There is no need for any of us to that! I really didn't do anything! It's only gonna waste everyone's time if we do that!" Rina forcefully said. If what Nathalia is saying is the truth. She can't let anyone look for that footage.

It will ruin her. She may never have the chance to walk on the stage and achieve her dreams. People will talk bad about her, and she can't stand that. She worked too hard just to have people's good opinion about her.

Even Nathalia Vendallin, she admires Nathalia since the start of the school. She tried her best to have Nathalia see her, but she wasn't able to achieve it when Nathalia's attention was only towards her close friends.

Wanting to have Nathalia recognize her existence, entering the pageant was one of her reason. If she was able to win it, maybe, just maybe, Nathalia will approach her. Even right now, despite the bad things that are happening to her, she is happy that Nathalia remembers her name.

If she can't stop Nathalia from looking through the footage from yesterday's, she will lose her chance to get close to her.

"Who says that it's one of my students who will look into it? I, the cla.s.s advisor will look for it myself. Besides, this cla.s.s rented that dress and I was slightly worried about should I for that expensive dress. So thank you, Nathalia, for suggesting that." Anna's teacher, Keila Jones suddenly appeared. She looks so serious that almost all of her students couldn't even look at her in the eye.

Although she said that the dress is not important, it's quite the opposite of what her mind was telling her. She, the cla.s.s advisor went through all the lengths just to give Anna the best dress for the event and yet, her efforts backfired when someone stole the dress.

After the event, she spent her entire night thinking about how should she pay for that missing dress. She could look for it, but she has no clue where she should start looking.

On her way to her cla.s.s, she overheard Nathalia's words, and she was incredibly happy that there is a solution for her, and at the same time, she is also happy that she can catch the culprit. That culprit surely wasted her entire night.

"Teacher Keila!" Anna exclaimed. After knowing the connection between her uncle Alfonso and her teacher, Anna wanted to more about their past. But she knows that it's inappropriate, and she couldn't have the chance to ask any of her parents because they have become busy. With no one to answer her question, she's been bottling up everything she wants to ask. It's torturing her.

"Don't worry girls, I will handle this situation and all of you should get on your seats," Keila spoke in a commanding tone. With that, everyone went back to their seats like an obedient dog. The only who is left outside is Zen, the visitor of the cla.s.s. Keila looks at him and she recognizes Zen's features, "Are you Zack's son?" She asked.

"Yes, I am. You know my father?" Zen replied immediately. His guts are somehow telling him not to angry Keila or else, he will get himself in trouble.
