"Cook for Kyle again! Do you hear me? And also, please put some good words for me so he won't look at me with murdering eyes anymore." Zen will willingly tell Anna about this matter over and over again as long as the result is that Kyle won't ever look at him like that ever again.

"Even if you didn't tell me that, I would still cook for him again. Geez. What's with you? I won't put good words for you to him. If you want to be on his good side, then work hard for it." Anna has no idea what Zen did to Kyle, but all she knows is that she won't help Zen.

"B-But he doesn't like me! We were not even acquaintances to each and yet, he already hates me! I only said one comment to you and he's already angry!" Yesterday, when Lannie mentioned that someone told her what he said that discourages Anna to not cook anymore, Zen already knew it was not Anna who told Lannie about that.

In his opinion, it's either Anna's twin or Nathalia. Those are the top people who want to see him suffer. He has no idea why they want him to suffer, but they are the suspects!

Anna sighed. Clearly, she is clueless about what Zen is talking about. "Can someone please tell me what this idiot is talking about?" Anna has this urge to make a comment in a sarcastic way, but she doesn't have that energy anymore. Zen drained her out the moment he kneeled in front of her.

"Do you remember what he said to you the other day? You know, at the cafe. If you do remember that, then that's your answer." Nathalia spoke, answering Anna's question. Truthfully said, she is having fun seeing Zen looking so desperate.

After hearing that, Anna now understands what point Zen is trying to make. "Zen, if you're worried about what you said to me the other, I didn't let it affect me. Well, it did, but after some thinking, I just shrugged it off." When nightfall came on that day, Anna spent hours rethinking about everything.

When she realized that she's only being dramatic, she immediately blocked off Zen's words from her mind. She is only going to waste her time if she let those words bother her.

"Then, why did you stop giving your cooked food to Kyle?" Zen curiously asked.

"I stopped, but it was only temporary because I was busy handling my family business. How did you even know about that?" Not making anything for Kyle for any a few days, Anna didn't think that it was such a big deal, like how Zen is portraying it to her.

"It's obvious." After knowing the reason why Kyle was staring at him with murderous intent, Zen guessed that Kyle didn't receive anything from Anna since that day. Now that he knows the real reason why Kyle didn't receive anything from Anna, he is relieved by that. "Even so, please help me out. I don't want that guy to look at me like that every time I see him."

For some reason, Zen kept having this feeling that soon he and Kyle will see each other more frequently than what is expected. Since everything is not set in stone just yet, Zen wants to make sure that the meeting between him and Kyle will a peaceful one before his bad omen happens.

"You must be just imagining it, Zen. I'm sure you misinterpret the way Kyle looks at you." Since Anna is well aware of Kyle's characteristic, she knows that Zen is telling the truth to her. But she pretended she's not believing him.

This is Anna's way of taking her revenge on Zen. How dare he messed her mind like that.

"What? Are you being serious?" Hearing that question, Anna put on an innocent smile. Zen does not believe that Anna is being serious with him, so he turned around and face the one person he knows who is still not liking Kyle for Anna. "Aaron, is your sister being serious? Tell me that she's only messing with me."

It is still morning and yet, he feels like Anna is already making a fool out of him. He doesn't like that kind of feeling. In their group of friends, it is his job to lighten the mood, to annoy his friends, and sometimes make a fool out of his friends.

With this feeling that is inside him, he just can't let it go and wants to erase it all at once. But how can he do it?

"I don't know. Don't ask me. My sister is already a teenager who has fallen deeply to a man like Kyle." Aaron said nonchalantly.

Nathalia chuckled, then she spoke, "Looks like you're going to have a sad, sad future, and you have no one to blame but you." The moment she said that Zen's expression turned into something so adorable. He looks like an abandoned puppy right now.

She is about to pat Zen's head, but a st.u.r.dy hand stopped her. She looks at the owner of that hand and is somehow surprised to see that its owner is Aaron. She raised an eyebrow, it is as if she's asking him if he has any problems with her.

"Don't touch him." He said without hesitation. He stopped Nathalia from touching Zen's head out of impulse, he is not entirely sure why he did that. But if he didn't stop Nathalia, he is sure that he wouldn't like it.

For a while, now he is starting to realize that there is something wrong with him. Whenever he sees Nathalia, he has this urge to annoy her, and when he sees Nathalia conversing with a guy, he is annoyed by it. He wants to build up a wall just to separate Nathalia from any other guys. He is the only one who is allowed to go across that wall.

"What right do you have to stop me from touching my childhood friend? Can't you see how adorable this being is? How can a person like me not have the urge to pet him?!"

Aaron noticed that Nathalia's hands are trembling. He knows that his grip is not that tight, so that means he is not the reason why she's trembling. But based on the words that she just said, he thinks that she's trembling because she can't hold herself back anymore. She wants to pet Zen right now before Zen goes back to his not adorable expression.

"Brother, what are you doing? Let her be. You know how close she is to her childhood friends, acting like that to Zen is only natural for her." Anna smiled at her brother, and her brother knows that smile has a deep meaning behind it.

"Even so, people in this school like to talks about false rumors. The other day, you and I pretended to be a couple. If you suddenly acted so intimately with others, even if it is your childhood friends, the people in this school will talk."

Anna and Nathalia know what Aaron is trying to say. If Nathalia is suddenly close to other guys and not to Aaron, some students will say that Aaron and Nathalia broke up. It's not even a month since that show they showed to everyone.

Although Anna understands her brother's point, she couldn't help but feel that there is a deeper meaning behind his words. She wants to inquire for more information out of her brother, but not right now. She's going to do it slowly.

"I do not care about what the idiot people in this school will say. I stay true to myself." Nathalia said firmly. She used to interact with her childhood friends in a sweet and caring way, and she is not going to let the people's opinion about her stop her from doing the things she always does.

The only way for her to stop is when Zen or Josh says something about it. But until then, she's going to continue.

"Go, girl! I like that! Stay true to yourself. Don't worry my brother, he is just being mean like always towards you." Since her mood has changed, Anna decided to tease her brother more. She will wait and see how long will it take for her brother to finally says something so unexpected.

"Me? Being mean? Please, I'm not being mean. I'm just trying to protect her. With those kinds of people, you never know what kind of malicious words they might say about her. It might even break her." Aaron spoke in a matter-of-fact tone.

Whilst, it is true that some other people can't stand the rumors about them and it breaks them to the point they don't want to show their faces to anyone or they might go for suicide just to escape their reality. That is what Aaron is trying to say to them.

"Aaron, I'm not that weak. I can take it. Besides, would they even dare to spread such rumors about me?" Nathalia said with a smile.
